While I tend to frequent the Hyde Park branch, but this Clifton Which Which also makes a good Which. It is smaller and a bit off the beaten path for me. You may struggle to find parking but I suggest coming on off hours. A tad busy at high noon. The folks working there seem a bit less interested than at the Hyde park branch– but they get the job done. The process is easy– you grab a bag at the front and check everything you want in sharpie. Be sure to breath in the sweet smell of the sharpie. Careful to not accidentally mark the tip of your nose(that is a hard learned lesson). Hand in your bag, pay and wait for the sandwich to be made. I prefer this to the subway model of having every diseased idiot slowly shout their order over a sneeze guard. The ingredients are fresh and the sandwich is good every time. The 7″ is plenty for lunch. If you are eating more than that in one sitting you need to rethink your lifestyle. Enjoy.

Grab a brown bag and mark down what toppings you want. That’s how you order. The staff there realized that it was my first time and stepped out of the line and helped me. How nice. Maybe I was just really hungry, but my vegetarian sandwich was really good! For 5.50, it was definitely a decent size sandwich! Their black bean patty was well seasoned, and their wheat bread is the best! Crispy on the outside but not chewy, I really liked it. My bf got the roasted beef. I really liked that one too! He got a large and ate it all. And dude, that sandwich huge. Parking wasn’t bad at all. Meters are quite cheap too like 50 cents for 30 minutes or something like that. Really good place for lunch. Definitely worth the try and will come back.

I’ve eaten here many times and it was consistently clean and the food is fresh. Don’t expect the speed you may find at other sandwich shops(i suggest ordering online if you’re in a hurry). They have a wider selection of toppings, meats and preparations than their counterparts and the 7in small is a game changer. They also carry coke products and have a $ 2 large that comes in a reusable plastic cup(only $ 1 for refills on another visit).

I come to which which often and it’s awesome. It is like a subway where you can pick whatever you want, but it is better quality ingredients. You can just tell. When you walk in you fill out the paper(see picture) and that’s how they know what you want. If it’s busy it might take 10 minutes so if you’re in a hurry I would order online. If it’s not busy then it’s super quick. They have tons of options(even a bowl, if you don’t want bread) and added extras such as hummus. If you’re craving a sub I would definitely give this place a try. Great quality ingredient options and good service(today they forgot about my online order because it was a little busy and were super apologetic/made mine before everyone else’s — that’s what I’m talking about). Check out the picture for all your options! Ps it’s also modern inside and they have cool cups which is always a plus. If you buy a big plastic reusable cup, you can bring it back any time and refill it for $ 1.

I’ve ordered a Wich from them several times. A few moderately bad experiences where their app malfunctioned and charged me twice(the store manager gave me a second Wich next time though) and one time where I had to wait extra time when they didn’t have my pick up order ready by the guaranteed time(they gave me a free lemonade for the wait); once they put onions in my order accidentally but when I came back, they gave me a refund, and one time when I ordered a hotwich but got a cold Wich instead(but I was so hungry I ended up heating it in the microwave). Other than these experiences, all my countless other experiences with this place have been awesome! They have ample seating! Their black bean patties are AMAZING(but wish they were vegan)!! The hummus spread is super yummy! I like the option of making your bread skinny. Love the fresh veggie options! Wish they had vegan cheese or mayo though, but I’ve learned to only order the hummus or tomato and avocado Wiches(still need info on whether their breads are vegan or contain honey), both of which are heavenly! The house chips are vegan and yummy! Healthy eating options and usually quick service! Way better than Subway or Quiznos for sure! Love this place!

Which Wich is a place you only want to eat at during the day. My coworkers and I frequently go there for lunch and during the day, the sandwiches are great. I love the artichoke sandwich served hot and cold and the service is always top notch even when they’re slammed. Unfortunately I have now learned never to eat there after 8pm. Last night I got mild food poisoning from what I suspect was from eating veggies that sat out for hours. My boyfriends sandwich was even worse– the meat looked and tasted like it’d been sitting out for hours under a heat lamp and he couldn’t even eat it. The sandwiches made subway subs look gourmet. Point is, it is really important to use fresh ingredients even an hour before a place closes. I don’t think I’ll go back there for awhile.

