I want to start this off by saying my father’s friend’s retirement party had hot appetizers from this place and was so impressed he wanted to take us here. We ordered our drinks and our waitress mixed our drinks up. We switched them back right in front of her. Also, she touched the rims of our glasses handing them to us, which would bother me intensely if we didn’t have straws. He ordered cheese sticks(very good) and boneless wings with two sauces(and 15). The rest of us ordered bone-in classic buffalo(only 8 or 6). She brings us like 25 boneless buffalo and his bone-in… We sent them back. My sister and I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and I didn’t want lettuce. She did. The waitress brings our sandwiches and her’s has no lettuce and mine does. We just picked it off and settled it that way. My sandwich was half grizzle and the chicken had not been trimmed at all! Then the wings finally came after our entrees and they were doused in HEAVY black pepper. These were definitely not a «classic» buffalo sauce. Furthermore my dad’s boneless which were supposed to be 15 were only 8. At this point I had finished my drink and she swings by and takes my glass. She passed our table multiple times, each time saying my drink was coming. My mouth was burning from the wings and I didn’t even have a glass of ice and she failed to bring me another drink for at least 20 minutes. She brought it and another drink for my father at the end of our meal. And guess what? They were mixed up again. Finally,(and this is my biggest pet peeve) the waitress brought us our check before we even had a chance to order dessert. We sent the bill back and ordered the cookie blitz. This was amazing. Overall I would not come back to this place for several reasons: the service was terrible, the sandwiches were mediocre, and it was slow. HOWEVER, their saving grace was the dessert and the cheese sticks.

Went for happy hour drinks. Slow service, drinks tasted like water and the atmosphere was pretty sad. Don’t think it’s worth another try.

Went in last night for a beer and something to eat. We had a great time and the food was all hand battered. We would definitely return.

Somehow I always manage to find myself here around 11pm on a week night. Probably because they’re one of the only places open and still serve food in Chesterfield. Bartenders are always friendly here and the food is not too shabby! Hummus was yummy, feta cheese and tomatoes on top is always a win. Boneless wings were slightly over-fried but the chicken was still pretty juicy. Fries are always yummy, crispy and well-seasoned. I love their variety of beer on tap. And music at night is a fun mix!

Great fish and chips, the chips were coated with parm. Fish was breaded cod, very healthy portion. The wings are just average. This is a sports bar, but the food was more diverse than most sports bar type places. I liked that it was roomy, did not smell like old beer and was very clean. We had a very nice server and the group of 12 had a great time.

This whole thing about having bars sound like they are some kind of Irish pub, I don’t get it. They never have anything Irish in them. Anyway, I got the 16 Oz rib eye. Plus was the $ 2 drafts. Steak needed a little more flavor and less fat and cooking time. The sides, fries and vegetables were great. This is one of those between kind of places. Could have easily been 3 stars, but bartenders pushed them to the 4 star level.

UPDATE: I went back and tried their ribeye steak, and it is DISGUSTING! It was tough like a leather boot. Steer clear of the steak. The service was out of sight though. Stick with the Fox’s hamburger or wings and you’ll have a good time.

We ate here for the first time last night, service was good, the Top shelf margarita was awful, food was ok but not great either! Probably won’t go back.

Good place. Casual. Wife and I both had the ribeye, which was tender and had good flavor. Mine was correctly cooked, my wife’s slightly rare, but not too much.

I go to Fox & Hound in Chesterfield because my alma mater alumni group meets there to watch college football games. And that’s the only reason I’d ever visit Fox & Hound. It’s a chain restaurant and very much feels like a chain restaurant. That’s really not my preference when I choose to eat out. The service at Fox & Hound has also been great. They are prompt with drink refills and food orders. Fox & Hound is also a great place to go to watch your favorite sport. They have lots of TV’s and the staff is usually willing to make sure at least one TV is playing the game you want to watch. The food at Fox & Hound is mediocre. It’s basic bar food. I’ve been here many times, but I don’t really have a dish that I do or don’t recommend to order. If you do visit here often, I do recommend becoming a member of their awards club. The rewards do seem to stack up pretty easily so it pays off.

