Definetly not my favorite Hibachi… but certainly the most expensive. I had the shrimp, nothing special. My biggest disappointment was the sauces… no «yum yum» sauce… instead it is a sauce overpowered by horseradish. They seemed to skimp on the vegetables and then gave you rice AND noodles. While some may like that I would rather have more vegetables than plain noodles doused in soy sauce. All in all it was just okay

My friend & I had an excellent time! The sushi was high-quality and amazing, the service was awesome, and we love the manager June! This is my new favorite spot!!! We will be coming here again!

Hibachi is always a great experience to share with family, it provides a entertaining way to eat for a couple hours straight :) I had the Emperor and Empress for Two, which came with Filet, Lobster, and Scallops — it was very tasty and the lobster was cooked perfectly with a nice succulent taste. The fried rice, noodles, salad, and soup were all equally well prepared and the chef was great. Its definitely a fun night.

I absolutely love the food here! it is my all time favorite. It is a shame I wont be going back there anymore. I had ordered a to go order over the phone and I said to the person, «i cant really follow your menu very well, but I can see that there are 6 pieces of spicy tuna rolls, can I have 1 order of that?»…the person said sure no problem… I get there and my order was $ 88! I was like what?! why is it so much? well, apparently she thought I had said I want 6ORDERS and I said no… I never said that. Well, long story short, the owner then comes and«resolves» the problem but first gives me a speech like, «well, next time you come in you need to be more specific» kind of attitude along with, and«well the chefs already made it!»…well, that’s not my fault… sorry dude… I thought I was very clear… so whatever… I will give this place 1 star because of the food. I will admit they have great food, but the owner needs to change his tone…

We were greeted by someone who looked to be the manager. Maybe there wasn’t enough customers, but he just sat at the front of the door and played with his cell phone the entire time! Go do that in the back of the restaurant, buddy. We asked for a high chair as we were being seated by him, and when we turned around after a second, he was already at his seat playing with his phone. We thought he forgot about the high chair until a few more seconds later that his underling brought us a chair. Don’t know what you would take from this, but I consider this boss very unprofessional and lazy! To top that, his chef was standing next to him as we were leaving, and this guy was nice enough to say, «bye» and«thank you». However, this freaking manager kept his back toward us, slouched while laying his elbow on the table to keep trying to talk to his chef, and didn’t say sh*t. Anyways, we had the lobster and banzai roll. I wasn’t a fan of the banzai roll because of the amount of cream cheese; about 40−45% of the roll was cream cheese! It just overwhelmed the whole roll and made it terrible. I rate this a 1 out of 5. The lobster roll was better, but I wouldn’t give it all the praises like everyone else is raving over it. The taste is okay at first, but the mayonnaise was too excessive. They’re generous with the amount of lobster on top, but at the end, it just made me want to vomit after eating too much of it. In addition, perhaps the lobster was too heavy(physically), but the sushi rolls underneath looked they were done by kids. KIDS. They were poorly done. It just seemed like they grabbed a bunch of rice and just squashed them around the shrimp tempura and seaweed. I rate this a 2 out of 5. I will never come back to this place, not too much because of the food but mainly because of the manager!

Loved the lobster roll, Philadelphia, eel and cucumber, and spider roll especially. I think we ordered about 10 different sushi rolls. The service was phenomenal here. Would go back any day!

My family and I have been here for many special occasions and had nothing but great things to say, but this experience left us pissed off and anxious to leave. The food was as expected, great. Unfortunately chef Alex left us with a horrible taste in our mouths. Due to the fact that they were short on chefs, I get if he was having a rough night, but his attempt of being humorous came off rude and extremely awkward. After my sister was gazing at the next table’s amazing fiery performance he said, «you can get a better view if you sit over there». Maybe that’s part of his humor, but the whole family was anxious for him to be finished. There were no jokes, smiles or any positive vibes. The guy was garbage. The rest of the staff was great. Thanks for ruining my birthday Alex.

Delicious! Best basic spicy tuna roll I have ever had! We also thought the land and sea was fabulous along with the Red dragon.

We were so excited to go to the hibachi grill this evening but we were very disappointed. The servers were very nice and attentive but the food was pretty bad. We ordered ginger dressing on our salad and I have never had such a poor ginger dressing, it was chunky and it tasted horrible. We love ginger dressing and we usually order extra but this dressing was just gross. The miso soup was good, it arrived nice and hot. Our chef was fantastic, entertaining, and fun! The steak, chicken and shrimp were good but again the extra sauces they served were chunky. Yuck! The fried rice was typical fried rice and we were puzzled by the noodles. Why noodles? I have never had regular noodles at a hibachi? Why fried spaghetti noodles? Still trying to wrap my brain around the noodles. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I’ve always had a great experience at Oishi’s. But tonight was an absolute disaster. I’ve visited them since their opening years ago with many happy experiences. However, tonights experience has left such a sour taste that I will not return. Sayonara to June and Bruce, the managers. Sayonara to Mo Mo the waitress that provided us with confrontational attitude when serving us. Her unpleasant demeanor elevated when I questioned the charges on our check. I asked to speak to a manager, got no response. I know the manager, June, and searched for him to let him understand my dissatisfaction and he told me that he was too busy to talk to me. I hope that this business will learn better protocol for future customers. If they continue to treat their returning customers the way I was treated tonight they may have a smaller crowd.

