The food is good, but the guy at the counter needs to go. I thought the first time he was having a bad day and let it go, but subsequent trips have proven he’s just surly and doesn’t want to be there 100% of the time.

I’m so sad I have to give a 1 star but… There was a fingernail in my burrito and a hair in my friend’s coffee. Which sucks because the coffee was really good, burrito was huge but nothing spectacular. Explore at your own risk.

A co-worker and I had lunch at Café Condesa on a Wednesday. When we first arrived, there were no seats available, but one opened up as we were waiting. I was there probably a half hour, and it seemed like there was always someone in line, so the Café was doing a pretty good business. The menu is not large, primarily sandwiches and burritos. I went with the chorizo torta, which comes with guac, veggies, mayo, cheese, and house made chorizo. My buddy went with the pork burrito. After ordering, you sit down and they call the orders out. We hadn’t been seated 2 minutes and my buddy’s order was ready. It was incredibly fast, we weren’t sure it was his order at first. This burrito was enormous. It was packed full, he had to finish it with a fork because it fell apart about half way through lunch. My sandwich took about 7 – 8 minutes. It appears large when looking at the top of the sandwich, but when you look at the ingredients, it’s at least 60% bread, if not more. The chorizo is very flavorful, but I could have used more heat. That said, it was good sausage. But, there wasn’t very much of it. In fact, there was so little, I abandoned half of the bread and finished it like a makeshift taco rather than a sandwich. The veggies were fine, they were fresh and crunchy. I could have used more heat in the guac, I didn’t detect any peppers. I’ll use some hot sauce next time. That said, my main issue with this sandwich was the bread to ingredient ratio. I will return to Café Condesa, I’ll just be getting a burrito next time.

Great coffee my boyfriend isn’t from here but when he comes and visits it’s a must that we go! Really wish they were open on the weekends! Food is great!

Nice little sandwich place located downtown connected to the metropolitan library. Stopped in to try the new place and really enjoyed it! Mom got the cuban and I got the chorizo torta. Mine was great but I really urge you to stick with the classic cuban. We went halfsies, but mom was mad she couldn’t have her whole cuban. Inside isn’t super appealing, but they know what they are doing her. Great lunch spot for those who work downtown!

When I heard Café Kacao was opening up a shop downtown, I was already excited. I finally had a chance to check them out and I was not disappointed. The torta I ordered was fantastic and full of flavor! I cannot wait to come back and try more of the different torta options available.

Excellent coffee, great burritos, delish tortas, and the occasional cronut. Need I say more. Check em out for lunch or breakfast.

Smooth and delicious coffee. Tried horchatta latte and cubano. Nutella latte is next. Really impressed with the espresso beverages.

Café Condesa opened Downtown just a few weeks ago, and it is already a big hit! As a sister restaurant to Café Kacao, Café Condesa had big shoes to fill. While the menu is almost completely different, one thing that remains the same is the delicious coffee. The Mexican cold brew is my newest guilty pleasure combining strong brewed coffee, vanilla and cinnamon. They serve a variety of Latin-inspired sandwiches and burritos. I’ve tried the chicken burrito and Cuban burrito without the tortilla on a bed of lettuce. Both burritos are delicious, and I love the sauces that come with them. This is a great spot for people who work Downtown to come in for a quick coffee to go or lunch.

Just got a chance to try this place this morning to catch a quick bite before work. Perfect location for me, right next door to the OKC Metro library. Tried a beef sausage breakfast burrito. Would’ve liked a little more sausage as opposed to black beans, but for the price it was great. $ 4.95 for a full size burrito is awesome! Will definitely go back, and try some of the latte drinks they have. Fiancée has been touting this place for a while and glad I finally got a chance to give a whirl!

Café Condessa is the sister place of Café Kacao, but since it’s located in the downtown library, their selections are limited. So don’t expect rancheros huevos here haha. They only have breakfast burritos and tortas(sandwiches). I really like their coffee selections and the prices are more affordable than other coffee shops, most of the coffees at Condessa are around 3.50. I got the Cubano sandwich($ 8), I heard its quite popular at Kacao so I ordered it with a horchata latte. The horchata latte is so strong, I thought they put liquor in it hahaha, anyway its really good! Next was the Cubano sandwich, I had to wait like 15 min for that one even though the place wasn’t packed. I was like this sandwich better be good haha, and it was! It comes with slow roasted pork, ham, swiss cheese, pickles, mayo, & mustard. I don’t like mustard in my sandwiches but holy lord this one was spot on. My friend order the green tea latte and I ask her if it was better than All About Cha’s and she said it was definitely much better. She also order a cronut, but she said it was quite stale. Anyway, I would definitely came back and try more of their coffees like the nutella and chai latte! and that Cubano sandwich. I feel bad that I didn’t took photos, I was just really hungry after waiting for that sandwich to be made so I didn’t bother to take a pic of the torta ahha.
