Amazing sliders and cheese fries! Kids ate ALL their food and were stealing fries from my plate. Willie Nelson slider is delicious!

The Willie Nelson. Fried Oreos. That’s all you need to know. Do it. (For the need-to-know-more types, this small, nicely low-key slider joint serves up really tasty, creative concoctions in between varying styles of bread. This out-of-towner is highly impressed! For dessert, treat yourself to the sinfully amazing fried Oreos. Bad for the waistline? Very probably. Great for the taster? You better believe it!) Friendly counter service, great little place. Very glad we stopped in on a whim!

This was our first time coming to Mickey’s and now I see why it gets the glowing reviews. I had the Willie Nelson and the 12th man. Both were excellent. My daughter had the lonestar and raved over it. This hurt my feelings a bit since she never comments on the pulled pork at home. Hopefully she can find a ride home before dark.

Definitely one of the best places in BCS for a fast burger. I would take this place over any other burger spots in a heartbeat. They’ve got a great selection of slides, especially if you don’t eat beef or pork. They even have a vegetarian slider too! I personally loved the Soul slider. It’s a strip of fried chicken between two waffle quarters. Definitely delicious and an interesting twist on what you would expect a slider to be. The other thing I did try was one of the deep fried oreos. Oh my gosh — a single order of this is way too dense for any normal person. But they are pretty delicious. Each plate comes with four deep fried oreos, so definitely bug a buddy(or 3) to help you finish. All in all, great spot — and I highly recommend it.

Absolutely love Mickey’s! Went in just to try a new place one day and have been back at least a dozen times. I’ve never had a bad experience here. My favorite slider is The Chicken and the Parmesan fries with the truffle mayo is to die for! Service has always be extremely fast and the food is fresh, hot off the grill. You can tell it is made to order and never set under heat lamps. I would highly recommend Mickey’s to anyone!

Man I love this place. It’s a cool, local, fast casual spot that is serving up absolutely delicious sliders. The menu is intriguing to say the least, with sliders inspired from the classic burger, chicken sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, philly cheesesteak, and even chicken and waffles. Looking up at that daunting menu, I was immediately glad these sliders were sized and priced small enough that I could order more than one. I’d say a normal person would be satisfied with 2 sliders, and if you’re feeling pretty hungry you’re safe to go with 3. Long story short, those sliders were so good on our first visit, that upon my return to College Station a few weeks later, me and all 4 of my coworkers agreed this HAD to be our first stop. All the sliders I had were delicious, but a special shout out to the Wing Royale which emerged as my favorite. It’s a chicken wing inspired slider with buffalo sauce, blue cheese, and boneless chicken wings. Top Notch.

The only way I’ll eat a fried egg is on a Mickey’s Morning After slider! My favorites are the Willie Nelson, the Lonestar, the Morning After and best of all the fried Mushrooms with the blue cheese ranch. Awesome people, awesome food. Sometimes you have to try a few before you find your fave. They also have some great local beers. I was turned on to Weiss Versa from Karbach, now it’s my go to beer. The fried oreos with the cheesecake topping are the bomb. I’ve gotten all my coworkers turned on to Mickey’s too. The employees aren’t bad to look at either; P

Fresh food & great atmosphere bring me back. Crack sells itself. I discovered that the place pays it workers a living wage and that makes me incredibly happy and explains why everything is so good. I recommend the food truck, too!

Today was our first visit to Mickey’s and we are already planning our second! I’ve read so many good reviews that I wasn’t deterred from the recent negative comment. My husband and I both got the combos. He had a Willie Nelson and a jerry garcia, I had a Willie Nelson and a sam houston. Please don’t be fooled when you think it cost too much for just a slider. They are very filling and taste amazing. Our son got the pulled pok kids meal and he loved it. I was able to snag a tiny piece of the pork before he scarfed it down and it was really good. The sweet potatoe fries are a must. So crispy. My husband enjoyed his parmesan fries and our son just got regular fries. The regular fries were still well seasoned and apparently very good jus ding by the sounds my son made while eating. Ha ha Service was very friendly, maybe he was the owner? He happily gave us suggestions on what to order and didn’t mind that it took us a minute to decide. So all in all great food, great service, and we will be back to try more on the menu. Ps if you like Philly cheese steak sam houston is a must try

Tapas for burgers in a college town. Had the meal plate with two sliders and sweet potato fries. They do everything well. Food was tasty and the girl at the register was as sweet and helpful as they come. Great experience. For me, the food was too rich but that’s because it’s been a long time since I was in college. This is, essentially, a high-class greasy spoon. Great creativity but still a very rich meal. P. S. I was blessed to get a deep fried Oreo by checking in through Unilocal. The blueberry sauce made all the difference. Again, creative but rich.

