I’ve been here a few times but I always forget to check in but not this time. But the whole experience here has been good and the service is pretty fast. I would recommend my friends to stop by here.

While we’re on the topic of writing non-sequitur reviews of the employee bathrooms and such, may I express my disgust with this place. First of all, you know the managers are scum when they post a huge sign in the window saying that parking in front of the DN’D is THEIRS. They have since changed it to say something to the effect that customers may park their cars there for 30 minutes, but it’s highly discouraged. In addition, the employee went totally ape when I asked for cash back once; well, let me get my money back from that toasted coconut doughnut. It was DRYYYY! These people need to just realize that this is becoming a STARBUCKS neighborhood!!! Rightfully so. Dunkin Donuts’ coffee tastes like a watery, diabetic armpit compared with watching the dude at Starbucks grind the beans and brew me a cup of dark roast. Best value for your money, that parking spot in front of the door. I’d recommend parking there and then plopping yourself down at El Gallo Bravo to watch a telenovela marathon.

I frequently stop by here for coffee/breakfast on my way to work in the morning, and the staff is incredibly friendly and the coffee is great and ready quickly!

Avoid! I bought an ice cream cake here that was so dried out(old?) it was inedible. The seating area is dirty-no excuse for that, particularly when staff is just standing around.

As DD’s go, this one is pretty much the same as every other– the staff are super friendly, it’s clean, and it offers my arch enemy: glazed chocolate munchkins.

I have been walking past this location for weeks and drooling over the picture of the Lucky Mint ice cream, a heaping scoop of chocolate ice cream with mint chips and mini oreo cookies. Wanted it!!! Bad! I finally got my chance for some ice cream and it turned out to be everything I had hoped for and more. This location was clean and the clerk was friendly and fast.

I lived on Clark and Montrose a few years ago(07′). I can’t tell you how many times this placed helped me avoid a hangover in the morning. I was pretty much broke while living there. So along with my Aldi’s groceries, this was my main food source. kind of. I have found memories of living there during the summer. I’d stop in for a large Iced Coffee and take the«long way» to the Wilson stop for work. I miss those days. I miss that DD. I really miss the lady that would always call me «my friend». :sigh:

All I wanted was coffee. It was early. I quietly opened the door when 6, yes 6 east Indian women began yelling at me at the same time from behind the counter «What would you like!!» «Miss-can I help you? What do you want!» «Vood you like donut?!» I was going there for coffee, a substance with caffiene in it that can assist in alertness in situations when there can be early morning verbal assaults. I was a deer in headlights. After a deep breath, I asked for a medium coffee, cream no sugar. The battle to get that coffee for me began. The girl with the longest ponytail and the longest reach beat out the other counter girls for getting me that coffee. She was triumphant. It was time to pay. Do I want Donut? No. Do you need bagel? No? Sandvich? Donut hole? No no no. Just coffee, stat. I recommend the coffee at dunkin donuts. Its good coffee. I also recommend having coffee before you get the coffee there so you can deal with the wildly hyper service. These employees are sugared up and ready to attack your order. Be ready!

My boyfriend and I are starting to suspect drug front as they never have any donuts when we go in! Add to that the fact that they’re super-rude every single time we’re in there. I will state though that I’m never in there for the morning rush and perhaps things are different then… I’ll never know…

Right next to the 24 hour burrito joint. Great coffee, afterwards stop over and get a healthy fix of Orkin-scented burritos.

A groovy place, and unlike 83.8% of all other eating establishments in Chicago, there is FREEPARKING. OK, the lot is small and shared with the rest of the mini-strip mall, but c’mon now, at 6AM, it’s not like people are taking up spots for an hour while they sit down and have dinner at the Chinese place. Here is something I would LOVE to get an answer to: why does the one Indian lady pepper her dialog with«my friend»? Is «my friend» the equivalent of «dude» in her native tongue? Any Hindi-speakers out there?

This is one of my favorite Dunkin /Baskin locations. I don’t know when some of the other reviewers have been in, but in the mornings this is a fast, friendly operation. The staff knows the orders of regulars and manages to keep waiting time to a minimum while still making patrons feel welcome. When the staff isn’t busy helping customers, they’re busy keeping the place clean. Seating is limited, but if you find a seat it’s likely at a clean table. The worst aspect of this location is the busy, crowded parking lot where it’s easy to get boxed in.

On a January morning, this is THE warmest spot in the city. Get a seat in the front window right under a vent, your back facing the window. The sun will caress your arms and shoulders and warm air gently billows from the ceiling, and you wrap your hands around a styrofoam cup of coffee. They have a fair amount of seating and don’t give you much guff if you linger.

I stop at this Dunkin Donuts almost every morning for my coffee. The staff is great — friendly, and quick on the morning rush. They know my order and are always pleasant. Their coffees with the new flavor choices are fantastic… Need a late night ice cream? This is the place to go — open 24 hours. Give ‘em a break. America runs on Dunkin!

What is the deal with a Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins on every corner in Chicago? Ugggghhh. I have tried to give it a chance, but just can’t like the place. The smoothies are loaded with sugar– way too much sugar. The donuts seem stale. I don’t know how you could screw up an order of plain coffee to go, but somehow mine ended up with a cream-like substance in it that made it un-drinkable. I’ll give them an extra star because their TV ads are at least somewhat entertaining, or maybe that’s just me trying to figure Dunkin Donuts out? Does America really run on DD? Please tell me they don’t!

I had to add this location, because this is arguably the WORST Dunkin’ Donuts in the city. I have never had anything fresh at this location. What few choices you can find, that is. Here, it is never time to make the donuts. Somehow, even the coffee is stale, no matter when you come. The staff is confused at best, and I have been short changed on more than one occasion. Avoid this hell hole!
