Came here for the Stewed Chicken with Noodles. The chicken was very tender and flavorful. The other main ingredient was potato and noodle. Potato was so delicious as it had soaked up the flavor of the sauce. Unfortunately, the noodle was overcooked. I preferred the noodle to be more chewy. In contrast to the other Unilocal reviews, I did not find their service to be bad. Actually, they were quite friendly.

A good lamb themed Chinese restaurant. There were a lot of new dishes I’ve never seen before at other places. All the items we ordered were delicious. The service was good and the prices were fair. There is lots of parking in the shopping center and they have clean restrooms.

The food was amazing. My favourites are the skewers(all kinds), Lamb Dal Bhat, stir fried lamb and vegi, and sautéed cabbage with chilli paper. It is worth the wait of driving 1 hour and half from west of LA. The yoghurt is very delicious too. The Unilocal coupon doesn’t apply, since Unilocal ignores the request from the owner to take it down.

We went order fried rice and lamb curry, the waiters hardly English-speaking and the fried rice is overcooked(the rice is almost halfway become porridge very soft) the curry just so so, I don’t think we will be back again

Called to make an order to go, just wanted 2 lamb skewers and eggplant. Called 3 times to place an order, twice was hung up on, and the 3rd time the lady on the phone said no English and hung up. Very rude and not professional.

This place seriously is going nowhere with their rude attitudes. My mom and I wanted the lunch special on the wall outside. We asked how much it was because we hadn’t glanced at the price. The lady, who was obviously new told us to go check outside. Talk about rude. They can’t speak english and it takes forever to communicate what you want. Plus the food is so overpriced for what it is. Not worth it. Don’t waste your time.

There are three things I value when I eat at a restaurant: quality of food, service, and price. Food is okay. Price is not cheap for a chinese restaurant. And service is horrible. This was the first time I got lectured by the owner on what to choose on the menu. Not only that, he even tells me that some of the menu items tastes really bad. So why put it on the menu if they’re horrible? When we asked about the Unilocal checkin, he said, «No, no, no. We won’t do free yogurt no more. Don’t even think about it.» Very very rude and condescending tone. He said he forgot the password to Unilocal. So I guess he does not value any feedbacks on Unilocal. Thus, this place deserves 1 star rating.

Food is okay. BUT when we asked about the free yogurt offer which is listed on Unilocal, the owner said the offer was expired two years ago. And the reason why they did not close the offer on Unilocal is because they lost the password. What the heck! That’s cheating ok? Disappointed. Btw, the male owner is really annoying. Not a good experience.

No free yogurt even if you check in. They should remove it on Unilocal.I would have left 5 stars if they kept the promise.

We came for lunch. It was my first visit. We were each going to order the lunch specials but the owner was so passionate and emphatic about the stewed chicken that we ordered that instead along with a stirred fried lamb dish. My coworker have been raving about the chicken so I was glad to try it. It did come out about 15 minutes after the lamb dish. The dish was enough for 4, though a couple next to us polished off their plate lickety split. The chicken was very tender and flavorful. It was entirely dark meat which is what I like but may not be the preference for others. The other main ingredient was potato which as cooked through. This dish reminded me of home cooking from my youth. The lamb dish was much more spicy. But had a strong cumin taste. My coworker did mention this region is close to the Turkish border so there is a middle-eastern influence. The lamb was saved with onion and was tasteful. When we asked about the check-in special, we were told the offer was over a year-old and no longer honored. Okay Unilocal, this is the 2nd time today I was denied a check-in special. I hope this is not a trend of false advertisement. Overall this was a very satisfying lunch. I would definitely come back.

EH. Very roughly made food. Flavor is okay, but it’s really, really, really expensive for what it is. You could get better elsewhere. They never honor their Unilocal deals without a great amount of prompting either. Service is actually pretty good here. However, that only applies to the guys, the woman looks like she hates this place. This place is a pretty over-the-top attempt to serve ethnic-ish food though. The décor ranges from tasteless to hideous.

