Tony’s Burgers

We decided to try this spot since we were craving a burger and this place has good Unilocal reviews. They sure lived up to them. We were greeted right away, sat down right away and when it came time to order I was craving animal style fries from in-​n-​out, (in-​n-​out isn’t very local). The server Marcos was nice enough to ask the cook to make what I was craving… And guess what… They were amazing!!! My family all tried different burgers and loved them! I had the Godfather, which was the best burger I have had in a very long time. Our server was super attentive and friendly and even recommended some kid friendly places to take our kids. (Since we are from LA).
Thanks Marcos! You were great!!! Next time we are in the area, we’ll stop by again.

I came here the other day based on the great reviews. The burgers are pretty darn good. I got a burger with bleu cheese. My wife got a burger without the bun. My daughter got the grilled cheese sandwich, which she gave two thumbs up to. I had to take off a bit of the bleu cheese because it overpowered the burger but that’s what you get with bleu cheese. It ain’t a subtle flavor.
The sweet potato fries were yummy. A half size was plenty for us. I think the regular fries are even better.
I gave it four stars simply because the burgers weren’t the best I’ve ever had. That distinction goes to Hugo’s in Fayetteville, AR. But you can’t go wrong with these burgers.
It’s located in the corner of a fairly dead strip mall, so there’s plenty of parking available.

Good food Great ice cubes awesome fries and numerous choices on menu! One slip up cook forgot bacon. On a BLT we got a good laugh over it!

Best burgers in the Valley… sorry Grill-​a-​burger-​love you too but these are better. personally, I don’t like burgers bigger than one’s mouth, like these – but they are so good, I’ll overlook. Great combinations, great service. Who could ask for more?

Had a gathering for a birthday party last night and the food selections were off the chart! Omg so many delicious choices! I chose the bacon and bleu cheese burger. We got all the choices of fries: parmesan, cajun, garlic, truffle oil, regular! Someone got the fried avocado although I didn’t try it I heard it was good. The onion rings practically melt in your mouth! Unfortunately we will have to come back to this place after I lose another 5 lbs! So delicious! Everyone’s plate was empty when we left! Atmosphere was good. Diego and Rafael were awesome in taking care of us, Thank you!

This place was a nice little find. After a day of hiking, my girlfriend and I decided to check this place out and we were glad we did. This place was located right next to the In-​Shape gym in Cat City. I got their Bacon burger while my girlfriend got the Aloha burger. Both of the burgers were very tasty and tender. We also shared a side of their garlic truffle fries and man oh man were those some damn good fries! Definitely a must try! Will come again to try out their other burgers.

Visiting from Los Angeles and looking for a good burger and came across Tony’s on Unilocal,seriously amazing!!!

I moved to cat city about 9 months ago. Before I even moved here I checked out this place and was impressed with the quality of food for the price. The burgers are exactly what I want in a burger, all of the burgers in the menu have ingredients that all sound so complimentary and we’ll crafted, and they don’t disappoint when you order. These burgers are massive and juicy and jam packed with ingredients that can make it hard to fit the whole thing in your mouth! They always get the burger the way I want it cooked too. Every time I order a medium rare it has the exact same amount of pink, something that can’t be said for far too many burger joints!
The icing on the cake is that this place was still only 3 months old when I first visited and I just assumed it was a local joint with lots of loyalty because there were so many people inside enjoying their food, and the food came out wonderfully prepared and quickly. This is a joint that I hope will maintain its quality and be around for a long time to come!
Btw, try the advacado fries! They are superb.

So I heard this place was awesome, not so much. Burgers are big, buns are bigger than meat it shrunk. Not that flavorful. It was ok, service is good and friendly. Truffle fries tasted more like garlic fries. They do give you a lot but make sure you like it before you order.

Best burger in the desert and they have gluten free buns. I wish i could buy these buns in the store. They have a ton of burger choices, I get a different one each time. They also have sandwiches and salads. Everything is GREAT. Fries and rings are separate but if you get them you will want to share because the orders are huge. Amazing service and everyone is friendly.

Wow! This place is what happens when a serious passion for delicious hamburgers crashes into a talent for pleasing people.
The waiter dialed us into the perfect burger for us to try. The fantasy we split… the meat was tenderly made into a patty cooked perfectly blue cheese crumbles bacon fresh mushrooms and onion straws. any cow I have ever seen would be proud to give it’s life to be in this burger.
They accomodated us with half garlic fries and half onion rings… delicious. satisfying. the iced tea was perfect down to the sonic style ice…
Quite honestly the only reason I didnt give them five stars was because they are in palm desert and I live in Arizona.
This place satisfied more than my ample belly.