I really should say«meh» on this place. I came here for a networking event. The room where the event was held was really hot. I don’t know if the A/C was working or not. But, there was a fan on a table to help alleviate the misery. The pretzel sticks were big & a bit toooo salty. I had to get BBQ sauce as a dipping sauce due to my dietary restrictions. I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t have any marinara sauce for my pretzels. Not happy. BBQ sauce & pretzels are an odd combination. Don’t try it. The staff were very helpful & accommodated me. The music that they played was a bit loud or maybe I need a hearing aid. No live bands. Lots of big screen TV’s as stated in the previous reviews.

Typical bar fare. They do have a nice beer selection both on tap and in bottles. I usually go and meet friends on Tuesday night. That is $ 2.50 pint night. All Pint drafts are $ 2.50, including one of my favorites a black and tan. They also have a huge number of TVs to watch just about any game your heart desires. It can get somewhat loud but overall a fun place to watch a game.

This place has a very nice atmosphere with plenty of space to accommodate larger parties. The food is also really good. The appetizer was slightly disappointing, though. I ordered the chicken wings(boneless) and the portion was rather small, even for an appetizer. Maybe I’m just use to the big portions at other places, who knows. The temperature and taste of my food was very nice though which made for a very nice meal. I’d definitely recommend going back here. It’s more of a friendly joint to go and watch a game or to hang out with friends or even have a business after hours party. However, I wouldn’t bring a date here on one of the first dates. But that’s just personal opinion. The one thing I’m curious about. Why were a couple TVs showing Spanish sports? It was rather odd. It looked like a station was picked up from Mexico and it was more talk then actual sports. And the music videos did match the music playing but the taste in music was slightly… off. Despite that you don’t really hear the music too much once you’re actively engaged in conversation. So it’s not bad. All in all I’d go back and recommend anyone else to go as well.

We were out in the county shopping Taubman Prestige Outlets Chesterfield and needed lunch. Being Proactive, I flipped through my Taste Cards(coupons) before leaving home and pulled the one for Fox and Hound for it’s close proximity to our new outlet mall. We arrived after the lunch rush, which is always nice. We started out with a couple of cold beers and chicken wings. It was kind of hard to decide which beer to enjoy, they have 36 beers on tap and 85 bottled. Having just returned from a CO vacation, I couldn’t resist enjoying a Fat Tire on tap. The BF had a Negro Modelo which was accompanied by a chilled frosted glass. The Chicken Wings were spicy hot. Not enough hotness to give you heartburn, but enough to burn the lips as you enjoyed their flavor. They were served with celery sticks and Blue Cheese dressing on the side for dipping. I liked that they give you the choice of Ranch or Blue Cheese. I don’t dip my wings, but the BF prefers Blue for his. However, with the great spicy flavor of these wings, no dipping was required. We took advantage of their lunch menu specials and ordered Fish-n-Chips and Chicken Tenders. The Chicken Tenders and Fish were both done in a New Castle Brown Ale batter. Both were lightly coated, giving a crisp flavorful shell to the juicy fish and chicken inside. The fries had skins on and were lightly salted. The cole slaw that came with the Fish was unremarkable, slaw at KFC is better. The lunch portions are the perfect size, two pieces of fish and 3 tenders left us feeling full and not over stuffed. They even portioned out the right amount of fries. So many restaurants serve up way too many fries and I either eat them all and feel bloated or leave them and feel wasteful. Our waitress Tracie was a Rock Star server. She knew it was our first time at F&H and we were dining on a Taste Card and still made us feel extra special. We chatted and shared stories, as if we were regulars. The manager on duty even stopped by our table to make sure everything was Okay. The exceptional service and good bar grub will have us returning when we shop the outlets. I am sure at Happy Hour and late night, Fox and Hound becomes a real«meat market» for the single crowd. To make sure you are kissable fresh, they offer mouthwash in the restrooms.

