The food here was great and the portions are generous. The staff is also very nice and accommodating. This is one of the very few places where I’ve been able to find bun bo hue, and wow this restaurant cooks it right. The bbq pork and spring rolls were amazing too. I’ve only been here once, but so far this place is batting a 1.000 in terms of food.

Hello to my new favorite Phở spot in the 909! While searching for some soup based hot meal that wasn’t ramen, my girlfriend and I discovered this GRAND Phở restaurant. It sits in a large plaza filled with tons of shopping and restaurants. Unbeknownst to most people shopping here, lays the best value in Phở and quite possibly the best tasting Phở in the 909 area code. The Dac Biet is my goto dish and comes with the whole shebang. The meat portion was G-E-N-E-R-O-U-S and ordering the regular size bowl is probably enough for 2 people to share. I really liked the taste of their broth and hey it probably has some MSG… but what doesn’t! Live a little!!! I really want to try their Rice and other dishes but its not called Rice Grand or other dishes Grand so… I will stick to the Phở… for now at least. Overall doe, if you are looking to save some dough and fill up your stomach then Phở Grand is without a doubt the place to go… though…actually no other thoughts… Go give this place a try!

Been too long since having Phở. Stopped in for lunch with a coworker on Friday afternoon. Right before I entered I noticed the«B» rating posted. I was frozen in time for a moment. I had to debate with myself and then with my coworker if this was the right choice. I thought B is not so bad, I remember that junior year in college where I slacked off a bit too much and got a B in my biochemistry class and I turned out ok(at least I think I did). I sucked it up and decided to march on in and handle this bad boy. Place wasn’t that busy. Plenty of open tables and very clean inside. We were seated immediately and given menus. User friendly menus(that means pictures, sorry I’m a color by numbers guy). Ordered the shrimp and pork spring rolls. They were very tasty. I had the beef soup combo, I believe it was number 6. I ordered the regular and it was way too much food. I noticed a kid next to me tear one of those bowls up. I ate all of the meat and some of the noodles. I wanted to try one of the sandwiches. I planned on splitting it with coworker but it was not that great so I just picked the pork out of it. The bread was not that good either. I am comparing to Lee’s Sandwiches and the one here did not come close. Basically it was a waste of $ 4 but most importantly a waste of calories. Service was excellent. The gentleman who took care of us was super nice. He even offered us free drinks because it was our first time there(and I did not ask if there was a check in deal he was being kind). I went with the soft drink. I thought it was a cool spot. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. There are a few more things I would like to try on the menu. Be forewarned that the parking lot gets super packed around meal times. Happy eating!

This is one of my two Vietnamese restaurant that I frequent with my family that’s close to us. We usually get gi cun– fresh spring rolls with shrimp with peanut dipping sauce($ 5.75) and I usually get a small phở bo vien($ 6.75) and both were really tasty and fresh. I also get soda chanh which is just lime juice and soda($ 3.50) and they had a free Thai tea when they first opened. They have a large amount of entrees to choose from, they have chao tom which is shrimp paste on pieces of sugarcane which is an appetizer I rarely see but love to get in restaurants but I didn’t try their version yet. The staff is nice and attentive; the place is clean. They have plenty of tables though they can get packed. They take card and are located next to Jollibee and Starbucks.

Best phở place in the area! Husband and I have dined here at least 5x since they’ve opened. Each visit has been consistent. Fast service, delicious food. Prices are reasonable and I’m not in an msg coma after. Our usual is #6(combo phở) and #20(seafood phở), for $ 15. We’ve had the fried egg rolls, the spring rolls, and grilled pork with vermicelli noodles too. Fresh tasting and good sized portions. Each time we’ve gone, the place tends to be at least half full. There’s a flow of people ordering to-go or picking up phone orders. If want to leave a tip on your credit card, you have to designate the amount before they swipe your card. Or, jist leave a cash tip. Parking can suck, since it’s right next to Starbucks and a few other food places.

A 3.5 rounded up because the facilities are nice and clean and service is great! The lost stars come from the quality of the food. The broth is okay, the noodles somewhat hard, and the meat is a bit chewy. On the up side, there are tons of delicious thinly sliced onions(which I normally always get extra of) and the servings are HUGE. I wanted to get a large, but my server recommended against it, which is rightfully so. Their regular is very much a large anywhere else. I also ordered 2 fried egg rolls, which they graciously let me order even though it’s listed for 5 in the menu. The egg rolls were fantastic, if one forgives the bone I found in one. But I do forgive it, as they were then given to me for free for the misstep. That’s great customer service! For the service, clean space, and huge servings, definitely give this place a try!

When I first saw this phở place, I thought boooo the Hong Kong Express is gone. But I’m down for another phở place! The service here is so-so. The 2 times I’ve gone, we went almost to closing time. They close at 10, and we got there around 9:30. I mean, I get that you want to leave… But hovering over us when choosing what to eat is a bit much. The food is good. Not great, but good. The soup could be more flavorful. Not sure if they cook the soup base the right way… Using the bones. All the vegetables were fresh! I would definitely go back if I have that late night phở craving since the other phở places in Chino Hills close at 9pm.

