I totally luv lunch specials here, there’s no need for me to ask to Supersize. Yummmm .mm! Next to Orange Garden Restaurant, this comes in very close to number 1!.

Their orange chicken and fired rice are the best of the area. If you are looking for good Chinese, then this is the perfect place to go. Also, the liquor store next door makes one step trip for food and drink.

First time ordering off of Grub-Hub because I didn’t have cash for my usual Chinese place and Mr. Ging accepts credit cards. First impression was not all that favorable, but not horrible either. Egg rolls were included with a coupon, but I’ve had better and the delivery guy forgot the orange sauce. I ordered three dishes and I’ll list them in the order liked: Tomato Pepper Beef Chop Suey, BBQ Pork Fried Rice, and Chicken Subgum Chop Suey. I may give them another shot when I need a place that accepts plastic.

Good food. No complaints. I just wished they added more than one sweet and sour packet when I ask for extra.

The orange chicken is the best around. I have eaten in several places in the area and for orange chicken– hands down winner. The chicken pieces are large and all lean white meat — delicious.

This is our favorite place to order Chinese food from. I like everything that I’ve had from Mr. Ging’s. The food is always fresh, hot and plentiful. My favorite dishes include Chicken Egg Foo Young, Beef Fried Rice, Sesame Chicken and the Egg Drop Soup. Delivery is very fast too.

I just picked up my order and it was not the same! The fried rice was overcooked, the general Ts chicken was Blah and not to mention, this was a very small portion, not like it use to be, and my husband who NEVER complains thought I went somewhere different!!! Very disapointed,$ 30.00 down the drain!!! I wont go back not to mention that place needs its windows washed, and a good cleaning!!!

The Best Chinese take out place in Chicago hands down! I’ve been going to Chop Suey for years and literally have them on speed dial. Although I do not live far from them at all. They always serve quick and fresh food. And the amount is perfect, I used to work in the area and would go to them everyday for lunch and it was always worth my 6 bucks. No other place I know is as friendly as they are and they have the best fried rice. At first glance you wouldn’t think this place is too busy because it is a small place located on a strip mall but don’t let that fool you the food speaks for itself. GO! GO! GO! And you’ll never eat Chinese food the same again!

When I was in high school I could eat chinese food atleast once a week and not worry about gaining weight. It’s a little bit different now. I don’t really crave chinese food, but if I do I order take out from here. My favorite is the sesame chicken with beef fried rice. The chicken is not like most chinese places. It’s all white meat chicken with a little bit of breading. I’ve also tried the singapore chow mei. The lunch portions are huge and include a drink. They accept Visa/MC, but the min. is $ 10.

Best Chinese around my area, It use to be gross but They changed it up. The rice is delicious, orange chicken/mongolian beef/pot stickers/crab ragoons/egg rolls, are all tasty. They deliver fast, but they still use the carbon paper thing when you pay with a debit card(only when they deliver, inside they use the little machine), but the food is good, so you should try it.

Always used to order from here before I discovered a better option, Jess Café, just down Central. This place is not as fresh. They give you a pretty standard meal. It’s not outstanding, but it’s not terrible, either. They give you big portions for your buck, though. I like Jess Café better ’cause their food tastes a whole lot fresher, and they have bubble tea as well. Not a bad place, though. But not worth more than 3 stars.

I had high expectations for this little restaurant based on the sign in the window claiming to have the best Chinese food in Chicago. Yeah, I know it’s normal for businesses to really talk up their product higher than what others might, but trust me the sign in the window was totally wrong. The only reason I’m giving this place a 2 star rating is the serving size was large on their lunch menu. However, some of the sweet and sour pork was burnt, the rest of it had a mushy tasteless coating on it, the fried rice was not just fried but fried just barely short of burnt, the egg roll was also just barely not burnt and was very over cooked. The one positive taste in the meal was the canned Coke which was cold and good tasting. I really hate giving a low rating to a small restaurant since I’m very much in favor of supporting small businesses whenever possible. However, in this case I feel I am being pretty generous to even give this restaurant 2 stars. The service was friendly and the dining area clean so at least they have that going for them. Next time I’m in the area I will just eat next door at the Subway sandwich shop where I know I will get served good tasting food. Sorry Mr. Ging’s I just really can’t give you any higher rating without feeling I’d be doing other Unilocalers a disservice. :-(

Great food and even better customer service! The fried rice is great and even better when you pour on the soy sauce from the little packets. Food normally doesn’t take too long to get after placing an order either.

Found mold on my shrimp, after calling the manager and telling him about it, he didn’t know what mold was so he didn’t find anything wrong with it.

I like that you can see where the food is being prepared. The restaurant is clean. Service is OK and their food is fresh. I’m glad they are so close to me and that I don’t have to go far to get good food. LOVE their Crab Rangoon!

Pretty standard Chinese fare here. I ordered some egg rolls, crab rangoon and shrimp chow fun. I never tried chow fun, so I googled up pictures and it sounded good to me. The crab rangoon came in a set of 8 for $ 5.25, so there was certainly value there, as the carton for food did not close. The egg roll was standard as well, probably should have gotten a shrimp roll. Shrimp Chow Fun? I am down with this dish since the shrimp is big and plentiful and as I dug around my food, there was always more shrimp to be found. Delivery time beat the Grubhub estimate, but I must say they did not include napkins, utensils or free pop with my order. Also they put a small carton filled with sweet and sout sauce that didn’t make sense to me. Decent value and I will have food for the next few days at least!!!

I ordered from this place and the driver was late and rude and expected a tip. Having worked for tips, I didn’t appreciate it so I told him his tip was to be on time and lose the attitude. I ordered Egg Foo Young and it was cold. My chicken fried rice was overcooked and flavorless. I mean how do you screw up Chinese food?