Finally got to try Mickey’s Sliders this evening with my husband! It was never on our list of places to try because we never really saw it from the street, as it is located in between other businesses. A friend of us told us it was great… and we are always looking for something new! So…we gave it a try, first of all, never judge a book by it’s cover! Don’t let the outside of this place fool you! We walked in and were immediately impressed by its cleanliness and we were greeted with all smiles! If you have never been, they offer a variety of sliders… anything from hamburgers and chicken, to pulled pork and cheesesteak! You can choose a single slider… or order by the«meal» which includes two sliders, a side, and a drink for like $ 10! I had the Chicken Slider and the Willie Nelson slider… I was a little hesitant at first and wanted to just to the Basic Slider, but Miller, the manager talked me into trying the Willie Nelson with sweet potato french fries(which were very crispy… which in my opinion are the BEST!) Both sliders were delicious… I would get either one of them again, I am not sure I can do two next time… they weren’t big but it was very filling! Before we left we had the chance to try some of the deep fried oreos… and they were hands down the best I have ever had. They were drizzled with blueberry cream cheese and powdered sugar… YUM! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something fresh and different in College Station… it’s a nice getaway from all of the Mexican and BBQ restaurants in town!

Absolutely delicious. Jerry Garcia + Volcano + Parm fries. Excellent sliders with tons of flavor, and tasty perfectly cooked fries. I honestly didn’t realize the Jerry Garcia was a vegetarian option(oops!) but I would 100% get it again. Volcano. Delicious patty, nice flavor and wishing I had ordered the Thirty-Dozen(a dozen sliders) at this point. The fried Oreos were a nice little treat for checking in, and oh my goodness. This is officially one of my favorite desserts. Move over fried Twinkie. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the service was on point. Food came out fast, and I’m wishing we had one of these back home in Memphis now.

We were in College Station for the first time and turned to our trusted compatriots on Unilocal for a suggestion of where to eat. We learned about Mickey’s Sliders which is tucked away in a strip mall, and glad that we looked it up, Mickey’s Sliders has a great concept and an amazing variety of menu options that will make your taste bud happy. One of the tricks on the menu is to order the combo. For $ 10.00, you get your choice of two sliders, fries or onion rings, and a drink. I chose to get the«Morning After» slider and the daily special which was the«Kim Jong Yum». The Kim Jong Yum was thinly signed sliced beef, marinated in a Korean BBQ marinade, with pickled cucumber and carrots, kimchi on a Bahn Mi style bun. The meat was delicious and the pickled vegetables were spot on. The kimchi was also delicious and made the perfect topping to the sandwich. The morning after burger was a beef patty with smoked bacon, an over easy egg and a chipotle ailoi. This slider was tasty, yet be careful with the egg. Make sure you are learning over the table on the first bite or you are liable to be wearing it. The onion rings were thinly sliced, lightly breaded and tasty. You can choose from a variety of different dipping sauces for the fries on rings, the blue cheese ranch is the one I tried and would get it again. The staff at Mickey’s were all friendly and conversationalists. We started talking and it was like we had been long time friends. Mickey’s Sliders is definitely a great place to go if you are looking for something unique and delicious, but casual.

The venison chili cheese fries have moved to stratospheric quality with the addition of the New Zealand elk. Simply amazing. Still can’t say enough about the breakfast sliders. I can not come in without picking up a Morning After. Quite literally the only addiction in my life. A new slider that I’ve fallen in love with — the Willie Nelson! Smoked bacon and truffle mayo on the burger topped with some onion rings. Delicious!

Chicken Wing Royale was pretty good, but I wish the chicken was crispy! Hmmm, that would have been amazing. The Willie Nelson is where it’s at though, basically a bacon cheeseburger, and one of the best I’ve had. It’s a special, but super popular so it might be a regular menu item someday! The fries were moderately crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and paired well with the truffle mayonnaise. Wash it all down with some Dr. Pepper and you’ve got yourself a solid meal. All that will cost you just $ 10(combo price, allows for ANY2 sliders). You can also get yourself a free fried Oreo if you check in here, which is pretty good. The guy that helped us was nice and gave my friends free oreos too! Totally worth a try! Overall, the establishment is pretty clean, good service, and great food! Absolutely worth a try if you’re looking for a place to eat in College Station, 4⁄5.
