Honestly not bad, ordered through grubhub. Delivered early. Got the wrong side but turkey burger was yummy!

We ordered the jalapeño turkey burger and chicken kabob. The kabob portion was a joke and the turkey burger was sad…

I was actually pretty jazzed to try this place, because it sounded healthy but not too«fluffy» healthy… And I was right, while it does offer some of the floofysnoofer salad combos(chickpeas, carrots, mangos, etc– bleh)… It also offers SIMPLE cuisine like a simple grilled salmon with sides of your choice. I wound up getting the grilled salmon plate, cause um, SALMONAND I AREIN A SERIOUSRELATIONSHIP, but I really wanted to also try the chicken kabob, so I had myself a threesome for lunch. I really thought this was going to be an EPIC manage tois, alas, it was not… The salmon looked completely unappetizing as it was overcooked, and the chicken kabob looked like it was a prop from the movie HONEY I SHRUNKTHEKIDS… Or in other words, Whole Foods doles out bigger SAMPLES of their prepared food than this mini kabob. How did it all taste? Well, it went down the hatch because I was hungry, but it was definitely nothing special and the only reason why it would be at all memorable is because it looked so unappetizing and the ladies I had lunch with were awesome! Speaking of the others, they actually really seemed to like their food, so maybe I’m just the pickiest of the bunch… But hey, I know what I like, and Bountiful Eatery isn’t included in that… The stars are because this place is super clean and the employees were pretty accommodating as well.

Food was very bland… almost with no taste at all. The man at the counter was rude and displayed arrogance.(Tall guy with glasses). My gf had some questions and the man seemed annoyed that he had to answer. I may return only to get one of their«hangover smoothies» but that’s all the business they will get from us.

I really wanted to like this place. The concept is great but the execution left much to be desired. After a few visits(which I tried something different each time) I found the food to be inedible. The service was shocking and the last time I was in there it looked dirty and gross. East Lakeview is still in need of a delicious, healthy, fast casual eatery. This one simply does not cut it.

Terrible experience!!! I placed an order on grubbing for them. I received confirmation and a text message that my $ 50+ meal was being prepared and would arrive between 950 and 10 pm some 90 minutes or so later. Come 1030… nothing. I waited 2 hours and had little food in the house. No call. No text. Nothing! I had to call grub hub and then be told no food would be comming And I couldn’t even get a refund yet because they had already closed. Not nice. It was my first order ever and I won’t be making any business for them and I want my money back!

I thought this place was delicious! I have been looking for healthy delivery options in the Lakeview area and came across this place. I hesitated at first because of some of the negative reviews, but I was actually pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Like many of the reviews mentioned, delivery comes pretty fast. It came quick and the food was warm! I wasn’t sure what the portions were like but I ended up getting the warm latin bowl. The warm latin bowl was definitely enough food! It was delicious! I will definitely be ordering here again. Only reason I did not give the place 5 stars is because of the price and delivery fee. Good food but definitely over priced. Most likely not worth it if you’re only ordering for one person.

I totally have Facebook to blame/thank for sending Bountiful Eatery my way… or sending me to Bountiful Eatery, because one of my FB friends went to their recent anniversary celebration, and it popped up on my feed. Thank you, FB. The place: It’s small. Seating for MAYBE20 inside, and maybe 10 outside, when the weather is acceptable. Not good for big groups — I think there is one table for 4 inside, but they also tout their catering, which I might totally take them up on. I’d almost call this place fast-casual, but without actually knowing if that’s how they’d classify it. The taste: Everything is not necessarily low cal, but I can’t help but feel like I’m making good choices on what to put in my body when I eat here. I’ve gotten a wrap and the kale apple walnut salad, with the dressing that I would lick off the floor if I was dared to. The sweet potato mash wasn’t amazing, but everything else was flavorful, nutritious and, of course gluten free. I didn’t even miss the gluten! My face: So it’s not cheap, but $ 12 for a lunch seems like a reasonable price to pay for food that is flavorful, fresh, and healthful. The chick pea salad makes me smile, with its apricots and raisins not so hidden. I’ll be back for you, bountiful eatery. Next time, with some new friends, hopefully.

I love the gf options all over town now! I’ve been craving pita and finally found it gluten-free, so much so that I even bought more frozen for home! I had the black bean pita wrap and really liked it! Their side of chickpea salad was awesome. My fiancé had the warm curry bowl — while it wasn’t what he was expecting in terms of Thai or Indian flavors, it was good and tasteful in its own right.

The food is decent and the smoothies are super delicious. The only problem I had is that I placed an order through GrubHub for pickup. I left 15 min later and walked in when it was supposed to be ready. Unfortunately I sat there for over 35 minutes waiting. I didn’t order anything complicated. A simple veggie burger. The manager noticed me getting antsy, talked to the chef(they are directly behind the counter). When he asked the cook where the order was, he raised his shoulders in a shrug saying it was a busy night. Funny how it was so busy that a veggie burger couldn’t be made but the people who came in 10 minutes AFTER me and ordered $ 50+ meal got their food 10 minutes after that. They did give me a coupon for a free meal on them and a coupon for 10% off a meal for the visit that follows the free one. I haven’t been back. Not that I don’t like it, because I do, but when I finally got home with my dinner that night, the veggie burger wasn’t even assembled. Granted the burger was orginal and tasty, but if all they really had to do was put a burger on bun and put the toppings on the side, I should’ve been in and out in 5 minutes.

