Applebee’s

The food was so good. The wonton tacos are a must have! The waiter was friendly and made the time there so much fun! This location even has pool tables! The drinks were great and it didn’t take long to be served at all. Love it!

They play loud disgusting rap music and don’t even ask if you like it or not, which is the most unprofessional thing I’ve observed in a restaurant. The food is a joke and is very low quality, I once ordered a steak and it came out like a piece of rubber. This location should be shutdown, don’t come here unless you like terrible food and awful customer service. There is a reason there star rating is so low, be smart and eat anywhere else.

Terrible … Our waitress Kellie was terrible! Not only did she not get our napkins but her rounds took forever. Leak bk the bar causing nats.
Food blahhhhh…

How is it that were here and we ask for napkins don’t get any, so we have to get our own, they they forget my order like really come on.

Good environment, bad food. Medium well steak — half of it was medium rare and the other half was well done. Baked potato: half was perfectly soffit, the other half was not cooked enough.

This is the worst Applebee’s ever! The place was hot and there was flies inside. They had no mashed potatoes, so ordered a baked potato instead with my meal. My plate had a stiff plain boiled potato on it!
The manager had friends over and she was just sitting there chatting and eating?! Terrible service and expensive!

This is a review for the day shift.
Like everyone else is saying, the service is terrible. The food tastes awful. I wasn’t given a choice of my side which is insane and more importantly, the sides chosen for me where quite possibly the WORST pairing I’ve had. Chopped, undercooked red potatoes (how do you f**k that up!?) and a raw, portobello mushroom with sour artichoke stuffing with was just terrible. The steak was overcooked and has a rubbery and extremely unusual texture that was a major turn off. Somehow, my order took over 30 mins to come out when the restaurant is effectively empty. Absolutely unacceptable.
To boot, there were flies galore.
Service wise the staff is ignorant, loud, obnoxious and highly unprofessional.
I can safely say that I absolutely cannot and will not recommended the Applebee’s to anyone. It needs to be shut down or completely restaffed. The chef needs to be fired (no doubt) and the manager needs to be taught how to manage a restaurant, because her display of managerial efforts fell painfully flat and showed that not only is she not in control, but her juniors do not respect her in the slightest.
Case in point: DO NOT EAT HERE. It’s not worth the disappointment.

The restaurant was warm as if having AC issues. Overall ok. Not sure about the food because I ordered the smoked brisket nachos. I was expecting a heaping plate of meat and chips for the $ 9.99 price. I received a plate of chips with some type of cheese and only and the brisket meat was barely one ounce. Pretty pathetic on that issue.
Nothing exciting to want to visit Applebees again. Chiles beats them hands down!

Honestly, its just terrible. Only went here because we had a gift card… wouldn’t come back even if you paid me.

Applebee’s. It’s a trap! This is simply not a good franchise of this American chain. The staff is nice but not very attentive. The food is outrageously subpar especially when compared to similar restaurants such as chili’s. I do not recommend this to anyone who has any respect for their taste buds. I hate writing such negative reviews like this but it is well deserved. The kind people of college station deserve better!

Service sucks. Food was not much better with stingy portions. Drunks at the bar should have been cut off a long time ago. Won’t be back. I thought this was a family restaurant

I had the 9oz steak, baked potato and grilled vegetables. I asked for medium well. The center was pretty much bleeding. The baked potato had enough butter for no one and cheese for less. Bar service was the only reason o gave it a two. Tyler kept my margarita full. I won’t be back for the food.

This applebees is horrible. They take forever to get your food out and then when it was time to get my food out they told me they were out of what i ordered. so i waited even longer and they made my next order wrong and then the bar tender went back and made my order.

I don’t understand why everyone gave a bad review. This place is so good and the staff are nice. The food is fresh tasting. The past is the past_​if they ever closed, they did something right to open again_.

I don’t agree with many of the other reviews on here. We come here often and the food is always delicious. The black and bleu burger is AWESOME. Our drink are always made perfectly and never once have we had bad service.

The food is terrible… Over cooked, terrible taste, and strange! The service is kind of nice tough.

It’s a nice place to go to late at night when you want something to eat with a couple of friends. Service is a hit or miss. Sometimes I have great attentive waiters and sometimes I barely see them, so like I said a hit or miss with service. I have not gone during the day nor do I plan to lol. I just like the convenience of it being open until 2am everyday along with the half-​priced appetizers after 10 pm.

One Big Mistake.
We had gift cards for this place and decided to use them without checking the restaurant ratings before.
When we arrived, the place was empty (now we know why), there was a smell and although we were a family off 5, for some reason the hostess thought it was OK for us to sit on a table with bar-​stools.
I requested to move to a different table, it was a booth on a corner, it was hard for me to get in because of how close the table supports were to the edge of the seats (I am by no means fat, 5’10″, 175 lbs).
The first thing to arrived was the appetizer (Spinach dip), it was bad, no flavor at all. After about 20 minutes our entrees arrived, my wife steak was hard to eat ((sirloin), tiny with some insipid mashed potatoes.
My BBQ ribs with fries was good. Service was slow, it took somewhere around 10 — 15 to get our check and then another 5 minutes to get our receipt.
Probably the only good thing about this place was the fact they are big armed forced supporters (the only reason I give them a 2 star), other than that I don’t recommend it, specially after knowing the place was close (according to another Unilocaler) due to finding roaches in the kitchen (aghhhh, I don’t feel well tonight)

My wife and I visited this restaurant recently. When our orders arrived, my wife’s plate had food stuck to it. This was not a part of her order, it was from a previous meal.
When we sent it back, they acted like it was business as usual, they took the plate, made no apologies and we never saw our waitress again. Pathetic.
Don’t waste your time or your money on this place. You’ll get a better meal at Arby’s…and I was actually hungry enough to eat at Arby’s once.

The Brazos Valley Health Department yanked the food service permit of this Applebees this week and it was closed for a day after live roaches were found in the kitchen.
We had only eaten here once and found the food way too salty. But forget way too roachy! :)
