I give this place two stars because the food was okay. The place looked Nice and was clean. However, the customer service with this place was horrendous. I had to get up several times to get any attention from the waiter. Will not be returning.

This is Sunday afternoon and I will reheat my «pillows from heaven» empanadas. I finally went to this restaurant three days ago after driving by it for years. Delicious food and great service. My daughter had the complete breakfast with longanisa it was delicious I ordered the lengua in salsa which was as delicious. We ate every flavor of empanadas vegetable, beef and chicken they serve them with chimichurri style salsa that is spicy and so delicious. This place rocks with delicious food so good. we went back for empanadas the next day with my friend who has also been driving by for years and she loved them too glad we went to a new place it’s cute inside and i so highly recommend it

I was so happy to find this gem in Chatsworth! I felt giddy(or felt like was smiling on the inside) throughout breakfast because of this really great inexpensive breakfast find. I walked into an empty restaurant. The woman spoke to me completely in Spanish when taking my order which I enjoyed listening to and replying back in my not perfect Spanish. I ordered the complete breakfast plate including your choice of meat, arepa with butter on the side, mixed rice and beans, Colombian-style eggs, side of cheese bread(very similar to Brazilian cheese bread), and café au lait. I loved the salsa picante that she brought over to me. The hospitality was so friendly and warm, I enjoyed the experience so much. I can’t wait to return again to try more Colombian dishes and experience the warm hospitality.

Huge, flavorful portions. You know how at some restaurants they’ll give you one of the other(large portions or flavor)? Not this restaurant. To be honest, I saw my plate originally and wondered if it would be big enough(cause I was hAngry). But halfway through, I knew it was plenty. Tastebuds were happy and stomach was happy. Always a good combination when leaving a restaurant. Accidentally deleted my food photos not realizing that I hadn’t already posted them to Unilocal. But you get the gist of the portions from other photos. Restaurant is decent sized. Not the best location. Drove by it for years without noticing this gem. And have been more curious about the sandwich shop next door. But so glad that I stopped here first. Not as curious about the sandwiches anymore. Future trips to this corner plaza will be for this Columbian diamond in the rough only! Pricing is average. So inexpensive. Plus, portions are large enough to share. Do what we did: get two entrees to share and have tasty leftovers for the following day. Win-win for all! Parking is shared and max time limits. Not as large as would’ve hoped. But I don’t see it being bad enough where you wouldn’t find a slot. Remember: food adventures are out there. Eat ‘em up!

Love the empanadas from here, they taste better than the empanadas that I had in Cali, Colombia. They have a daily lunch special for $ 7.99 and it is always good food and huge portions. My daugher loves the bunuelos from here so we stop in on her way to school at least once a week to pick some up for breakfast. The Ox tail soup is great, the bisteak en salsa is great, the sancocho de gallina is great, I think everything that I’ve ordered here was great. The servers are always very friendly, they love my daughter, and the service is pretty fast. The restaurant is clean, never had to wait for a table, always a good experience when we go here. Would recommend this place to anyone just make sure that you try the empanadas.

My friend from Colombia brought me to Sazon. It was super good and I cannot wait to go back. She had me try a chorizo that is wrapped I don’t remember the name but it was super delicious and the arepas. I think that’s what they are called super good. I cant wait to go back!

I waited patiently for my delivery, when I got home I found out that one of my two orders was missing. Also, I ordered 16 empanadas, it wouldn’t kill them to include some salsa with the empanadas. The food is really good, but they need to improve service and get their act together.

Best Colombian food I’ve tried so far. I’ve tried other spots around the valley but this is the best. Its worth the 45 minute drive. The food taste amazing always fresh and delicious. The service is awesome. The portions are large. My favorite is the bandeja paisa it’s relay good and the beans it comes with are so good. The empanadas are also good, for the holidays we always order some with another plate called Picada it brings mini potatos sausage, morcia which is the blood sausage, chicharon, and yuca it’s really good always a hit at our gatherings.

Sazon is so, yummy! The service was very good. I felt like I was eating my Mom’s cooking. The empanadas were delicious. Arepas de chocolo were not on the menu, but they had them!!!

I phoned the restaurant an hour prior to my lunch to place an order and let them know I would be stopping by for lunch at 12. When I got to the restaurant they had reserved us a table and our food was brought out in 2 minutes, the food was delicious, the servers were accommodating and friendly. Compared to other Colombian restaurants in the area this place is better in regards to service and food.

This is our first time at a Columbian restaurant. The food is very good and tastes home made. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Parking is a breeze. Portions are huge the two of us split an entrée). Come early as there are only ten tables and they get filled fast. Take your time and enjoy this meal. The plates are well balanced and varied. We’ll definitely come back for more.

I was kind of sad that the lengua dish I got was super salty. It was hard to eat. The lengua itself was tender but the sauce is too salty for it to be enjoyable. The arepa was no Bueno. But the Chicharron was yummy. It’s really hard to mess up deep frying Chicharron though.

Love this place! I actually live 2 min away from another Colombian restaurant but prefer going to this one all the time. The service is great and the food is amazing! There portions are also pretty good. Try the Bandeja Paisa and don’t miss on the Empanadas. Oh and my all time favorite here is the Picada para dos it’s only like $ 22 and you can’t even finish it all.

Great food — after moving from Miami, I was in the lookout for a colombian restaurant that will satisfy my cravings. Found it! Had the bandeja paisa, arepa con carne desmellada and empanadas de carne. Everything was delicious. I just wished they had arepa de choclo!

Ok so we all know my grandma’s empanadas are the best but sometimes the craving is just too real and I can’t always conveniently drive 4 hours round trip just to pick some. Well, my mom brought Sazon empanadas home today and I definitely decided they are 2nd best!!! Sometimes it’s tough to find something pretty close to your grandma’s recipe and style but this place is spot on. My mom brought home 20 and they are huge! You could tell they were freshly cooked and the little burns I suffered when eating them without letting them cool down were no biggie. This is the new spot! I’m so stoked. It’s like nostalgia in my mouth.

Best Colombian food in Los Angeles. After visiting Colombia and trying many different Colombian restaurants, Sazon Colombia as my favorite. And I have returned many times for their excellent food. For this review, I’ll stick with my favorites dishes. The Aji perfectly compliments the delicious empanadas. Every piece on the bandeja paisa is tasty and the portions are huge. Finally the sancocho de cola is incredibly savory and filling. To top it all off, the staff is friendly and helpful. This place is off the beaten path in Chatsworth, and well worth the trek.

Our family is from Colombia. My parents took the chance on this restaurant and they were very pleased. They’re very proud or where they come from and the food that is served when ever some one is advertising authentic Colombian dishes. The price is reasonable and is well worth the food that is served there. The service was excellent and the food was a good representation of our country. They’ve only been around a couple of years, and hopefully will be around for quite a few more. Viva Colombia!

Food was Gooode! I had the plate with Colombian porks blood sausage. Where else can you get that! When I asked the server what was in it though she failed to tell me it was stuffed with rice. Service was slow. I had to ask for the check. I would come bk though. Update: went back & the owner is the best! Service much better. So up from 3 to 4 stars! Keep it up! However: If I could I would give it 3.5 stars. Service is definitely ehhhh. But love the food.
