Best donuts ever. My favorites are: red velvet, maple bacon, & raspberry cheesecake! You can get 12 for $ 30.

Had a donut testing at work with 5 of the best donut shops in chicago(glazed, stans, do-rite, firecakes, and doughnut vault). The testing was based on all their old-fashioned donuts, and Glazed came in 2nd based on taste and cost. The real gem here is the Oreo Cheesecake donut I tried… two of my favorite things mashed into one, it was delicious! Definitely need to come back for it.

Obsessed with this place. They have the most amazing donuts and I think I could eat them all day err day! I had the blackberry cheesecake and it was to die for!

I went here after seeing the other reviews on Unilocal and have to say you can’t go wrong here. These donuts are so so yummy. I had the Boston cream donut. The top had just the right amount of chocolate and the cream in the middle is to die for. The dough was soft and fluffy. I had to grab a couple more of them for the ride home. I will be back again when I’m in town. I sure will recommend this place.

This is a cute little doughnut shop that we stopped by to get a little treat after a meal. Inside they sell a variety of doughnuts and drinks as well. The doughnuts ranged from 2 to about 2.50. I got a white chocolate cranberry doughnut. The size of the doughnut was huge! When I took a bite into it, it was so fluffy and light on the inside. The doughnut was a little too sweet for my taste but it is still worth all that sugar!

What more can I say? Sweet sensation ! Great place to ger some interesting doughnuts & we love ur staff. The young guy. Looks like a Basketball player(I think his dad is one) is the nicest & thoughtful staff member. Although it was almost closing time, unlike most young people his age, he did not rush us out. He told us to take our time with our coffee & doughnut ! He deserved a great tip! Remember, once they r out, no more doughnuts for the day ! Best to go before noon !

Donuts! So so many donuts. The nice thing about Glazed and Infused is that they’re open late on some days — not just until 1 or 2PM like usual donut shops. That and how they have so many different creative flavors(and also samples of cake donuts)! Honestly this isn’t the place to go if you’re not into sweet desserts as one of these by itself is already really filling and very sweet. But they’re donuts — what else do you expect? They were running a buy 1 get 1 happy hour promotion when I stopped by so I tried the peppermint chocolate royal(sweet peppermint on sweet chocolate cake donuts) and a gingerbread old-fashioned(less sweet). The gingerbread was the standout but the chocolate wasn’t bad either. But for the happy hour price, definitely worth it.

It was late on a Saturday evening when we picked them up but the donuts were still fresh the next day! It was also Happy Hour when we picked them up so it was buy 1 get 1… does it get much better? The gentleman helping us was really polite and super nice. We had the Star Wars donut, Peppermint, Long john with maple and bacon, original, red velvet and one with little white & chocolate curls all over it. They were all fantastic. I would highly recommend Glazed and Infused!!!

Pop-up feel to this small corner donut-coffee shop inside the larger Italian restaurant you need to walk through to get inside. There are 4 small tables with about 10 seats so you’ll probably be getting yours to go. Some novelty sized birthday options but you’ve probably heard about this shop because of the maple-walnut glazed bacon crawler so grab one, dig in and enjoy, its a great and unique item to try once. The chai latte was not too sweet and the perfect temperature where as most places serve it way too hot to initially drink.

Dazed and Confused! That is how I felt when I was perusing their lovely display of donuts! Every single item there was calling my name. Unfortunately, my tummy would not allow me to purchase one of each. So, my wife and I decided to share 4 different items. 2 full-sized donuts and 2 minature sized donuts. Terrys Blueberry Lemon Toffee was one of the full sized purchases we made. It tasted frickin delicious! If they have it, then buy it cause it is worth every penny.(5 stars) White Chocolate Praline was the other full-sized donut that we shared. It was also good, but not as tasty as Terrys. Worth trying.(4 stars) Cajeta Fried Ice Cream was a mini donut that we bought. Not too impressed with this puppy. Maybe because it was too small to really appreciate the taste?(2 stars) Maple Bacon Long John was the other mini donut that we shared. Wish that there had been a full sized Maple Bacon Long John available. The mini size just gave me a sneak preview of the real thing. It was good, and I am certain that I would have enjoyed the regular size a lot.(3 stars for this mini donut) Very good service was provided by the staff. It was worth the walk from our hotel to find Glazed and Infused. By the way, they have several locations. This particular branch is located inside a restaurant(Davanti Enoteca), and they have a walk-up window. Check them out for yourself.

