I’ve always been a Quiznos fan and hate the fact that they’ve disappeared from everywhere in the burbs. When taking a class at UIC, I happened upon this one and I decided to check and see if it’s as good as I remembered. I went with the chicken pesto sub on Rosemary parm bread. I’ve always loved their steak but they do weigh a bit heavier on the stomach and I didn’t want to fall asleep in class. My chicken pesto sub was fabulous and this coming from someone that could take or leave pesto. I like that it had fresh Parmesan on top after it went through the grill. The only disappointing factor was that the description said you’d get«fresh greens of the moment» but my fresh greens was nothing more than iceberg lettuce. I was hoping for something a little different but it still tasted good. Since we were on a timed lunch, it felt incredibly slow. Both girls working were doing their best at getting everyone out of the line as quickly as possible but it still took me almost 50 minutes to order, get my food and eat. They do have a loyalty club now where all you have to do is enter your phone # on their iPad. After your 6th visit, you’ll get a free sub Prices are a little high. I got a combo and spent $ 11. I do feel like the sandwich quality was there but that’s still more than I like to spend on lunch. I’ll probably check it out at least once more during my class here, but due to the cost and timeliness, I won’t make it a regular occurrence.

I came here last night quite hangry after spending way, way too long attempting to run simple errands and getting delayed. I was looking for the fastest thing I could scarf down before I turned into my own parody Snickers commercial and decided to run into Quizno’s on a whim since it was on my way home. The service here was better than some of the service I’ve had in actual 5-star restaurants. The two gentlemen working last night have wonderful customer service attitudes; they complimented my fiancé and my choices of bread and fillings, recommended what we might like to try next time we come in, had a little song about each sub and what to do(SENDITTHROUGH!), and were very engaged and enthusiastic about getting our order correct. I actually forgot to be mad about how starving I was for 5 minutes, I was so caught off guard with spectacular service from a chain sub shop in a college neighborhood. Totally unexpected, vastly appreciated. Oh, and the subs were good too: Chicken carbonara on a rosemary parmesan and a peppercorn steak on wheat, yum!

Well, I have mixed reviews on this Quizno’s. First of all, there’s no parking whatsoever, but that’s expected in this part of town. Second, this location didn’t have my favorite Cobb salad that I usually order. And third, when I got the salad, the lettuce were mostly stem pieces. I hate stem pieces! And if you know me well, I’m very picky about my food. I should get what I pay for. The customer service was excellent. His name is Marcus. He was telling me the reasons why I should come here everyday to eat. He said that they serve great food, convenient location, and it is black owned. I’m all for supporting my own people, but why would I come back just because it’s black owned? Just because it’s black owned doesn’t mean it’s good! I would come back. One day. But I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here. The only reason why I give this 3 stars is because of the excellent customer service. Otherwise, it would be a 2…

As an out of towner, I like to walk around and check out different parts of the city. Typically on vacation, I’m not a fan of frequenting chain restaurants, but I will if I have a craving for something comfortable, and especially if I’m cold and hungry after walking around the city for a while. I stopped in to this Quiznos to get a quick bite and to warm up a bit. The funny thing is, despite the freezing temperatures outside, the temp inside was much colder. The girl behind the counter gave me attitude from the get go. The place looked clean, but I cannot speak to the food because I left before ordering anything. I had no interest in eating at a restaurant where just ordering food in the first place was tense.

This is better than any other Quiznos I’ve ever been to. Very clean and the employees are always very nice. Marcus always hooks it up! Id much rather come here and spend the extra few bucks rather than deal with the scummy Subway that is a block down.

This Quiznos is better than others I’ve been to but that is not necessarily saying a lot. I stopped in for lunch and I was the only patron there. The staff was friendly and the food was decent. The restaurant was generally clean, some tables were a little dirty and the fountain machine could use a once over. I had the angus steak sandwich on the rosemary Parmesan bread. The sandwich was served hot, the cheese was melted and all of the ingredients looked and tasted fairly fresh. I’m not sure what it is about Quiznos but the business model just doesn’t seem to be working. It seemed like in the early 2000’s they went through a significant growth phase and now they are disappearing?! With so many lunch choices in Chicago I’m not sure I’ll be back but maybe if it’s convenient I might give it another shot.

I went there today for first time; had Ham Club sandwich w/water at 2pm. I have eaten at other Quiznos locations, but something is off w/this one. After an hour, I had bad stomach aches that lasted six hours. I got chills and head pain. Staff was friendly but place was sloppy. Tables were not wiped clean.

Service was great. I was nicely greeted and the area was clean. The workers knew what they were doing and even made the experience kind of fun. My Pesto Caesar chicken sandwich tasted amazing. I just wish the prices were a tad bit lower…$ 9 for a footlong here when Subway’s got their $ 5 footlong promotion going on. Regardless, I’m a happy customer.

Quizno’s is a bit overpriced, but it satisfies the craving for a hot sandwich. They don’t skimp on ingredients either which is always a plus.
