By far the worst pizza experience I’ve ever had in Cincinnati. The place is trashed, and the staff have. I idea what they are doing. Didn’t have menus to order from or had any idea what was on the menu. I walked out. Every word out of the employees mouth was mutha f$?ker, n this, n that mutha f$/ker

I have been trying to like this Domino’s location for the last 6 years and I’ve finally accepted that it’s just not happening. And normally I’m not a complaining customer, I’ll put up with a lot, but I’ve finally had enough. My most recent order, all the toppings and cheese on the pizza had slid to one side and half of the dough was raw. The time before that, we ordered late night and the manager called us back and said their store was closed. Granted, it was late at night, but their store was open for another half hour and the website said they accepted orders right up until closing time. We told her that and she asked us to cancel our order. We asked if she was canceling our order, and said that no, we had to do it, and then hung up. We did finally get our pizza but the manager made it clear our order shouldn’t had been placed. And the worst, the time before that, their pizza tracker had said that our pizza had been out for delivery for a solid hour. We called the store and(same manager) said that the driver had called us but we hadn’t answered. We assured her that no, we hadn’t received a phone call, and she started calling us liars and telling us that our pizza was back at the store and cold since the driver couldn’t deliver it. Whatever, that’s fine, we just asked if they could make it again and deliver it. She told us that we had received a call so they wouldn’t remake it, they would try to deliver it again though. The driver finally got to our house and he apologized profusely, telling us that he had the wrong number for us and he had told the manager that but apparently she just didn’t care. So we were left paying full price for cold pizza 2 hours after we had ordered it, and we were called liars. Awesome.

ALWAYS consistent & always amazing. If you haven’t tried their thin crust, order it. It’s perfect.

The website took my order, charged my credit card, only to receive a phone call later telling me that my order is cancelled and they are not going to deliver anything because they have no delivery driver as he went home already.

Ordered online, projected time was 12−17min. Pizza tracker said my order was ready for pick-up after about 15. I came to the store(pre-paid) and stood waiting on my pizza for 15min+… Still waiting.

$ 7.99 large pizzas Monday-Thursday! Reasons why you should order carryout or delivery pizza from Domino’s: –the deal mentioned above –this location looks very clean –staff are helpful and organized(it feels weird to call a pizza place organized, but that’s what came to mind as I was waiting for my carryout pizza) –inexpensive –and most importantly, they have some darn good pizza I know, I too like to support local businesses and organizations in the community, but if you’re looking for some reliable, delicious pizza, you have to give Domino’s a call. I ordered four pizzas for a party for my clients, and everyone really enjoyed themselves and the food.(They have some seasoning on their crust that is fire!) So go ahead, give this chain a try!

Last time I ordered pizza here, it was the most confusing and almost frustrating experience ever. First of all, we all know the location is not the most«savory». I was over at Aladdin’s for hookah the night I called for carry-out, and thought it would be reasonable to walk next door — literally 100 ft away — to grab the pizza and go. However, that proved to be a silly expectation, because when I left Aladdin’s I immediately heard a bunch of guys yelling at each other, and on a closer look I realized there was some kind of fistfight going on right in front of the store. My friend and I actually debated whether or not we should go for it, but being that we are 2 less-than-swoll women and I haven’t been benching as much as usual lately, we opted for delivery. Sooo I called to switch to delivery, and found out that the person who took my order and specifically asked whether I wanted banana peppers or green peppers(and I wanted green, who the hell wants banana peppers on a pizza? crazies) had messed it up and put them on there. When I told the lady, she sounded annoyed but said they’d fix it and send the pizza over. The guy made it to my place in a timely fashion. However, he was also more annoyed than he should have been when he found out I didn’t have cash. «ALL places that take credit card require you to give your number over the phone,» he told me not once, but twice, even though I produced the cash for him in a couple minutes. Also, that’s total bs, and annoyed phone lady hadn’t asked me for my Visa number… so tell me again how that’s my problem. Okay. So the lameness ended here, right? Of course not. When we opened our pizza, we found it to be lukewarm/cold and with yellow imprints of disgusting banana peppers on it… and uncooked bell peppers in their place. My friend decided to call the manager, and thankfully they cared enough to put an extra pizza on my account for our next order. And that is the ONLY reason this place gets 3 stars.

Just not very good. It is hard to really put much effort into a review when your experiences aren’t great. Dominoes was one of only two pizza places in my hometown and it was kind of the only option so I ate it often. At the time it was pretty good. It was cheap, obviously, and the dough represented the price. Not flavorful, kind of flat and floury. They always had deals, which makes it hard to pass up if you are a poor college student but I would much rather go elsewhere if I am going to satisfy my pizza needs. I feel like the Tony’s pizza sold at Kroger may be better than here. They do have some good oven roasted hoagies, the buffalo bleu cheese chicken one to be specific. I can, however, get this at any other sandwich shop, including subway. There really isn’t anything special to say about Domino’s. I can say that is better than most pizza chains, but that isn’t saying too much, really. They offer the same things as other places like Larosa’s and Papa Johns. I’ve ran out of things to say about Domino’s. It is what it is I guess, which is a chain offering cheap food with food that represents the price tag. Go there if you want, it’s not the worst, but it is without a doubt not the best.

(I’m writing this review in relation to other Domino’s locations — not as a general comparison to most restaurants.) This Domino’s location has to be one of the better run establishments I’ve crossed with the company. I have to be honest, some of the staff creep me out a little, and this Domino’s does service a large chunk of low-income Cincinnati, but it is also a staple of the university community. Hands down, this Domino’s has better deals than 99% of Domino’s in the country. Look online for coupons, but if you live nearby, it is not a bad idea to check out the store as well. Constantly they have signs plastered on its walls with deals that will blow your mind. Tonight’s deal — 3 topping large pizza for $ 9.99.(At one point, they had a 5 topping large for the same price.) As far as food quality for Domino’s — this is the store that got me back into ordering from the company. Normally I like my pizza fresh and high quality — but for the price, I am willing to compromise a little. Of the 20 or so pizzas I’ve devoured here, there has only been one where the experience was not so good. Simply put, I ordered a pepperoni and hamburg(beef) pizza. I got to the store to pick it up and the cook told me to «wait a moment» as I saw her put my pizza back into the oven. Now — me as a former pizzeria employee myself, knows that means one of two things. A) The pizza was undercooked — or — B) They forgot a topping. Well, it turns out they forgot my beef. How do I know? Well, the beef was rolling off the top of my pizza, meaning it did not melt with the cheese. I, myself, have tried to pull this magical Houdini act of changing a pepperoni pizza into a 2 or more topping pizza. It doesn’t work and I was not fooled — nor was I happy. However, that’s one bad experience with the pizzas. Moving on, their cheesy bread and cinnastix are always good. From experience however, I advise to stay away from the steak hoagies and the boneless chicken. The steak in the hoagies just taste full of preservatives and of very low quality. There’s a reason they can sell 2 for 10 dollars! Second, the boneless chicken was just a little fatty and with sizes of the chicken ranging from humongous to miniscule, you could really hit or miss being gypped or getting a great deal. These problems however are more Domino’s wide — and not just at this locale. For the most part, despite the building being in a less than ideal location(and in a building that’s not really in that great of shape), the contents it provides certainly performs with the high tiers of the corporation at a budget. If your wallet is hurting and you’re dying for some pizza that won’t suck — check out the Vine St. Domino’s. It’s usually worth it. Final tip: Delivery at this location is NOTFREE.