Having been on quite the adventure to try the best of the best donuts in Chicago, I practically slammed my face into the window of Glazed & Infused because of my bursting excitement to just get my hands on those wonderful creations that were calling my name! The donuts were saying, «Lauren, Lauren — come eat me!» so I listened to those donuts, but I didn’t eat them — I inhaled them as if I was a high-powered vacuum cleaner. Seriously, though — I vacuumed those bad boys up in a matter of minutes. I’d told myself that I was going to eat one the day I bought them, maybe two, and save the others for breakfast the next day… but that didn’t happen. These donuts were so awesome that as soon as I finished one I was onto the next one. When I’d gone to Glazed & Infused I bought four donuts — the fruit fritter of the day, the maple bacon long john, the apple cider old-fashioned donut and the red velvet donut. I so desperately was hoping that they would have had that raspberry glazed donut on the day that I’d gone, but I was S.O.L. so that just means I’m going to have to come back again… as if that’s something to cry about. Despite the fact that the raspberry donut was not in stock this particular day I was extremely happy with my selection of donuts, though the price of these mere four donuts was not exactly enthusing at $ 13. I’ve said this before about specialty items, but I’m not particularly bothered by the price because it is a once-in-a-while treat. My fiancé bought half a dozen donuts which equaled about $ 18(say whaaaa?) but these were also amazzzzing. I have to say that all of the donuts were totally wickedly great, with the exception of the maple bacon donut which simply isn’t my forte. Donuts should be so sweet that it makes your teeth hurt — I don’t want salty donuts… that’s an oxymoron that simply shouldn’t exist. It’s not only the donuts that are great here, but it’s also the service of those behind the counter who are patient enough to wait for the patrons to figure out what donuts they have to have and can’t live without. The guys that work here at Glazed & Infused must be very accustomed to people saying, «hmmmm…maybe that one… ooh — and that one… oooooooh — ANDTHATONE!» — I guarantee that’s what you’ll be doing. I also noticed that they offer some coffee and specialty lattes, so not only will you be ooh-ing and awe-ing about the donuts, but also about the drinks. Granted, the drinks seemed to be around the same price or more than those at Starbucks, but these are special lattes and special donuts! And so my donut quest in Chicago has ended with Glazed & Infused and I couldn’t be happier that my journey ended where it did!

You definitely get your money’s worth with these huge, delicious donuts. I decided to buy a bunch because I couldn’t decide between all the great flavors… Brown Sugar Peach Marmalade: Not a fan. Pretty bland until you get to the filling, which I thought was way too overwhelming. Red Velvet: Rich and delicious! The frosting was to die for and it tasted more like a cake than a doughnut. Probably my favorite one. Sweet Tooth & Chocolate 4: Both good, especially for people(like me) who love anything that relates to chocolate, sweets, dessert, etc. Not as good as some of the others though. Apple Cider: Fantastic seasonal offering. Very moist and packed with great flavor, but not as rich/desserty as the others. Great option if you want one that’s a little lighter. Apple Fritter: HUGE and absolutely amazing. I’m glad I got them to go, as the seating is pretty limited and the atmosphere seemed cramped. Even though there are probably a few places in the city with doughnuts that taste slightly better, Glazed & Infused definitely offers the biggest variety and the most fun/festive donuts.

Ugh. These donuts should come with an insulin pump. We ordered a dozen for four adults. That was a bad choice. I could barely get through one bacon maple long john. Everything is amazing, but I actually wish they were smaller so I didn’t have to hate myself every time I come by. The line gets long, and customers frequently get large orders so be prepared to wait. It’s totally worth though. Drop by if you have a sweet tooth. Your dentist will love you.

Walked by this place and made a mental note to check it out. Got here around 7.30am only one person ahead of me. Apparently this is the number one place in Chicago for donuts ! I ended up getting two red velvet — nice and fluffy, maple bacon -, wow this was amazing with a lovely rasher of bacon on top and finally four different kinds of chocolate !! Really fresh and tasty I think the total for the four donuts came to just over $ 13. I highly recommend this place nice and clean plus the guy behind the counter was super helpful and nice. Be sure to go into the right door to get in

Stopped in for a little energy boost before our wander around the city. Great little shop carved out of a restaurant. Brown Sugar Peach Marmalade was delicious, and believe it or not, not too overwhelmingly sweet! Yum. Hubby had the maple bacon long john. He couldn’t stop eating it to give me a rating, so I assume his mumbles and primal sounds indicate a 5! They had samples out, and so I can also vouch for the Chocolate 4 — also delicious. Only downside is no Diet Coke. ;)