I suppose«adequate» is about right to sum up this place. Typical bar & grill franchise food. Nothing really inspirational. Good service, decent atmosphere, etc. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was good. The kids reported that they liked their burgers, etc. Not really a lot more to say…

I went here spur of the moment with a buddy who lives in the area, as we were hungry for lunch. He said he has been here numerous times and liked it, so even though my friend(and frequent eating companion) Elle P said to avoid it I went in to try it. First off lets talk about atmosphere. I really enjoyed it. They had music videos playing on many of the TVs and the music was being piped through the speakers around the establishment. They also had sports on the TVs(assuming you consider NASCAR a sport). The wait staff were all attractive which is always a huge plus lol and very friendly. I will say my water ran low a few times, same with my friend’s soda. The waitress forgot the lemon in my water as well the first time but upon delivery she remembered it and quickly got me a few to add myself, which I give her props for. I really wanted a burger and I decided on the ranch hand burger cooked medium. I also ordered the bratwurst cheese soup, because it sounded great. The soup was very good however instead of sautéed onions it had green onions added; I don’t think this is bad though because it still tasted great. The burger was also very good, but a little over cooked. The fries looked like they were going to be seasoned but I was disappointed by fries that were nothing special. Atmosphere gets 4⁄5. Staff gets a 2⁄5. Food gets a 3⁄5. Overall I give this place a solid 3⁄5 rating and I agree with Unilocal’s opinion of that being a-ok!

Fox and Hound is one of those places that isn’t particularly unique or special, but it will still draw you back for more. Their happy hour beer specials are very good, and their speciality drinks are pretty delicious as well. In fact they have one that is horribly embarassing to order but I love it. Its called the«fruit loopy». I usually just point to it on the menu, because I don’t want anyone to hear it being said aloud. It is very sweet, reminds me of liquid sweettarts, but when I’m in the mood for such a drink, there is none better! Their food is also pretty good here for bar food. Their wings are pretty solid, and I absolutely love their pretzels! So when there is a game on that you want to see, head over here and watch it. They have so many tv’s that it damn near gives you a seizure… but in a totally good way. Two of which are huge projectors with two different games on at any given time. Also hot tip… they have free shuffle board in the back room if you request the pucks! Enjoy!

I like Fox and Hound for its bar. F&H is generally my happy hour or late night destination. The bar has a rediculous amount of beers on tap along with a respectable amount in bottles. The bar food is delicious; try the fried pretzel pieces with nacho cheese. The bar is spacious with a side room with darts and additional tables. F&H is a good place to watch televised sports(baseball, football) and usually has specials for fantasy sports team drafts. Bar service can be limited or spotty at times. While friendly, I think the formula used to determine the number of servers needed requires rework. I visited one evening and had to wait for the bartender to finish making out with a woman across the bar before getting his attention that I required a refill.

This is the hard drinking, 36 beer on tap, bar that my niece loves. We visited for the Wicked Wheat Wednesday for $ 3 pints of any wheat beer. She said the better night is Two Buck Tuesday on any pint! Then she told me about the card… All places should have a card that pays me back for how many beers I buy.(My niece got $ 10 off her tab) After so many beers I would get the larger mugs for the price of a pint~ even on $ 2 Tuesday. I found out the kitchen is open late so I ended up getting«Pool Sticks»(the BBQ inspired egg rolls on shredded lettuce) and really enjoyed them. They do have 2 pool tables so I guess the name is legit. I really liked this English inspired tavern.(The TVs need upgraded from rear projection to flat panel & smoking @ the bar are the only real complants) The main area of the bar area is tavern style with a cool long communal & bar stool friendly table. There are more traditional seating, but I thought that was a nice touch.
