Landed on this amidst the navy pier food court type option and was fully satisfied. Food: 4, Service: 4, Atmosphere: n/a Cost to worth it rating: 3 Return worthiness: maybe Highlights: — Gyro: solid version packed with tons of meat. You see them cut it off that stand up spit type thing so it’s legit. — Speed: didn’t have to wait long Lowlights: — Just a mall-like spot If I was in the area and craving a gyro, I’d have it again.

I try not to eat at the Navy Pier’s food court restaurants whenever I am in the area, but lately I’ve found myself here more and more for all the various expos and conventions. And let me tell you, overpriced hot dogs at the expo’s concession stand is the last thing you’d want to eat. So sometimes, after a few hours spent at the expo,(and the incredibly long walk from the expo festival halls to Navy Pier’s main door) I’m too hungry to wait til I’m near a decent restaurant. I caved and just take a risk at one these food stands. On the most recent trip, I chose Greek Delight and was disappointed as usual. I was handed my gyros immediately after I ordered, making me wonder whether they pre-made everything and just nuked it up when ordered. or if someone else had ordered it and changed their mind and I’m getting their leftovers. The pita is small. The meat is warm. There’s way too much onion, and too much white sauce, and not enough tomatoes. Worst, the tomatoes they had were nearly white, the worst quality you want in tomatoes. After finish, I just feel dissatisfied and still hungry and regretful of this dining choice.

The spinach pie here is very good and they also have yummy fries and baklava. I don’t eat meat but my partner says the gyros are very good too. They have the roasting meat on the spits, so you know it’s not presliced frozen stuff. The prices are very good, especially for Navy Pier, and even when the food court is packed the wait at Greek Delight is not too bad.

I was expecting to eat something mediocre at the Navy Pier but was surprised by this place. The chicken gyro was great and reminded me of my visit to Greece.

I loved this place not too mention the lovely company! Food was fresh, right price, and yes I was a little afraid to try at first but I was not dissapointed! If you ever find yourself in the windy city and happen to visit Navy Pier you will not be dissapointed, trust me ;)

My boyfriend and I decided to stop and grab something to eat here on a whim when we were walking around Navy Pier one cold & rainy night. At first I was a bit skeptical of trying the food here, since food court restaurants aren’t always the best when you try them out; however, I’m definitely glad that we tried the food here. I LOVE gyros and they serve some pretty tasty gyro sandwiches. I especially love how they piled on lots of meat on our sandwiches. I will definitely dine here again when I’m in the area.

I thought the gyro I had here was really good, and the price was inexpensive considering how large the portion was. I was expecting my dining experience to be subpar since this is a touristy area and seems like a mall food court. I was pleasantly surprised.

Stopped for a chicken gyro on Sunday and it was fantastic. Warm pita, a mound of perfectly cooked chicken, a good helping of tzatziki and fresh white onions equal a tasty low $ lunch. My husband had instant lunch envy and ended up finishing my sandwich. I will definitely stop here again the next time I’m at the Navy Pier.

This is my go to place at the Navy Pier food court for a couple of reasons. First it is the best value in the food court. You get a great Gyro loaded full of meat, tomatoes and sauce. I usually do not get the onions on mine, but you can get them if you want. You can pay a lot more if you eat at the other food places and get a lot less. I’ve been here with others who have envied my choice of the Gyro! I always warn my friends but they never listen. Secondly, they are super fast. These guys put the fast in fast food. I love it! This place knows how to keep the line moving. I have never waited here longer then a minute for my food and that includes ordering and paying. The gyro is really good and is consistent with any other gyro place in Chicago because it is the same meat that everyone sells. There is never a bad sandwich here, unless you don’t like Gyros!!!

Pretty good for a Greek stand. I ordered a regular gyro from this place, and saw that they had just finished taking hot meat off the grill. It’s about average of what you’d expect from an over-the-counter vendor, but if you’re paying the $ 5.80 for the gyro sandwich there, be HUNGRY. The sandwich is huge and overflowing with lamb and beef. Plenty of cucumber sauce and a good amount of onions and tomatoes. Stop right on by if you don’t want to wait in line at all the other places!

After a hardcore day of playing at the Children’s museum, we decided to wander over to the food court for some grub. We chose Greek delight. Ordering was easy and efficient but what was a little too efficient was the 22 seconds it took the dude in the kitchen to slap together our Gyro. I’m not saying fast food can’t be good but dude com’on. Act like your putting a little love into it or something. Unfortunately, the food reflected the speediness and was the worst tasting gyro I’ve had to date. The quality of the meat was poor and the tzatziki sauce clumped all on one side of the sandwich was a little to much to take. I will never return here. sorry…

I needed a quick & healthy lunch on the Pier. Enter the Greek Delights version of a Greek salad. Pre-made so who knows how long that may have been sitting in the fridge… the greens still looked pretty good. It was accompanied by large feta wedges, big tomato quarters, olives with pits, peperoncini and two sides of dressing. However, the dressing was a oily and flavorless. Bad dressing makes a good salad not so good, bummer.

wth? Why the low rating? This place is awesome! I was effin hungerrr so I ordered a shitload of food and yes, i ate it all! I ordered their salad. it was meh but lots of good pieces of feta, like a whole freekin block!- def got my money’s worth there, their chicken kabobs were not bad, pretty juicy, and big portions. I really really enjoyed their beef lamb gyro. they give you tons of meat and the sauce with the onions were ONPOINTYUM! If anything, go for their gyros!

The gyro was passable, and the meat in particular was pretty good; beyond that, there’s nothing to say. Overpriced, as is typical for Navy Pier.

I’m not really a big fan of gyros but since everyone I was with wanted to eat one, I said«why not?». Not only did I find it weird that a couple of Mexicans were running the place, the cook didn’t really know how to assemble a gyro… which is not hard at all. I ordered the Kronos gyro and it wasn’t that bad but it was a disaster to eat. He added soooo much meat, the onions where on ONE side, the tomatoes were on the very end and the sauce was all over the wrapper but not in the actual gyro. They gave me a big stack of napkins and I thought that was extremely weird until I started eating. There’s nothing I hate more that eating something that gets everywhere… even your forehead.

There isn’t too much I can say about this joint in Navy Piers’ «food court.» My Gyros was made quick enough but when I sat down and unwrapped it, I was a bit disappointed. There was too much sauce and the beef/lamb was dry. The best part was the pita itself, it was actually toasted. I only gave the second star because the onions and tomatoes were fresh.
