I’m sad to write this review, since I do love their sandwiches so much. But this location needs an employee overhaul. They are never friendly and act is if I’m the one interrupting something important, when no one is there and they are doing nothing. Also, the website and front door state that they open at 8am but when I went there at 10 today, they have the lights turned off the open sign turned off. Sure enough the door was unlocked and the two employees were definitely not pleased I walked in, 2 hours after they are suppose to be open. Again I had rude service for the thousandth time.

I enjoy a sub shop that cuts the meat in front of you. The bread id soft and it is consistant no matter where I go.

We ordered at school and the order was wrong. Two teachers were not able to eat and we were treated a bit rudely when we called back. However, after leaving a complaint on the website, the owner called. He made no excuses and apologized for the trouble. He offered a free meal for the problem. It didn’t help for lunch but it is refreshing to have a store owner care about customer satisfaction. The meals that were delivered properly were satisfactory.

This is my favorite place to go to for a sub! The meat is always fresh and they slice it right in front of you. The employees are quick and always friendly. I even went one time when they were about to close and I apologized for being so late — they smiled and told me it wasn’t a problem. Their toppings(I always get lettuce and tomato) were fresh too. They have more cheese options than other sub places and they will toast it for you if you want. Their bread is my FAVORITE — so soft and never stale! They offer frequent buyer cards which they stamp so if you are a regular, make sure you get one. The soda dispenser is a nice touch and I like the combos they offer with chips, a drink, or a cookie.

I just moved to the area and want to try every place close to the neighborhood. Let me say this place was a terrible experience. From the rude attitudes of the two employees to the absolute filth of the work station, the unclean slicer that I guarantee never gets cleaned. I’m surprised anyone would think this sub shop is a good experience. Word of mouth is best advertising and I will definitely let people know. The owner needs to take a step into a real sub shop to see how a successful operation is ran. Plenty of them just minutes away.

My family and I walked in at 7:55 tonight and the workers both seemed annoyed that we were there. They were short with us and made us all feel very unwelcome to the point of almost leaving with our food rather than dining in. The door says they close at 8:30. Perhaps they should change that to 8:00. Very disappointing experience at one of my favorite places to eat.

I thought the sandwich was very average. For the price I paid, I could have made it myself at home. Thank God I had a coupon. The staff was kind of snotty. The soda machine was a definite draw but that was about it. Firehouse Subs has the same soda machine with much better food and a friendlier staff.

This was very close to my bus stop so I decided to walk over and get some grub! I got a roast beef 12 inch and it was fantastic! I have never seen so many different kinds of purple drank in my life:) Seeing that machine for the first time is a day I will never forget! Great quality with great prices! I would recommend this to anyone!

I asked for some nutritious and light food before my hockey game and let me tell you, Goodcent’s answered and brought the THUNDER with a bomb 12 inch roast beefer. Definitely will be back for more with my dad soon.

Time after time I find myself craving Goodcents. They slice the meat as thin as possible and everything is so fresh compared to any other fast casual sub shop. Whenever they have the garlic pepper bread, it’s an added bonus! My favorite sandwich is and always will be the original with capicola instead of pepperoni with lettucr, oil and vinegar — it’s simple but really great! Service is always quick and the staff is nice also. Always a treat when we find ourselves in Chesterfield!

This little place came up twice in conversation with two different sets of people within about 45 minutes on a Saturday morning. Hence, it was where we went for lunch and ran into our next-door neighbors… who were not part of either earlier conversation. General observations: + really like the notion that they slice the meat for your sandwich when you order + willing to customize sandwiches and mix/match ingredients + yummy bread baked on the premises +/-they have one of those Coca Cola dispensers that has half of the soda choices known to man available but I can see this as a huge choke point during busy periods as only 1 person can get soda at a time and it requires longer per person than a traditional setup — onion slices were far from uniform and my cheesesteak was overloaded to the point where they took away from the flavor of everything else until I picked off a bunch of them — the toasting apparatus they used on my sandwich did not manage to cook the onions and peppers and I prefer a cheesesteak where the onions and peppers are cooked to the point of tenderness I look forward to trying other items on their menu as they are putting out a pretty darn good product.

After two moms of sleepover guests and our next door neighbors all mentioned this morning about how they like this place, I had to try it for lunch. A couple of noteworthy things about this place are that their bread is fresh baked and they slice the meat after you order your sandwich. I saved the best for last though., they have this coke machine with like 100 different options for soda! I downed a diet caffeine free cherry coke and a diet strawberry fanta and really could have sat there all day and guzzled flavored soda.

Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs is what the sign says, rather than Mr. Goodcents Subs & Pastas. And I think Deli Fresh Subs pretty much sums it up. I had never been to a Goodcents before, since Subway(and Quiznos) are usually much more convenient. Plus, it seemed like it would be pricier. However, since I was in the Valley along Long Road, I decided to hop in for a quick lunch bite. Place is neat and clean, workers were all very friendly and polite. The woman slicing the meat was a good greeter for each customer. The big things I liked, which is what they promote: Fresh baked bread — regular or whole wheat. I got whole wheat. It was very fresh and soft. I liked it much better than Subway’s semi-passable bread or Quizno’s crunchy toasted bread. Best comparison is to Jimmy John’s for softness. But Goodcents’ bread has better texture and flavor. Meats sliced to order — very nice to have fresh sliced meat. And it tasted fresh. Nice! I got the Goodcents original. A good choice. It was a mixture of meats, and I got the standard toppings(tomato, lettuce, pickles, etc). You can get the standard dress, add more, or pick all your own toppings. Sub sizes come in 4″, 8″, 12″ or 16″. Price — comparable and/or virtually the same as Subway. Come to Goodcents instead of the other sub sandwich chains. You won’t be disappointed.

I normally don’t bother rating chains this big but I had to after what the manager did for me. I go here frequently because it is so close to where i work when I’m in town and the food is ok. I lost my frequent dinners card this place has. He asked me where it was at and I told him I lost it. He was oh thats not a problem picked up a new card and punched 5 visits for me which was pretty darn kewl. Oh he moved his business across the street before the rail road tracks apparently the old location is being torn down or something.
