The trail shop carries all sorts of equipment and gear for outdoor adventures. Because fleeces are so popular on UNC’s campus, they carry one of the largest fleece selections I have seen. They sell a lot of brands, including Mountain Rock Hardware, North Face, and the ever popular Rainbow sandals. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they can make a special order if they don’t have what you’re looking for. The small space is the biggest downfall, as they used to be in a larger store front on Franklin Street, but they still have an awesome selection (just in a cramped space).
