haha… yes… this sushi place is operated by Japanese, not Korean or Chinese. I enjoy eating and chatting with the friendly sushi chefs. It’s a relaxing !! I tried the toro sushi for $ 10 per order and it was very good.

Raw fish here boarders the fine line between suspect and inedible health hazard. We ordered scallops with mushroom, Cajun albacore, chirashi bowl, and mixed sashimi salad. Scallops were overcooked, rubbery, and lacking a proper sear. The Cajun albacore was ok. A bit cold from not fully thawing out and had a slight fishy taste. Chirashi bowl had a mix of low quality, crudely cut, raw fish. The salmon was chewy. Tuna grainy in texture and a pale pink color. Uni had decomposed to liquid form. They tried to hide the bad uni under one fresh piece. Disgusting. Raw fish on the sashimi salad was similarly bad. The pieces were cut clumsily and tasted spoiled. Biting into a piece yielded a 50⁄50 chance of stringy sinew. Some of the avocado had oxidized and contained large dark spots. Inedible. The raw fish poses a serious health hazard. I strongly suggest you only order cooked food. Only plus was the service. Hostess greeted us warmly and sat us promptly. Server got all the orders right and apologized when she forgot the check.