I feel so bad for the staff here. Management is completely lacking and there wasn’t even a manager there when we attempted to eat at this location today. The place was only staffed with 2 workers at noon, for it being a sandwich place the manager should have some brain to staff more appropriately. We waited 30+ minutes for one hot and one cold sandwich which was a lettuce wrap. Mine the lettuce had to be remade because it wasn’t made correctly and after receiving the remake it still wasn’t right. After being here for 45+ minutes and still no correct sandwich I gave up and asked for a refund. One guy had no idea how to do a refund and there was no manager on site. Luckily a nice girl refunded our meal, if I were these employees I would walk out and go work for another location. We ended up walking down to Taste of Belgium for lunch.

I ate here once, but didn’t feel the need to go back. Their sub-style sandwiches aren’t anything better than your average sub sandwich shop, but I do appreciate the uniqueness of how the food is ordered. You walk in, grab a brown paper bag that enables you to select all your sandwich customizations, pay, then they’ll hang your back on a little zip line that makes its way down the assembly line and then is used to bag your finished sandwich. It’s a decent place for a quick lunch, but since there’s only metered parking nearby, it’s not at an accessable spot.

Came to Which Wich on the recommendation of a friend who works in the area. When I walked in, it was a bit confusing at first but I quickly caught on with the custom ordering method(writing out your order on a paper bag). Interesting concept… Wasn’t too busy on a Tuesday at noon, which was great. About five minutes after I ordered, a couple guys sitting next to me told me they’d been waiting FORTY minutes for their subs. That’s right, 40 minutes. Ugh, so I walked outside to feed the parking meter… When I came back these two heroes were warning every potential customer that walked in the door. It was an inspiration! Anyway, I was a lucky one and received my sub in 32 minutes exactly. Now inevitably, any sub place will always be compared to Subway, so here’s my take: I paid twice as much for a sandwich that was almost twice as good and the preparation took about 10 times as long. There’s a problem here when I need to feed a parking meter in order to get a sub sandwich. Maybe there was a huge carry out order, maybe a bunch of catering going on, I don’t know… But what really steamed me was that there was no apology for the long wait, just a «here’s your muffuletta». It was a good muffuletta, but come on. I guess I’d try it again, because I think the place has good potential if they can work out the customer service.

When my boyfriend wanted to come to Which Wich, I was like«Why would you want to overpay for something you could easily get at Subway?» Was I ever, so wrong. The way that it works is that when you enter you grab a brown bag depending on what protein you want, and then you grab a sharpie and check off what you want. Then you bring it to the counter, order any drinks you want with it, and then pay up. They have a punchcard rewards program which gives you a free sandwich if you come here enough. This place is kind of expensive, so you def want the card if you’re a subbie. The best things about this place is the fact that they have dried cranberries and candied walnuts. They’re so freaking good on a sandwich – you’ve got to try it. They don’t skimp on anything, which is another total plus. Dieters can come here guiltfree – they have a Skinny My Wich option(they remove part of the bun on the inside to get rid of what the website states as «50 calories») or you could get a Lettucewich(the obviously better alternative). The location itself is well maintained, but out of the multiple times I’ve been here, service is somewhat slow. One time, they forgot to make a shake that I ordered, but otherwise, the staff here has been super friendly and efficient. It’s okay waiting though – they have cool wooden games on the table. Just a note for management though… please stop putting out red sharpies. In some cultures, like mine, writing someone’s name in red ink is like a death sentence. I always look for blue sharpies but they’re either always out of ink or never there. tl;dr yummy sandwiches. cranberries + walnuts good. please no red pens, i don’t want to die.

It’s just OK. The subs are always good and consistent, but nothing over the top It’s a nice looking place and the employees are always very nice. There are just so many other options in Clifton for subs, and I feel like this place doesn’t do much to separate.

