Cincy Steak and Lemonade certainly lives up to its name. The frozen lemonade is incredible, with fun fruit garnishes on the straw and a large variety of flavor options, if generic lemon isn’t your favorite. The fries are super tasty, too, with a really nice seasoning. No points for décor or environment, as it feels a bit like a cafeteria, but it’s great for takeout.

The best Chicken Philly(get it with everything on it) I’ve ever had. Their fries have a great seasoning too. Really good as hangover food, but also tastes great totally sober

If I could do a half-star, I’d bump it up one more. It’s not a mind-blowing eatery, but Cincy Steak and Lemonade was pretty solid. We ended up here because Goodfellas was unexpectedly closed.(Grrr, but it was okay – we got pizza the next day.) The vibe is basically slightly better than fast food – it’s definitely better than McD’s or similar, but it’s still junk food for sure. It’s counter service and the seating is limited, but we managed to get the last table. I had a cheesesteak and it was not bad at all. It wasn’t glorious or anything, but I would probably eat this semi-regularly if I lived in Cincinnati. Hubs had a burger and had no complaints. He also ate half of my fries, so those must have been pretty okay, too. Final verdict: I wouldn’t seek out this restaurant very often, but it does have a certain appeal that I would go back to.

They make up their hours every day so if you’re trying to go, don’t be surprised if they’re not open

Okay so I my doubts at first due to the service of a young lady. She was rude and seemed like she didn’t want to be there. I ordered the Philly steak combo and tells me that it didn’t come with the lemonade in which it did but instead of arguing I said okay. After she went to the back on break I guess, the atmosphere was pleasant. Another worker was very nice and helpful and he was able to give me the lemonade that came with my order! My Philly steak was super tasted awesome best one I had in awhile, it was big enough to share but ate it all myself! the fries were delicious and not overcooked or greasy which is a big plus for me. I was able to get just the plain olé lemonade which was really good. Despite the bad service from the young lady I would definitely go back.

The reason I am giving it only four stars is that I have never actually stepped foot inside the brick and mortar establishment. However I have used Unilocal and zooted to order delivery. The first time I ordered I had the bacon cheeseburger because I would be able to compare it to all the others I have had before… It was Amazing… End of story.

Four stars-all for the chicken philly! I’ve had the steak philly, gyro and beef taco as well– and well glad I tried them, but won’t again. But damn that chicken philly it raises my rating from the clutches of hell to a 4 star. Fries are alright, nice shake on them but always a little soggy.

This is a good place to get cheap fast food as late as midnight. They have a huge selection of every type of junk fast food like burgers, whole wing chicken wings, gyros, chicken sandwiches, Philly cheese steak sandwiches, sausages/hot dogs, fish sandwiches, quesadillas, tacos, nachos, chicken tenders, fries, and chicken nuggets. But as the name says they also serve steak in the form of a sandwich or as a breakfast steak and eggs. As a matter of fact they have omelettes as well and other items such as fried okra, fried mushrooms, and fried jalapenos… and salads. And don’t forget the lemonade which is like a frozen lemonade and milkshakes too. And nothing is expensive either. Cheeseburger $ 4.49, gyro $ 6.99, steak philly $ 7.99, milkshake $ 3.49. Many items for only a few dollars. I have tried the gyro, cheeseburger, fries, and milkshake. Once again this is fast food, nothing fancy, but it serves its purpose just fine. This is also a local business and not a corporate chain, more like a dive fast food place. I would rather support them than a big chain if I’m looking for junk food. The gyro was good and was pretty equivalent to most gyros that are available. The cheeseburger was fine for fast food, nothing special but not bad. The fries are good and have something that tastes like blackening spice sprinkled over them. The milkshake is a super sweet sugar explosion. I have tried the pineapple and the strawberry and like the pineapple better. But it is insanely sweet so for me I have to definitely be in the mood for some junk food I’m order to eat it. But I do like it and it had chunks of fruit in it. I usually stop in here not long before midnight and I’m sure I will continue to stop in when looking for that late night fast food meal.

You can never go wrong with getting Steak & Lemonade while you’re in Clifton. The staff is friendly & fast and although it may not look like much, the food is real good too. I always get the fried chicken combo. It comes with 6 wings, a side of fries, a big piece of garlic toast, & of course, the lemonade! All for less the 9 bucks. Definitely a dive.

A very good urban eatery. The combos include fries and any flavored lemonade you desire. Burgers, gyros, burger-gyros, phillies, chicken sandwiches. I’ve been thrice and won’t hesitate in the future. Quite a no-frills destination, but it’s what you want, when you want it. Not healthy, not trendy, only 4 tables, but it hits the spot when you’re in that mood. Phillies are darn good, and the gyro-burger has thick-cut gyro meat and does the trick. Don’t go here to impress out-of-towners, but go here to nurse a hangover and get a pretty decent sandwich, fries, and flavored lemonade. Many flavors to choose from.

This is not diet food! This is such a greasy spoon, but I don’t think anybody comes here counting calories. The portions are enormous and cooked to order. You’ll always receive hot, fresh food. Nothing bad to say, highly recommend.

