This place has history. no doubt… and it is really cool inside. They have a lot to offer and a huge variety at that. I like to stroll through here now and again. But. I have to say. the mark up in here is a little high. no pun intended. compared to other places. But it is still a cool store.

Being from California and having EVERY sort of shop on every corner I was relieved when I found the cupboard the staff were friendly. I purchased a beautiful hand blown glass bong about a foot and a half tall. I was expecting it to be about $ 100, I was blown away when I realized their prices were so low. I paid $ 45 for it, the staff there are also great at informing you of cool new things or products that came out, I recommend getting the honey comb screens they just came out maybe a month ago I’m not sure but they’re amazing! The prices the staff and the location is perfect expect the dirty sex store next door that reeked of cigarettes lol

I am from out of town. I read several reviews about shops like this in the area, and found a couple that seemed to be having a «review war» where the owners were putting bad reviews on their competitions listing and good reviews on their own… Didn’t want to shop at either of these places.
Went to the Cupboard, was treated nice, and when I mentioned the reviews I read, they were very professional and said little about the other shops. I found exactly what I wanted, right up front, and was in and out.
There were a lot of people (some that looked rather undesirable) loitering out front in the parking area… that was a little unnerving, but good experience overall (even though it was quick).

Hmmm… the Cupboard. A Clifton institution at its finest. And I think that probably says something about Clifton.
You can buy just about anything here that you’d preferred others didn’t know about. Toys (not the kiddie kind), pipes (the tobacco kind **wink, wink**), and clothing (the streetwalker kind). I’m a pretty worldly gal, but invariably I find something here that makes me blush.
The Cupboard has a variety of tobacco products, the most interesting I’ve seen were called simply «Death» cigarettes and were emblazoned with a skeleton. Gotta love the truth in advertising!

The short vine shopping district can be a little seedy at some times, but if you go during the day, it can be quite enjoyable. Located only a few doors down from Bogart’s is the Cupboard.
The Cupboard has all of your tobacco pipe, smoking utilities, and sex toy needs. Their selection of glass pipes is pretty extensive. They have at least 3 counters filled with them. The Cupboard also has a good deal of jewelry and accessories for flower child in anyone.
Towards the back of the store, you can find adult greeting cards, and a good amount of sex toys. The selection isn’t as good as if you were going to a store that only sold toys, but they still have a decent amount of stuff.
The employees are really good at checking I.D.s for anyone who comes in the store, even if you look old enough, so don’t forget your I.D.!!
