I’ve visited Abba Eyecare several times and the staff is absolutely fantastic! Everyone is very helpful, courteous and fast! While Dr. Nguyen is lighthearted and funny, he is also very professional. He educates his patients on all aspects of their eye health and how to take good care of their eyes and vision. What a great eye doc! Would highly recommend to those in the area!

I’ve been going to Abba Eye Care for about five years now and am never disappointed by their service. Recently, at the new location, I’ve been even more impressed. Dustin has been extremely helpful every single time I’ve been in there from helping me find the right frames to ordering contacts to just been downright helpful and friendly. Dr. Nguyen takes time to make sure your prescription and contacts are right the first time. I’ve only been at the new location for about a year but have already noticed a huge difference in the customer service. Even my husband, new to glasses as of this month, was treated very well has already noticed a definite improvement in his vision. Thank you all!

The service was great! Everyone was professional, friendly and courteous. My eye exam went smoothly, the doctor and assistants were very kind and did not make me feel nervous at all. My prescription had not changed much so they said I did not have to purchase new glasses and could continue to wear my current set. I appreciated their honesty and not trying to pressure me into buying new glasses. After the exam I shopped around for some new frames and they have someone who specializes in just that! I forgot his name, asian fellow, but he was extraordinary. Not pushy, very helpful and knew what he was talking about. He helped find frames and explained pros/cons of each, company history and it was just a great experience. Then we got to choosing lenses and he knew everything there is to know about those as well! I was very grateful for his help and definitely recommend anyone shopping for new frames to see him! I didn’t end up purchasing a set because their prices were higher than I expected; got 2 pairs for the price of 1 quoted from me here at another establishment.(yes, frames and lenses were comparable of course).

I’ve been using this location for about the past 5 years. The glasses selection is good and I was happy with their hours and late/weekend appointments. The new patient fee of $ 99 was a little crazy to me, but I had only encountered small frustrations each time from them calling me to pick up only one contact lens, to having the assistant start a check-up and then ask me later if I still had my contacts in. Nothing really topped this year. I guess I could have just skipped the exam, since the doctor told me after I came in for my appointment that I only needed one every two years. After the exam, he upped my prescription, which I felt like he did because people pay for the exam and are unhappy when their prescription doesn’t change. Unfortunately, the stronger prescription started giving me terrible headaches. I found myself scrambling to get over there after work to pick up contacts and follow-up with more appointments. After I had my eyes dilated on the second appointment, they asked me on another appointment to have them dilated again. I saw three different doctors and after my second appointment with the third doctor(the young male doctor) he finally listened to my concerns about coming back so many times and the headaches. After visiting the office for appointments and pickups — 10 times in two months –the final trial prescription was ordered and they called me to come and pick it up. To help me, the doctor wanted me to pick it up at the same time as a scheduled appointment so I wouldn’t have to make two trips; therefore, performing the checkup at the same time. However, the staff didn’t understand the message and when I went to pick up the contacts the manager literally refused to let me pick up the contacts without the doctor seeing me even though I explained to her that they called me to pick them up. So, I had to leave and call again to make an appointment suffering three more days with headaches. After the final check, the doctor had the staff send in my prescription to order my contacts. After two weeks and no contacts, I called and the staff member told me that she — woops… forgot to order them. I finally got my boxes almost three months after my first appointment and hope to stretch them out as long as possible so I don’t have to go back. Unfortunately, I’ve tried a couple other optometrists and chains in the area and can’t find better service. I could possibly try another Abba location closer to my work. Any recommendations?

I recently needed to get my first pair of glasses. I spoke to several friends that wear glasses and received rave reviews about ABBA Eye Care and their customer service. I could not have been more disappointed in their customer service. I was very nervous about getting glasses. The salesperson(I think her name was Jessie) was pushy and insensitive. I told her I was looking for full frame purple glasses with square lenses. Every frame she gave to me to try on was nothing like what I was looking for. One was a brown half frame with round lenses. As I said, I was nervous about getting glasses and her inability to help me find a frame I would like was very frustrating. She stated when she started working with me that she would not sell to me, but then started using hard sell techniques to get me to buy options that I was already willing to buy. She mocked me for my decision to not have my eyes numbed before the dilation drops. It was pretty much a horrible experience. I will not be going back to the ABBA eye care on Integrity Center Point. The doctor was good, but I received horrible customer service. If I have questions or problems with the glasses I have purchased through ABBA, I will be going to a different store. I did go to the Lake store because my frames needed some adjustment, and their customer service was much more on par with what I was expecting after the reviews I got from my friends.

I happened into Abba years ago because my insurance suggested them. Now I won’t go anywhere else. Became friends with Doc. and all the staff seem to remember me by name. Good service, good selection. Alway able to solve problems. Warranty repairs never an issue. Very happy!