I ordered the Portobello Kale Salad via grubhub. I don’t recall the delivery time, but that’s besides the point since it’s separate from the eatery itself. The portobello was wrapped separately from the salad, which I appreciated. It was warm, which I liked. What I didn’t appreciate and/or liked was the fact that the kale was grainy. I swear they didn’t wash it… I feel like that’s salad 101. Wash the vegetables! It was the first and last time I ordered from there…(and I’m usually a creature of habit).

Okay, so I’ve never actually eaten the food here, but the smoothies are delicious! Plus, you get 20% off if you have a gym membership, which helps me validate my decision to join an expensive gym. Point is, this place got me to order and actually LIKE a drink that looks like grass, so kudos, guys! The food options do look good, and most importantly, healthy and calorically reasonable, so I’ll update this once I’ve tried it myself.

Heard of this restaurant through World Gym Chicago, and consequently got 20% off for being a gym member. Excellent Gluten-free restaurant with fresh and interesting food and drink choices — While the Vegetable Juices were sweeter than the ones I make at home, the Rebuilder was refreshing and Green Guru was delicious. I ordered a half-pita(chicken avocado), half salad(chick-pea, which was sweet and light), and squash soup as my side, and Boyrfriend got the Lettuce-wrapped Bison Burger and a Kale Apple Walnut Salad — both great, but the real winner was that salad, in my opinion! Will come again, the atmosphere is nice and relaxed and friendly, and the food is healthy without being bland or boring.

I think this place is good if you are the targeted customer. AKA someone concerned about calories, looking for low carb options, and seeking variety and quick service. I’m currently watching my diet so it worked for me. I had the Chicken Spinach Apple wrap and the chickpea salad. I was happy that she didn’t charge me extra for the chickpea salad since it’s not listed as a side option for the wrap. The Chickpea salad was good and unique but the wrap was pretty average. The wrap was also really hard to eat since I did the lettuce wrap instead of the pita. I pretty much just chopped it all up and ate 2 salads… probably why I was still a little hungry. Overall, if you are looking for healthy, this place will give you the high protein low carb meal you seek

This small unassuming place is an undiscovered gem! After living in Lakeview for a year and a half and constantly walking by, I finally had lunch there. Following that, I was back 2 more times that week! The latin bowl with chicken is so addictive with the avocados and yogurt topping, i’ve tried to emulate it at home(with no luck)! If you’re looking for a delicious, guilt free meal, I highly recommend this place! It seems very zen too!

I admit I’ve never actually been in this spot, but it’s one of my favorite GrubHub picks. It’s so hard to be able to order anything healthy, even in a city with a million restaurants. Bountiful Eatery definitely solves that problem for me, in many delicious ways. Lots of gluten free and low carb options, if you’re into that, or just solid healthy choices that don’t lack flavor. On a lot of weeknights when I’m sick of cooking and don’t want to walk to the store or days when I just went on a long run and I’m exhausted but need something healhy to refuel, I will order Bountiful in a heartbeat and it shows up usually faster than the estimate. My favorite on the menu is the bison burger — they make their own delicious patty with good quality meat and a great blend of spices. You can order it in a pita or as a lettuce wrap, both options that I enjoy, and it comes with a side salad and a side — great deal for the amount of food and quality. I also like their kabob and other grilled selections, salads, and their pita or lettuce wraps in general. Even my husband, who is wary of any«health food» loves a lot of the salads and wraps. Their side options are also unique and delicious– you get to pick from a variety of cold salads like quinoa salad, black bean or chickpea salad. Last night I got some mashed sweet potato on the side of my burger and it was a perfect paleo meal after a long workout. They also have chips if those different options don’t t turn you on. I would like to try the smoothies or breakfast items some time… all look great. Extra points for someplace that will actually deliver breakfast food. Overall, this is a good ordering option if you’re not in the mood for the standard pizza or other greasy(delicious) delivery options available, and I’m sure stopping in is even better since their delivery fee is a little steep(but worth it)

Delivery order review: Overpriced for the food quality, customer service, and wait-time you receive. Waited over an hour. I ordered the mediterranean pita, extra pita bread(side), and a large Spinalicious Smoothie. I didn’t receive the side order. My order total was just over $ 30– I think this should have been $ 15 at the most. The smoothie was okay but would count as a S or M at other smoothie places. The pita wrap(small portion) had onions, tomatoes, and spinach wrapped in not very good pita bread, and looked like someone made it with their eyes closed. Customer service: the delivery guy dropped the order on my desk at work and left, texted me saying he is «always busy.» Okay, but so am I as well as countless other employees.

Prices are a bit steep for me, but nothing out of the ordinary for what is supposed to be healthy food I suppose. I had the chicken kabobs with salad and mashed sweet potatoes. It was tasty, although the chicken could’ve used some seasoning and the veggies could’ve been cooked a little more. The salad was plain and boring and basically just dressed up the plate. The mashed sweet potatoes were pretty good though. I had a breakfast blueberry smoothie too, which was just OK. There are a lot of items on the menu I want to try, so I will be back when I am not worried about how much I’m spending on my lunch… Also worth noting: the interior of the restaurant was quite dirty. Not health-code violation dirty, but as if they had been SUPER busy and no one had been able to clean the floors or dust or anything. It was a little off-putting.

I’m lucky not to suffer from celiac disease, but if I did, I’m glad to know there’s a great place like Bountiful Eatery in the city. The food here is very tasty, with a wide variety of choices that are all gluten free. I especially like the desserts. And the bison burger is always a great choice.
