The delivery driver got here, called me and hung up after I said hello. I called back and he hung up on me. He buzzed my apartment, I buzzed him and he didn’t come up. Called him back and told him I would buzz him, heard the buzzer through the phone, didn’t come up. Called him back he didn’t answer. Walked the the front door he was standing on the outside of the door.
Got upstairs my sushi was sitting on top of curry. It was literally HOT. not warm. Hot. Disgusting.

Food is not fresh, messy, and greasy. 2 stars because it’s open late and they delivered within the time window. Pretty much a last resort midnight option.

Ordered Mongolian beef. Received some garbage with peppers in it. There are no peppers in Mongolian beef. Even the menu said it was just beef and onion. No mention of peppers. wtf is this bs. I’m getting my money back or I will dispute the charge with my bank. And here I go to bed, hangry as a mofo. F this place
BUT, if you like playing games and surprises with your food, PLEASE order from here. I would love to know what you order and what you actually receive.
Just be cautious if you have any food allergies! You may order miso soup and end up with a box of peanuts, bc apparently that’s how this place does it.
If I were Unilocal/​EAT24, I would remove this place from the restaurants you work with. Law suit waiting to happen.

We ordered for delivery and it took about 1.5 hour. The reason why I’m giving it three stars is because the owner was very nice and Understanding and gave us a discount. The sushi from here was amazing ! So fresh and really really tasty. It’s sad that the delivery guy had to ruin the 5 star rating that I feel like they deserved if our order was on time. Next time we order from here we I’ll only dine in. I don’t want to have to wait such a long time for a couple sushi rolls. Kudos to the professionalism and taking responsibility we will be back !

I love Kimberli Thai. I especially love their hours as I am a night owl and often times cannot find anything open after 9 or 10 pm that is decent. Their food hits the spot and they are a fave for Pad Thai and crab Rangoon.

Really loved this place. My friends and I decided to go there randomly on a Friday night. We were accommodated right away (group of 6). We ordered 12 rolls in between all of us, plus appetizers, and it was all delicious! The sushi was really fresh and if we needed to make any adjustments to it, the staff was more than happy to do so. The place was BYOB as well, so we ended up sitting there for several hours just eating, drinking, and enjoying each other’s company. To top everything off, the cubs game was on that night and we asked the staff if they could play it for us on their tv, and they did! Definitely coming back here again.

The food isnt going to change your life but being able to order sushi/​thai food at 1:30 A.M. to logan square is legitness. Since it was my first time ordering from here I played it safe with spicy tuna roll, red curry, and seaweed salad. Seaweed salad and spicy tuna was the same as every other place that offers it. Well, actually it was a little heavy on the rice but the convenience of the late delivery hours were my main reasoning for the four stars. Thai red curry was the star of the show, I order that dish at every thai joint I eat at and have never encountered eggplant in it. Very pleasant surprise. OH, they threw some extras in the bag too like eggs rolls and some desert I haven’t tried yet. Delivery took a little over a hour too but hey, I do live in logan so its forgivable.

Nothing was good here except the ice cream.
the mini eggrolls were soggy and tasted fishy.
the sushi tasted old and might have been better with the mayo that was supposed to be on it, but wasn’t. The duck noodle was so nasty, I spit it out rather than swallow it.
the mango chicken might have edible, if it had been fresh, but it was overcooked, and hard as a rock.
maybe it was because I had it delivered, but none of the food I ordered here was good.
and everything was expensive! my order was 50 bucks total, and I only ended up eating the ice cream.

Working the night shift and I was looking for something healthier than pizza. I was happy to see kimberli sushi was open and I decided to give them a try since the reviews aren’t bad.
My conclusion: you certainly don’t get your money’s worth. The rainbow roll looked like a 4 piece California roll and the tuna sashimi was a 2 piece thinly sliced piece of fish. With delivery and tip, I’m out $ 30 and still hungry.

Back in the Dark Ages (hey now, I used to work second shift in Evanston… so it was actually dark when I got home from work) I would have to eat my dinner at midnight, like a sad little Gollum, hovering over whatever I could scrounge up in my fridge at that late hour. One fateful night I happened to drive past Kimberli and noticed it was still open, whats this? A late night Thai and sushi place? MYPRECIOUS.
Thankfully I have a new job with a normal 9 – 5 schedule, but I still hit this place up on the reg for maki rolls and pad thai. GrubHub makes it ridiculously easy and the staff are so polite. I’ll be back soon!

It’s one of those crazy Saturday nights where you wanna turn up… by ordering good food and going on a Netflix binge.
So I ordered:
Crab Rangoon (6)
Robata Pork
Spicy Ebi Q Roll
Scorpion Roll
Mango Tapioca Smoothie
Everything was really good and they added some extra goodies (sliced fruit, small spring rolls)
Would definitely go eat in person!

It was my first time coming here and it rated well enough to come back. They have an all you eat sushi buffet which I liked. They do charge you extra for nagari which I think is odd, but it still wasn’t a terrible deal.
The maki rolls are pretty standard fare, but their chief’s special rolls are really creative and very tasty. I tried the Sunshine and Orange Blossom and they were a unique blend of fruit and fish. I’ll definitely come back to try the others.
The atmosphere is quiet and laid back. I wouldn’t cross town to come here, but it is a good neighborhood sushi place. Overall I think it’s worth a try.

Open til 2AM? Say whaaaat?
Ok. For the time, and the price. I have to say that this place is alright in my book. It isn’t the best, but it will do. I have come here a few times and the food is consistent. I had the pad sie eww, Beef salad, and some sake.
This is a tiny little spot with a nice little sushi station. My favorite was the beef salad. How can you go wrong with Beef salad? They didn’t. The service was good as well. I would say that this place is pretty average but considering the time it was (12 midnight), I would say it is a much better alternative to have rather than other joints you might end up.

I really enjoyed this sushi! It was fresh and hit the spot. We were the only ones in there the day we went (it was one of the clodest days of the year so that may have been why ha ha). Also ordered buble tea and enjoyed that as well. Would def come back. Just a bit far from me.
Spring rolls are the best here! The contrast between the sauce, carrot shavings, cream cheese, and jalapeño makes this appetizer amazing!
Also noticed they have Unilocal Deals! Can’t beat that!
