Waffle House

The food is fine. It isn’t great. It isn’t even that good. It is consistent though. The staff at this location is great though. Always in a great mood. That makes me enjoy the food more than I normally would.

I wanted to post my recent review of the waffle house on sharon rd. I went in on 7−20−15 @ 10:30 pm, I have been to this location about 50 times over last 15 yrs., but hadn’t been in there in awhile. Saying that, I went in and there were 3 other customers, I sat down at the table, and about 5 mins later I had a worker come up and ask: are you dining in? and I got the strangest look when I walked in, Really? Well he gives me my silverware, but nothing else, not even a drink order. Thinking this was odd, I sat there for 16 mins. and still nothing (there were 2 guys working at this time) that’s all. Well, I didn’t wait any longer and left. That was the most horrible disrespectful service I have ever had at a waffle house. If the waitress (if there was one) was busy … restroom or whatever, shouldn’t someone say there will be someone with you in a min. Won’t go back to that location again. BTW … waffle house please look at your dress code, to have a worker have their pants almost down to their knees looks horrible … just saying !

When it comes to waffle houses this one sets the standard we travel a few extra miles to come to this one. My husband love waffle house waffles. We live closer to the new one on Colerain but the service there is just BAD all round BAD. If you can MISS the one on Colerain.

Just went there during second shift figured my family n I will have breakfast for dinner… WRONG!!! Grits cold omelet not done all the way thur! As when I asked can I have some better grits they said that’s all they got!!! Are you serious??? Than the servers talked so much they forget what you asked for. I am usually the patient and understanding one but today was beyond disbelief! Note to self start going to a cleaner and better Waffle House … Never again and I wasn’t even comp for the food!!!

Went to Waffle House for breakfast this morning; my first time!
I ordered a chocolate chip waffle and hash browns with mushrooms. I ordered oatmeal, but they stop making it after 10:30 which was a little disappointing (the waitress was very sweet about breaking the news to me, though). My boyfriend ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a jalapeño cheddar biscuit. I got a sprite with limited edition cherry syrup, which always makes me happy!
I thought the food was pretty average. The waffle was good, the hashbrowns and mushrooms were kind of soggy, and not as crisp as I would have liked. My boyfriend really liked his sandwich; it wasn’t super spicy, but he could taste the jalapeños.
It was super inexpensive, and the restaurant felt very lively and friendly. The people seemed to enjoy their jobs, but they didn’t let it get in the way of being courteous and efficient. It was a pretty good experience, and we may go back once more on our trip.

It’s typical Waffle House food. The omlette was really fluffy but didn’t necessarily taste like eggs. It was tasty but «interesting». The hashbrowns were perfectly crisp and delicious.

Why is there not a a Waffle House near my home. Is it wrong that I act as if Waffle House is a special treat when I am out of town? Oh Waffle House, your bacon may not be crispy, but you make a mean smothered and covered hash brown. Also, good people watching.

I always love a. Good Waffle House! Any time is breakfast time!
My favorite is a pecan waffle with home fries «scattered and covered». Good eating!

I trash talk Waffle House allot. I mean it is Waffle House. But Waffle House has consistently good food. I went here for brunch the other day and I enjoyed my eggs and hash more than I enjoyed the the steak I had at Outback the night before.
I will continue to say Waffle House, really? But I will keep saying, Yes, lets go!

Food comes quickly, and you get what you ordered.

Waffle house isn’t the best place on earth, but when I want diner food it does the job. I love their egg special with raisin toast/​apple butter and grits. Mmm. And they’re waffles really aren’t bad either.