This restaurant used to be one of my absolute favorites, however, it’s fallen short in both quality and cleanliness in my opinion. The sushi making is inconsistent. It’s hit or miss. Several times now sushi pieces have been wrapped so loosely that it unravels and falls apart. Last visit we had to be moved to a different area of the restaurant due to flies. I’m not sure who cleans the restaurant but the larger tables and benches near their kitchen entrance on the sushi side need to be scrubbed down – very sticky. I’d also like to recommend you replace or get rid of the cushions/pillows provided for people sit on. They are filthy. Please do better Oishi, I want to really love your restaurant again.

I reviewed for this place before with 4 stars now it it officially down to One star!!! The one star goes to the manager. Went here to celebrate my dads birthday there was 7 of us. We ordered our food the cook came and He asked«what are you guys here for; celebrating?» I laughed because my dad asked us not to say it was his bday because when it is someone’s bday there they bang on this drum and it’s a little obnoxious. Anyway I laughed it off and he said«why are you laughing!» I didn’t know what to say so I kept kinda laughing thinking he would drop it. Then I had a text come in so I got on my phone. Then he said«hey you aren’t suppose be on your phone! You are suppose to be enjoying this experience.“I was still texting, I look up so he sprays me with water! I put my napkin up and he was still spraying! My face was drenched.(Makeup running, hair wet) Not kidding. I was super embarrassed! Not acceptable, to a kid maybe but to an adult woman? Really? and My sister told him he was being very rude. And he kind of stopped talking. After that it was just awkward everyone was like did that really just happen? All in all the night was ruined the dinner was a bust. Like we don’t need to interact with you just make our food and entertain us that is all. We all decided to bring the manager over once the cook was done. He was very apologetic and took care of about half of the bill. Anyway, Won’t be back.

What a great destination for a birthday dinner. We decided on the Oishi Hibachi style as the kids seem to favor the food better when it is cooked in front of them. With our party of 8 we almost took up an entire table/grill. They do not seat you until your entire party is present so be sure everyone shows up on time. Our orders ran the gamut. From kids Ninja Shrimp to the Adult Filet. There seems to have been significant turnover in the chefs but our chef was very pleasant and energetic. We opted for the fried rice but warning it does add $ 3 per order just for the fried rice. A little steep I think. My order of shrimp and steak was done about right. The food always tends to be salty but very tasty. If you ask they also have a «spicy» sauce that is fantastic with the steak. Despite the higher price of each dish you will not leave hungry. Expect a salad, soup, side of noodles, appetizer shrimp, and side vegetables, in addition to your entrée. What can I say my kids love the«fire place». It is a little pricey but you pay for the show and ambiance.

Lobster roll, you complete me. Don’t ever go away. It’s my favorite food in all the world. I’ve also done the hibachi side once, and that was good too. I got the veggie and tofu entrée and it was awesome, and they gave me so much I couldn’t at all eat it all! But really, lobster roll.

The food at this place is great and I have been here a total of 3 times, but my review is from my third and most recent visit. I came here on a Thursday evening for my niece’s 10th birthday dinner. We came around 8:15pm and one person in our party wasn’t here yet and we already got a look from one of the female servers taking our drink order. Our chef was great and wished my niece a happy birthday. By the time we started eating dinner, we were the only ones left, which we had no problem with. The other employees were cleaning around us and pretty much made us feel like we needed to hurry up and leave. They didn’t even give my niece her birthday dessert nor did they sing happy birthday. They just rushed us by giving us our food quickly and then the check. I am very disappointed especially for my niece who picked this place for her birthday dinner and wanted the employees to sing and get a free dessert. They shouldn’t have taken our reservation and seated us at 8:15pm if they wanted to leave by a certain time.

This place is absolutely awesome! A few points: Service here is great. The people are very talented and make eating here a fun experience. The waiters/waitresses are awesome. You are not left waiting around. You are promptly seated, orders taken and you also don’t wait long at all before food is prepared. I also like the fact that I had no wait to get the check. Food is delicious and you are given really nice portions. Both kids and adults will enjoy the food as there are a good amount of options. The food is nice and freshly made which is the best part. Lastly the place is lovely. The eating areas nice and clean and you have enough space to grub! The bathroom(women’s) is also very nice. I’m definitely coming back to his place soon. This will have to be one of my staple restaurants!

Found ourselves there again but wound-up on the hibachi side. I had the shrimp and the kid went for the kid steak. Note — the kid steak is made with a decent steak… kinda surprising given how many places try to feel the kids an overcooked hunk of sirloin and pass it off as a steak. Shrimp was yummy but in retrospect I wish that I had ordered something else as I forgot about the 2-piece shrimp appetizer. Probably a fish is in my future next time around…