We passed by this place many times when traveling up and down Date Palm Drive, and finally decided to give Tony’s a try. So glad we did!
Hands down, our new favorite burger place in the desert. We have finally stopped searching. We have been searching since the Boll Weevil (in San Diego) went by the wayside years ago. The burger patty itself is quality.
So far we have had Tony’s Special Patty Melt, The Love Hater (twice), Aloha Burger, and Tony’s Classic Cheeseburger (twice: one with American and one with Swiss). And we can order them «rare» and «medium rare». They are well constructed, juicy, and the buns actually taste good. So many places fail with their buns; either low quality, dried out, or stale… not here.
We have tried the Sweet Potato Fries, the Garlic Fries, and Tony’s Homemade Fries (fresh cut). They are served cone style and one order is enough for two people. The Sweet Potato fries were very good. As were the Garlic Fires (know the minced garlic is raw). Our favorite so far… the Homemade Fries… we asked for Malt Vinegar to soak them, and they were wonderful that way.
The wait service seem happy to be there… they work their tails off. And for the quality and quantity of food served, the prices are very reasonable.
Looking forward to many more visits to Tony’s trying the various burgers offered and curious to try some of their Special Plates and Salads.

Food looked great. Tasted good. Went bad when I found a hair in my burger that was obviously not mine. When I told the manager about it, he was asked if I was sure it was not mine. Not even a close match for anyone in my party. With an additude about it, he removed the charge from our bill. No apology. Just didn’t care.
Look, a hair in your food is going to happen on occasion. I get that. What matters is how it is handled. It obviously was not a hair from us. Accept it happens, satisfy the customer and move on…

Heard lots of great things about Tonys and felt kinda let down. The burgers were great with fresh toppings, but the onions and tomatoes over powered the actual burger. I love the fresh ingredients, but maybe offer grilled onions so they dont over power the flavor of the meat. I’ll be back and try somethign different.

Simply perfect for a great tasting burger. My burger was made to order, cooked perfectly, and ready quickly. I did a carb friendly lettuce wrapped.
Add a drink, and lunch was an easy $ 10 and change.

A diverse menu has a page dedicated to different burgers. The menu does not do justice to what is actually served and they need to add pictures.

A solid piece of meat combined with specialty cheese and sauce and garnished with bacon, peppers, fresh produce, and a steak knife. I ordered medium well and the meat itself was well done. Still, the meat was tasty and the burger in its entirety is a must try. Order this medium!

This is a must try for any burger lover or foodie. Burgers are great and range in names from The Infierno, The Hulk, Sexy Mama… and my favorite. The Frankenstein!
I am more than a fan!

The other day I had a craving for a hamburger. This rarely happens so I knew I would have to get a burger that would fulfill that craving. I decided to take a little drive and head over to Tony’s Burgers.
The place is located in the concave corner of a grey shopping mall next to some other restaurants. From the street it is a little difficult to spot.
Having Unilocaled the place previously I thought I knew what burger I wanted to try, but after sitting down and looking at the menu’s vast amount of choices, I changed my mind (I’m probably not alone on this.) Anyway, I ordered my drink and the Mini Mouth. My guest had the Popeye Ye Ye and we split a half order of Truffle Fries.
After ordering I had some time to look around the room. I give Tony’s four stars because it has no main theme other than a cross between a sports bar and family restaurant. There’s the option of sitting at the bar and looking into the kitchen with a TV nearby, which may attract a happy hour or sport fan type of crowd. In addition, there are big enough guy booths for families and the tables are spaced out from one another giving a more airy feel.
When the waitress arrived with the drinks, she made discussion with us about stuff we had on the table. She was curious about them and took her time to chat with us while waiting for our food. It felt welcoming, and I even commented later that I felt like I have known her for a while.
When the food arrived the burgers were presented nicely– piled high and plump. My Mini Mouth was just the right size for, well, a mini mouth or whoever. It was juicy and not flat with the special sauce. I stole a small bite of the Popeye. I see why it’s named so as they did not skimp on the spinach. The truffle fries could have used some more truffle seasoning, bit the flavor was there. Trying both burgers was definitely worth forgetting my lactose pills.
All in all, great experience at Tony’s. I’ll be in again to try something new, lactose pills in hand.

This is a large restaurant — not a ton of style but they make up for it in friendly service and good food.
I had the sexy mama #16 and its was exactly what I wanted — most important– I ordered medium and it was a nice pink inside!
My hubs ordered the cheeseburger and was also quite pleased. Nice meat patty and good toppings.
We shared a full order of fries with the basil mayo. Make no mistake — a full order us enough for 3 – 4 people. We had plenty left over!
