Toppers Pizza

Here’s the thing: Toppers is like my memory of what Papa John’s was like in the 90s, but better. Every single one of their weird pizzas are great, their delivery is super fast, and the delivery people are funny and nice. If I had a single complaint, it would be that I wish they had plain breadsticks in addition to cheese sticks. I know that makes me an outlier. Particular favorites include the Taco pizza, thin crust, and the Tater Tot pizza, hand tossed. Give them a try — there are always pretty good specials and the pizza of the week is cheap.

This place is great! They definitely don’t deserve two stars because this location is brand new and their website and online ordering isn’t perfected yet. Omg!!! That is not a reason to have a hissy fit. Some people are literally so upset that they will actually try to be a detriment to a new business that has great food… Omg they messed up your order online? Then why is everybody still going online and ordering their pizza this way? This is the type of place you walk into and order a pizza. They’ll have your order ready in ten minutes! Aaron was the gentleman that took my order and he was amazing!!! The food was inexpensive and delicious!!! Thanks to Aaron, the service was amazing!!!

I’ve had drunk fourth meal in many a time in a plethora places, but none like this. Twas 2:30 am and most places are closed.
Opted to try a new place over Pizano’s across the street and was not disappointed. The staff was very helpful and accommodating our first time, helping us choose what to order (medium half and half specialty ‘za and split topping topper Stix with sauce for each for ~$ 22 with coupon, which she provided us). In addition, they let us stay a decent amount of time past closing to eat and socialize because they saw us enjoying our meal and having a good time.
Would recommend.

Not a big pizza fanatic if it’s not Papa Johns but this was one of the few food places we spotted on our commute back. We arrived about 10pm and the place was empty (not a good sign). We were immediately greeted by the young man. He explained the special, took our orders and cooked it fresh while we waited. The pizza was ready in about 7 minutes. My sister enjoyed hers (pepperoni) and stated it tasted like Papa Johns (LIES!!). I had sausage and it was ok. The customer service was great and the place was very clean. Not sure about all the other negative reviews but we were in and out with no complaints. I’d recommend if you’re looking for a late night meal.

Why. am. I. NOT. surprised? Low ratings — wow. Okay, so first time ordering from this place they charged my card three times. Alright, incompetent workers I see. First, the pizza was late AND cold. The pizza was cold because ” … the cold spinach made it cold,” which is bull because guess what folks? There is this thing called hot cheese, okay? You are not sprinkling ice cubes on my pizza for crying out loud OR are you?! I asked them to sprinkle uncooked spinach on my pizza after it was done. What made it cold? You were late, simple. Don’t give me some lame bull$#!! excuse. When I called about my card and the status of my delivery Oh, «…its on the way … „or whatever the guy said and “ … about your card? It is JUST a pending authorization and there is nothing we can do about that.» Um, three times? Really? I don’t think so. Again, bull$#!!. They comp the pizza and sent another one but THAT one took longer because apparently the driver HAD to drive to another location to pick up boxes. So, let me get this straight. THIS replacement is sitting somewhere — I’m guessing that it is getting cold too and wow, another one of their messups. Niiice. The driver brought me some coupons and promotional deals for next time so I gave them another chance. I wanted to try their wings … terrible. Their pizza is better. Just stick to pizza, ok? Okay, so the third time I ordered, great, pizza woohoo — I’m hungry. Again, they did it. AGAIN. They put it in as a pickup instead of the delivery method I asked for. «We’re sorry — we’ll give you some coupons for next time and I’ll refund you your money». «Nope, don’t do that,» I said. «You messed up again — I will not be ordering from you ever». I’m done. You messed up the first time, I gave you a chance and then you did it again? Amazing. Drop this place. They absolutely suck.

I ordered from this location online last night around midnight. When I went in to pick up my order, there was one guy ahead of me. He took over 5 minutes to pick out what he wanted to order. Someone else from behind the counter could have recognized my existence and have helped me get better service sooner. However this did not happen. When the slow guy finished placing his order, the guy ringing me up for my takeout was moving extremely slow and would probably benefit from coffee. When I was leaving, the man who was in line in front of me started hitting on me. Will not be returning. Poor service and uncomfortable environment. Also, not worth the money for the size of the pizza. Quality was mediocre. I’d rather go to Domino’s.

For $ 30 got a greasy pizza and small chicken wings. The website doesn’t work so you have to call it in. I didn’t even finish the meal and that never happens, it was that bad!

Their food is so good! I got a small «myza» pizza and breadsticks (topperstix). Both were very very good! I’ll definitely be coming back. Depaul students get a discount. Mondays they have a special.
