This place is in a quiet looking neighborhood, in a strip mall off a busy street, facing what was a very-packed-for-a-Saturday parking lot — late 70s rock played from a polish radio station. The restaurant inside is mostly a take-out place with limited seating, though you can have dine-in service which is what we did. The menu is in polish first, but also english. Hmm… the food is good. It apparently used to be another polish place. I came here months later and the food was similar. It’s sort of a weird deal, seems like only one or two people are working here. But if you’re in the area it seems like one of the better places to come.

So I was in the mood for some good homemade Polish Food and didn’t want to go to a buffet. We stopped in and it was love at first taste. We had a hibiscus and apple tea which was so delicious. We sampled some sauerkraut soup which was heavenly. Then we tried the main dishes. We ordered kiszka(blood sausage) which its unique to begin with but scrumptious. We tasted the potato pancake with gulash. Again it was a delicious plate. The pork cutlet is a tender pork tenderloin without any sauce or gravy so the pork in highlander style is the same meat with gravy(probably the better choice). All in all everything had such good homemade flavors. If you are looking for some good olé stick to your ribs polish comfort food this is the spot!!!

REALLY good Polish food! Portions are big with very reasonable prices. I am pretty picky but everything I have tried there thus far-delish. Worth trying!

Absolutely delicious Polish food. The soup I had was fresh, light yet hearty and so flavorful. A cabbage soup. Then I had the kotletschabowy which was crunchy, not greasy and some of the best mizeria ever. Highly recommend this place. It is quaint and the service is fantastic. This is not an especially fancy place but the food is outstanding. Real mama home cooking.

Grandma’s closed and Karczma’s opened. The pierogi’s are even better now. I tried the potato pancake with goulash. In addition to it being delicious, it was enormous. Can’t wait to try other choices.