Whenever I’m in Clifton Cincy Steak & Lemonade is a legitimate option for food. This small, unassuming eatery offers a smörgåsbord of food items. Burgers, gyros, wings, grilled cheese, fries. You name it and they have it. CS&L is awesome because everything they make, they make to order. This means you’ll be waiting a little bit for your order but also that your food will be hot and fresh off of the grill. Everything here is really, really good. I usually go for a basic hamburger(which comes with Cajun seasoned fries) and I’m always full. The value of this place is awesome. About five bucks for anything on the menu. One of the best parts about this place are the shakes and frozen lemonades. They are absolutely delicious and round out any meal or snack. I highly recommend ordering one with whatever you get or even just by itself. Don’t let the neon lights and rough around the edges building fool you. This is one awesome place to fill your bellies.

How have I not reviewed this place! Blasphemy! Not only is this a notorious UC hangover cure, but their food is actually phenomenal sober. Back in the day Justin and I would go and spilt one chicken sandwich and one cheeseburger because we could never choose which was better. They both come with cajun fries. One of the few places that have thick fries! WIN! And the meal also comes with a giant frozen lemonade which we would take down on the walk home. I can’t express how delicious this place is. They cook everything fresh and pretty much right there in front of you. You might have to wait a few minutes but I would gladly wait in line for the food here. Packed with flavor, never dry. This place is a must, but try not to get addicted. The only reason to drop a star, I would never eat in here. It’s bright colored yellow and very loud inside.

Cincy Steak &NO Lemonade. DO: –Any sandwich will come with fries! –Italian beef. A lot of meat for the price. –I really like soft, slightly soggy fries, so I would recommend that(call me crazy). –The fries are lightly seasoned(somewhat like Cajun style) DON’T: –Skip the lemonade, unless you enjoy syrupy drinks. PARKING: –Street parking. Might be tough during school the year. Let me open this up by saying I’m a huge, like huge, italian beef and philly cheesesteak fan. Having been to Chicago and Philly numerous times, I cannot help but to love these iconic sammys. First, the Italian beef is extremely large. At first I thought it was the bread, but the serving of meat was equally monsterous. Up in Chicago land, you have the option to dip the sammy in the beef broth, but here it will always come semi-dipped due to the meat juice(the soggy bread is definitely a part of the full experience, so give it a try). The sammy is topped with giardiniera hot peppers. These little suckers will quickly build up in spiciness, so watch out. It’s not perfect, but it was close enough to the real thing. The second sammy is the cheesesteak with everything except mayo. By everything I mean: tomato, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, lettuce, and white cheese(idk the exact type of cheese). When it comes to cheesesteaks, I’m a purist: bread, steak, and cheese whiz. That’s all I need, but here they do it a bit differently. The green peppers, mushrooms, and onions are chopped up and mixed in with the meat. Then it is topped with lettuce and tomato. And somewhere between all of that is the cheese. The overall flavor is very different from the original philly cheesesteak, so keep that in mind. They also have gyros, chicken nuggets, chicken strips, cheese burgers, and super tacos stuffed with fries. Just skip the lemonade. $ 8.99 for sammy+lemonade+fries. $ 6.99 for sammy+fries.

Walking into Cincy Steak & Lemonade feels like walking into a NYC late night eatery. You’ll find neon signs on the window announcing what you can get inside(«Milkshakes! Lemonade!»), white tile floors, white walls with signed pictures of unknown celebrities who had been to the place tacked up on the walls and a bunch of quick talking and quick working employees behind the counter. Basically it’s a dive, but what a dive! They don’t lie in their name — they do steak and they do lemonade. There’s a giant board above the counter listing all the food they do from burgers to sandwiches to chicken wings to chicken tenders and even a «Super Taco,» whatever that is. To your right are the flavors of milkshakes and lemonade they make, which include really awesome flavors like pineapple milkshake or mix-in combos of lemonade. Pretty damn fantastic. I went up and asked the guy behind the counter what’s the best lemonade. He hands me a pre-made strawberry/pineapple lemonade that was sitting on the counter: «This,» he says. «Really?» I ask. «You’re not just giving it to me because you already made it.» «No, I made it for a friend but I’ll make her another. I promise, it’s great,» he said. A little sketchy but so is the place(just a little) so I went with it. And you know what, it was great! A delicious combination. The milkshakes($ 3.50) and lemonade($ 2.50, damn good pricing), come in plastic containers and are giant! The employees then put plastic wrap over the top and around the straw, so you can take it to go without spilling! Brilliant! They even include a garnish on top, like an orange for the fruit lemonade or an Oreo Cookie for the Oreo Cookies milkshake! Brilliant again! Cincy Steak & Lemonade is down the block from Bogart’s and across the street from the amazing Dive Bar(also work checking out). I love it and will be back for sure. It’s just that awesome.

Don’t let their name fool ya, their«milkshake brought this boy to the yard» and it was great. And they did charge me, ha ha. This place is situated on the same side as Bogart’s and you can see the neon in the windows long before you step inside and smell the mix of gyro meat and other yummy stuff. I wish I hadn’t eaten dinner before I visited, but I still had room for a shake; at least I thought, cuz geesh, they are pretty large. No need for supersizing. My Pineapple shake($ 3.50) came wrapped in plastic wrap with an orange slice and cherry through the straw. Neat! The pineapple flavor was nice and light as I expected. I quickly slurped it down wishing I would have saved some for later. The bench seats aren’t the most comfortable but you’ll probably be on your way long before you notice. Their menus stated that they would soon be open 24 hours, so this place might be great afterparty spot post Bogart’s concert. *In the Bearcash coupon magazine, there’s a coupon for free fries with any sandwich purchase. You can also print it out from *Delivery available to local hospitals, $ 25 minimum order.