If you know the daily $ 5 footlong for each day of the week off-hand and your taste buds have come to recognize that all Subway subs are just twins with different names, you and I have something in common. You’re not gonna get away with paying $ 5 for a footlong here, but you won’t need that needlessly long thing. A small or a medium would do because they don’t skimp on the ingredients here and you’ll have your fill. I’m glad I don’t have to be chained down to Subway anymore. They’re everywhere. It’s like they’re watching me around every block, whispering $ 5 in my ear and screaming at my emaciated wallet. Thank you Which Wich, my subvior. So clever.

Like others have said, the concept and set up is pretty cool with you writing down what you want. My issue was the price. When I was in there I saw no prices list and a medium sandwich(cordon blue) and large pineapple milkshake to eat in was 15 bucks. The food was nothing you couldn’t get up the street at Potbelly who have awesome cookies and lower prices. Which wich? The answer should be Potbelly

I have visited Which Wich several times and the food is great and staff is friendly but the wait time is disappointing. I have to say the last visit was a little better but the times before that were so frustrating. They have a great selection of sandwich choices and you select exactly how you want them to make your sandwich. They even have Cheez Wiz as a selection which I had to chuckle at. If you like to build unique sandwiches def. should check this place out.

I LOVE that this end of Short Vine is starting to come alive! The concept for Which Wich is that you pick up a paper bag that has some sandwich fixings on it and you check off the options you want. Most of the options are included in the original price so that’s great! Right now I’m giving this place a 3 star«A-OK» rating because I think it has lots of room for improvement. Right now the BIGGEST area of improvement is speed of sandwich making. Be prepared for a bit of wait no matter how full or empty the place is. It also doesn’t seem to matter if you get a cold or hot sandwich, it still takes a while either way. The food is tasty though! Great location! They are new so once they get the hang of it and improve their speed they will move up to a solid 4 star rating!

Whoever keeps telling business owners to open sub places in Clifton… STOPIT! I digress. Which Wich is pretty cool. It has the most menu options of any other sandwich place, and the ordering system is pretty cool. You write on your bag with a sharpie and they sling it down the line. Inside, it has a really neat vibe(one of the franchise’s core values). Very clean, nice set up. They also have a lot of options for those who don’t want the bread — you can get a «lettuce wich» or a bowl, which is a cool feature that not a lot of other sub places have. I get the«turkey wich», with different toppings every time, and it doesn’t really blow me away. I’ve definitely had better. But, I still go, because I like the place and the staff is really friendly. Also, the milkshakes are good. Beware! No parking lot.

I stopped into Which Wich on the way home from work last night, to take home some dinner for my boyfriend and me. First of all, I love that they have to option to order online ahead of time, so that you can avoid waiting in line once you get there. I ordered at about 5:05pm, and when I arrived at 5:20 I could see our sandwiches coming out of the oven. The employees are very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is fun. I ordered a regular Hummus sandwich on wheat bread(toasted) with avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper($ 5.50 for the sandwich, plus $ 1.00 extra for the avocado). My boyfriend got the regular Wicked on wheat bread(toasted) with provolone, dijon mustard, mayonnaise, red onions, lettuce, pickles, banana peppers, and black olives($ 6.50). My sandwich was awesome — probably the best hummus/veggie sandwiches I’ve ever had. I will DEFINITELY be back for that one. My boyfriend said that his sandwich was great, and asked about other Which Wich locations — when I told him that there is one on Montgomery, less than 5 minutes from where he works, he got really excited about having the option to go there for lunch. In the end, we got really good sandwiches for the two of us for $ 13, along with the convenience of being able to order online and pick it up, and great service. I will definitely be back.

Love this place! I’m a low carber and love that you can get their sandwiches as salads — and can even choose to make it spinach. Their items aren’t the cheapest in the world($ 6.25 for regular sandwiches), but there are so many options and the quality is good. Milkshakes are hand-dipped =) The staff is really friendly and helpful. They asked everyone who came in whether it was their first time — as you have to write your order down. They have nice touches like newspapers hanging up you can read while you wait. This is within walking distance of my office, and I will be heading there frequently for lunch.
