Really great costumer service. The past few times I have gone looking for hockey apparel. They don’t always have the greatest selection of Islanders, but overall my go to sporting goods store.

Standard Modells located in a suburban strip mall area. Decent selection of sports merchandise and apparel. Dropped in over the weekend to check out some football jerseys. Usually a lot of good sales here on shirts and sports apparel. Really good selection of sneakers too as with most Modells locations. Not a bad spot to get sports gear and such, and much cheaper than many places up in the Smith Haven Mall a few minutes away.

I have been shopping Mo’s for a loooooong time and this is now one of my favorites. They have a huge team appeal section make this a regular stop for me now when i came to visit.
This trip i was looking for a Yankee t-​shirt for my step son and was unable to find the one i wanted in his size. The employee helping me offered to go above and beyond and call some other stores to see if they had it in stock for me. That’s what I call customer service.

But really, they have great sales on things they want to get rid of, cheap t-​shirts/​sweatshirts, lots of sports equipment, and an extensive sneaker selection. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly (if I do say so myself) and although this is a chain store, it has a hometown feel. Modell’s, for all your sporting goods needs…
