Stopped in today to grab a quick dinner. It was my first time in there, and one of the guys helped me out. Gave me a great rundown of how they worked and I just ate a really tasty dinner at my office from the microwave that was healthy. The chicken was cooked perfectly even though it was reheated. Very pleased.

I wish I loved this place. I love the concept — pre-packaged, mostly healthy foods. Granola bar type things, snacks(chia pudding), salads, and larger entrees. Also, they have a wide selection of clean label juices… that come with a warning that they could make you sick because they haven’t been pasteurized. So there’s that. But damn, this place isn’t cheap. I got 3 things — a small chia and date pudding, a kale salad, and a juice and I think it was $ 18. It felt like a lot. It’s a cute space, and a solid variety. I like Snap Kitchen, but I don’t love it.

I’ve had three entrees from here and have not been impressed. I can’t remember the first one, but I tried the butternut squash macaroni and bison quinoa hash this week. The first had no flavor, the second was ok but not great. My Fit Foods was a lot better but they seem to have recently closed their location on clark. The only thing from snap kitchen I’ve loved was the Key Lime Pie.

I love this place. The staff is super friendly and the meals are restaurant quality. They are also perfectly portioned so I don’t feel disgusting afterwards. Only feedback I would give is to have some place to sit down and eat, but that is quite difficult given the layout of the store.

I absolutely love this place. It’s bright, inviting, and the staff is always welcoming and prepared to answer any of your questions. The labels on the shelves make it easy for those with dietary restrictions/preferences to find what they’re looking for. No, it is not cheap, but I am lazy as sh*t so I will gladly shell out $ 10 for a delicious, nutritious meal. The naked beef and the lamb lasagna are absolutely amazing, so is goat cheese cheesecake. Can’t wait for them to open one on the NW side!

I was a big fan when this location opened. But the last 2 times I went in there was almost no salads in stock. Today I was told it was because fresh salads are delivered at 6 pm. I was in about 2 pm but the previous time it was about 6:30 pm. Not sure what is going on but keeping salads in stock seems like a good idea for a business which is all about fresh healthy foods.

Not impressed by this place. I think it could be a good concept but it is very expensive and the food I had was not great! The portions are small, the food tasted average — and with the price point, you could get a nice fresh meal at a restaurant! Nothing really stuck out to me so I picked the Shrimp Diavlo pasta. It seemed like something I could easily make for myself at home. I was expecting fresh, hand rolled pasta — but the pasta was mushy and tasted like it was boiled out of the bag. The one positive is that the staff is VERY friendly. They made my brief visit a pleasant one. I just don’t see myself going back here.

How times have changed, I remember when this space was a clothing store! My first thought upon walking through Snap Kitchen was that the prices seemed high. Then I thought, «well, not much higher than what I’d spend for a junk food binge during my lunch break.» I work by a 7-Eleven. I’d probably feel a lot better about my life if I worked by a place like Snap Kitchen. These pre-made meals are fresh and ready to roll, just heat them up in the microwave. The turkey meatloaf with green beans and mashed sweet potatoes is pretty good. The spaghetti turkey bolognese though… that’s the MVP. There’s a sizable variety of meals to choose from, as well as snacks, desserts, juices, teas, and so on. This place is one of the food choices I pass by on my way home from work. When I’m putting in a later evening, I could make a lot of bad food decisions on that way home. So I’m just appreciative to have a healthier option.

First visit to Snap! Yesterday. Super friendly staff — they made the in-store experience wonderful. Try the beef lasagna with gluten-free noodles. it’s really awesome. Their chocolate mousse is too.

This place exceeded my expectations, but I still struggled with how many stars to rate it. I tried a couple of dishes and a cold pressed drink and it came out to nearly $ 30 — holy bison!(which, incidentally, they have!). But the food was delicious and the nutritional values were so good I’m a little suspicious of them. If I were judging this by value-for-the-money I might rate it a little lower, but if you’ve got it, there are worse ways of spending it than on healthy food. Staff was nice too.

This place recently opened up a few blocks from where I live. At first, I wasn’t exactly sure what this place was supposed to be. It isn’t a restaurant, or a grocery store, but they sell food? So I stopped by one day on my walk home just to check it out, and discovered that the concept is healthy, delicious, convenient pre-made meals created by a collaboration between chefs and dietitians. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I told them I already had meals prepped for the week and wasn’t looking to buy anything right then, and they continued to provide the same level of service I would expect if I was purchasing $ 100 worth of food. All of the employees seem genuinely excited to be there and enthusiastic about both the concept and the food itself. The next week I gave Snap Kitchen a try, and let’s just say I’m hooked! The food is much better than what you would expect from a standard microwave meal. Everything is fresh and uses local ingredients when possible, and and of the meals are refrigerated, never frozen. The design of this place is very well thought out. They use different colored containers for different sizes of the same dish and have easy to understand symbols under each dish to indicate which items are gluten free, vegetarian, etc. they also list all of the ingredients and nutritional info on the label which I appreciate. I have tried several options and have to say that my favorite entrees are the lamb lasagna and the«grilled kale hoppin john» which is a bowl of Spanish brown rice, black beans, hummus, kale, and sweet potatoes. It is definitely one of the best vegan entrees I have ever had. As for snacks and desserts, the smoked salmon salad and goat cheese cheesecake are absolutely to die for! Seriously, you have to try them. Since I travel almost weekly for my job, I love the idea of being able to pick up already made, delicious, healthy meal and know exactly what ingredients were used to make it. Eating out is expensive and generally unhealthy while cooking at home is not always an option, especially when you travel 4 days a week. Snap Kitchen perfectly occupies that niche market between the two. While I would love to buy a majority of my meals here, it is a bit too expensive for me to buy more than a few each week. In general the prices are pretty reasonable when you consider what it is you’re buying(healthy, convenient meals), but I do think that some of the entrees are a bit overpriced for the size of the meal. With that being said, it may not be feasible for most people to make Snap Kitchen a regular part of their diet, but more of an occasional treat. They are also going to be selling juices in the near future which I am very excited about!

Snap Kitchen is great. I thought the food was going to be frozen but everything is fresh, prepared by a chef, and really healthy. When you don’t want to cook or go out to eat, this is the best option. The employees are great too. They have real recommendations based on what they’ve tried. The food is great!