For breakfast on day 2 in Chicago, I decided to try Glazed and Infused, since I luv donuts, especially ones that are a bit different than the norm. As I gazed thru the glass counter, my mouth was watering at all the amazing choices that were at my choosing. I wanted to order all of them, but there was no way we’d be able to eat that many. I decided on the Maple Bacon Long John, since what’s better than bacon on a maple donut? Not to mention seeing an entire piece of bacon sitting on top of the Maple Bar. I also ordered an Apple Fritter, Red Velvet, Chocolate Heath Bar, Rasberry Old Fashioned and a Terry’s Mocha Koffee Toffee. The Maple Bacon Long John had the perfect blend of sweet and salty. That might have been the best Apple Fritter I’ve had. The Red Velvet was perfect and not too sweet, the Rasberry Old Fashioned was amazing and the Terry’s Mocha Koffee Toffee was fabulous with the right blend of mocha and toffee. All the doughnuts were freshly made, warm and you couldn’t help but ignore your waistline and keep eating. What a way to start the morning.

This place is really good! I have a favorite donut shop in Austin, but as a fan of donuts anytime of day or night(cliché fat girl over here), had to give this place a try after recommendations from many friends in the area. We got the PB&J, red velvet, apple fritter, and praline/white chocolate/honey donuts. They all were moist(that is a weird word!) and flavorful. The praline/white chocolate/honey, in my opinion, was the best and most unique. You could really taste all of the flavors, but none were overpowering or too sweet. PB&J was just as yummy as the classic sandwich and the real fruit pieces in the fritter were a pleasant surprise. Red velvet was very sweet, but still tasty. The only way to get into the actual shop is through the attached restaurant, which is a little strange, but the hostess was really friendly as we looked a little lost. They also have a walk-up window, but we wanted to look at all the flavors. Our only criticism is that the staff was a little disinterested. We were making eye contact through the window and kept walking around trying to figure it out, but they made no indication of which way to go. And once we were inside, we asked a couple questions and for their recommendation, but it was just a little short. Nothing horrible, just rubbed us the wrong way a little bit. However, none of this will stop of from returning whenever we back to Chicago! Dreaming of enjoying a jumbo donut one day!

This is among the top doughnut places in town, and has the advantage of more locations than some of the others.(Note that the entrance to the River North location is through the restaurant around the corner and past the hostess stand.) There is a limited selection of types, and they run out, so it’s best to arrive early and beat the lines. Their old fashioned is a very good doughnut, although I would prefer it without the fronting, and with more of a crust, like they do it at Do-Rite’s. White chocolate seems a bit boring, and Chocolate 4 is simply all about chocolate, not really my thing. The apple fritter is a nice take on this old favorite; this version is all about cinnamon and a light cake interior, without the cloying apple glop that is so often used. I would have liked a crisper top crust, though. The fried ice cream doughnut was interesting, with its toasted coconut topping, although I’m not sure where it gets its name. But clearly the standout doughnut here is the Maple Bacon Long John. The creamy center gives it a smooth consistency, the maple flavor is rich, and the salty bite of the smokey peppered bacon really raises the complexity level. This is the doughnut you’ve been looking for. While they have bagels and other non-sweet items, they don’t have any doughnuts that aren’t extremely sweet, so if your taste runs to a plain old fashioned, this isn’t the place. Otherwise it’s definitely a great choice for some morning sugar overload.

I love the fact that they offer samples! On the Saturday that I tried this place, they had the vanilla bean glazed and the old fashioned donut samples. So, since I tried those, we decided to order a few other flavors. For $ 9, we got the red velvet and key lime pie donuts, as well as the apple fritter. The apple fritter was absolutely excellent — fresh, soft, glazed, and full of cinnamon and apples. This was the best thing that I had. The red velvet donut was true to the red velvet flavor profile and it was definitely better than the key lime one which had subtle flavors. The shop itself is cute but oddly located inside of an Italian restaurant. There are a few tables to sit and enjoy donuts while sipping warm beverages. Chicago has several good donut shops and this one ranks high among them.

My friends and I were roaming the streets of Wicker Park wondering where we’d like to spend our money for a hangover meal. Seriously though, it took forever to decide. The hunger was real. We decided on Big Star. FORTYMINUTEWAIT? No thanks… Before finding a different restaurant, I couldn’t handle the hunger and decided to cross Glazed and Infused off my list! I got the Maple Bacon Long John and the Red Velvet. The MBLJ was surprisingly delicious! Not too overpowering and the bacon belonged on the donut. It belonged!!! The Red Velvet was good too! But I felt that there was just too much dough): Can’t wait to try more!