Being only a few miles from Silk Road, it’s impossible for me not to compare the two. The food at Silk Road is superb, but the service is so bad my husband vowed never to dine(in) there again. The food here is hit or miss, the lamb and rice is flavorless in all, the lamb is boiled instead of roasted, and though it’s less greasy, the rice is hard and the entire dish lackluster. I got the free yogurt that came with Unilocal checkin, and it’s very mild. Not sour or sweet, I don’t know if they simply forgot the sugar, but I found it to my taste, preferring the mildness that accentuated the nutty sesame and fragrant crushed peanuts. Their stir fried lamb dishes were all good, spicy but without too much bite, the meat tender, if a little fatty. I think they coat the lamb in some starch, then deep fry it before stir-frying with veggies. The grilled eggplant was similar to the lamb shishkebabs, but milder, with lots of raw garlic, cilantro, and green onions. The House Chicken comes with noodles and is not as greasy as Silk Road. It’s decent, but not as good.

o1.29.15 Lunch with BFF I’ve been craving for spicy food lately. I don’t know why… and I see lot of pimples popping out, I think I need to stop. Arrgghh My co-workers recommended the spicy chicken platter and I tried it. It is really good! But my friend ordered the house special platter and it was pretty good too. It is also spicy but not as much as the spicy platter. She also ordered the spicy lotus root. It was really fresh, crunchy, and yummy. Btw, if you check in, you get a free homemade yogurt pre table. The yogurt was actually pretty good. The owner was funny. While she put down the yogurt, she said, «Please try it, take a picture and give us some good feedbacks.» Note: The big chicken platter takes 15 – 20 mins to cook. So if you’re going there for much during work days, you’ll probably won’t have enough time to enjoy your food. Maybe try to call ahead and order first. I am not sure if you can do this but it won’t hurt to try.

Lambbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb This is one of newer restaurant in the area that specialty in lamb dish, but reality is only handful of dish are actually lamb. The interior of this restaurant is very mom and pop feeling, low budget and more target to older customers. Parking is no problem here, since this plaza isn’t too bad even with In-N-Out… Most other place would had been near impossible to park. Some review claim there is no restroom, which is false statement. They do have it but is for both genders. The owner of this store appears to be friendly but also a bit pushy as well. Keep it short, the food here is pretty ok to me, do not order the #1 chicken dish, is huge but isn’t good. The lamb dish is what you should stick here, to get your money worth. The lamb skewer is good but not great, it wasn’t juicy as what I would like. The eggplant dish was a disappointment. Most of the dish you got option to choose noodles or rice, stick with rice. Check-In get you free in-house yogurt, this isn’t the sweet kind that you are custom to. I think is great for end of meal to get it digest especially after spicy dishes. There is was a 20% coupon from Chihou at the time we dine here, the bill came down just $ 10 per person with tax and tips. I did not like that the check is writtend Chinese only and they didn’t list dish cost individually. You definitely need a English speaker to dine here.

UYE with Shanon Y, Claudia C, Jackson Y, & Richard L! We came here to get our lamb grub on. At first when we were deciding what to order, the host came by and helped us and made suggestions. To be honest, I had no idea since they were talking in Chinese. I was just really hungry so whatever was ordered I’d eat it all. The food is good. I would have to say the lamb skewers were not that great, it was a little too dry and the flavor wasn’t as strong. I guess I will have to go back to Flushing for dollar lamb skewers: D I really enjoyed the dishes that had the noodles. My favorite lamb dish would have to be this… www.yelp.com/biz_photos/mr-lamb-restaurant-city-of-industry#1ppLcgmXaaiv7RGCQjsniQ If you’re not sure, just show them the Unilocal picture! Tip: Don’t forget to check in thru Unilocal for free yogurt! The service is good and I’m glad we got 20% off our bill so it was ten bucks each! What a steal!

The lady seemed kinda surprised that I wandered in here to eat in the first place, she seemed twice as confused when I assured her that I was at the right place and I really wanted some pig ears… SLICEDPIGEARS Kinda chewy, crunchy cartilage, kinda spicy, good stuff. BRAISEDPORKPLATE Pretty big chunks of well seasoned and cooked pork, kinda fatty but quite good. Veggies, rice and a hard boiled egg balanced the meal out quite nicely. Had leftovers for sure, good price for plenty of food. Service was great by the way, very friendly, very helpful. Don’t underestimate my love of pig though. Let’s hope they open a second location and call it Mr Pork, I volunteer to be their mascot.