This location used to be my favorite Chinese Wok in the area. I’m glad to report what replaced them is a great Phở restaurant. My family and I have been going to California Noodle and Grill just down the street from this place for quite some time now. After trying this place, it looks like this will be my new Phở spot when I’m in the area. You walk in and the inside is so bright and colorful it makes you feel like you’re in a environmental friendly place. I usually get the Phở Combination and sub the tripe with extra of a different meat. I like the fact that the noodles are pre cut and are not super long. I like to put some noodles on my ramen spoon, broth, a piece of meat, sauce and then eat it. It’s like I get a whole spicy mini meal in my mouth per bite. I don’t have to lift the noodles way in the air with my chopsticks to separate them any longer. They also give a lot of meat! I’m surprised as to how for the serving. It’s worth the price for the bowl, which are really comparable to the other Phở places in the area. The waitresses were very nice and attentive. We came ½ an hour before they closed and we were still given full service and were not even rushed at all to leave. I’ll definitely be back to try the other dishes soon.

After a fun night out, the best thing to have the following morning is a great soup! Being a tad too far from any decent ramen, menudo, or pozole, my girlfriend and I decided to check out the new phở place. Although the interior isn’t much to look at, a pattern common amongst most places with hidden delicious, I have to say this is one of the better phở places I’ve been to. Their broth was out of this world I definitely enjoyed all the different meats that were in my combo bowl. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful despite there being a huge crowd. Given the great quality and affordability of their food, I will most definitely be returning.

My bf and I eat phở weekly if not more and we’re gonna have to say this place is . Their service is very fast and FRIENDLY. We both got the number 13 rare steak and fatty Brisket is the BEST! We also got the spring rolls and it was good and it was warm compared to the cold spring rolls we’ve had. This is our new Chino Hills Phở spot. Keep it up Phở Grand!

Always greeted promptly & seated quickly. Servers are kind and accommodating. Bright and clean inside w/big screen TVs usually on some type of sports channel. Servings of rice platters and bowls of noodles are very generous, but most importantly, they are very tasty. Wait time is short & the food comes out fresh, hot, beautiful, & well made. My new go-to spot for phở and it’s so close by! Located in a big shopping center, there is lots of ample parking and dessert choices(ice creams, yogurts, crepes, ect) nearby to pick up sweets afterwards if you are not too full.

We were super pleased with our Phở Grand dinner recently. The restaurant was clean, service was attentive and the food was great. We got the Combo phở bowl, the fried crispy noodles with beef, vermicelli with charbroiled pork and egg roll, and the charbroiled pork rolls. Everything was flavorful, and provided the comfort that I expect from Phở. The servings were a good size and we had enough food to put together another meal. This is definitely my favorite phở spot in Chino Hills.

Wow! It was really really good and kind of different at the same time. Let me explain. It was my first time there so I played it safe and stuck with a chicken phở soup. The soup was excellent but the presentation caught me a bit off guard. Now I’ve been to at least another dozen or so phở restaurants and had a chicken dish at most. The chicken they brought out was on a separate plate with the skin intact, bones and had been chopped by a meat cleaver. Kind of like El Pollo Loco but chopped in smaller pieces. Let me again state the food was excellent but I prefer to have my chicken skinless, boneless and I don’t want to be the one preparing the cooked chicken for the phở soup. I definitely would come back if I was craving me some Vietnamese food, but not a chicken dish, because everything tasted spot on. This 4 star review could have easily been 5 stars if the chicken came out differently. I guess I’m not used to that. I prefer not eating meat off the bone or seeing my meat in its living form(I’m a boneless wings type of guy). That’s just one of my many issues. It’s me not them.

My cousin took me here today because I needed some Phở in my life before going back to Florida. Let me just say it was one of the best I have had in a very long time. I ordered the small rare steak phở, and let me tell you a small is a large and a large is ginormous! The broth was excellently seasoned with the bean sprouts and basil added onto it, and of course the sirachha, it just sealed the deal for me. I also had the ice coffee with condensed milk(I honestly can’t remember the name right now) but it has a kick and definitely puts a pep in your step. The service was excellent. We hadn’t even fully walked through the door they already had a table ready for us. I will be coming back on my next visit for sure.

This restaurant is in such a convenient location, you literally have everything around you in walking distance including frostbite a, bakery and etc.,. No doubt this will be a hot new business soon! I came around 7 because heard this place close kind of early(9pm). As I came near the door, I saw brochures of the menu on the instead of having to go inside and look at the dine in menu, you can just look @ the brochure before hand and then order for a quick and convenient process. Because there were seats outside of the restaurant, they will serve it to you outside ;) just don’t forget to tip;))) The time I came by was pretty empty, this place was barely opened so maybe 3 or 4 customers came by. it was really quiet. The interior decorations were alright nothing special, just like any other restaurant. The bathroom on the other hand was so cute. But who comes here for bathroom right? LOL;) I ordered«Hu tieu ga di bo» which is kinda of like phở but with a different broth. Chicken that came with it was boiled. I was afraid that the chicken would taste bland but was so wrong. It was delicious altogether, and though the soup was a little salty, I did not taste any msg at all. So hopefully this will make you feel better about coming to this restaurant ;)
