I’ve given up on this place. Boyfriend loves it for their seafood. Their food is nothing special. It’s okay but it’s neither good nor great. Took my niece early this morning & the salsa for the chips had «no flavor» really watery & strange. One star, but the extra star is because staff is really friendly & the food gets to your table fast.

Went here with my boyfriend because we saw a sign off the freeway with seafood that looked yum. We went and were not disappointed… Food was yummy fresh and great priced! If you want authentic Mexican food check this place out.

Chips and salsa were ok. They had some green salsa that I got the last of that was very tasty. I ordered a quesadilla and two tacos. The quesadilla was loaded with cheese and the tacos were full of meat. Service was a little slow, but I was not in a hurry. I was never offered a glass of water. I’ll be back again, but the area is saturated with other Mexican restaurants that it makes it a tough decision to make when you are hungry. Worth checking out.

Ever since my first time trying this restaurant with my wife I have been hooked. It’s a quaint Mexican restaurant located in Cathedral City. Everything I’ve tried so far has been great and I never hesitated coming here when my wife feels the urge to come. I try to order something different each and every time I come.

Ate here for the first time last night. I had seen the billboard advertisements when we rolled into town, then again on Google maps. The reviews seemed good, so we tried it instead of Las Casuelas.
Walking up to the restaurant, I was surprised to see the bright lights… it seemed like a café or diner. Was having second thoughts, but went in and got seated.
We had great and prompt service. They had a good drink selection. I had the Carne Asada plate, which was delicious. The beans were good. My fiancé did not like her Carne tacos or beans. Other family members had the sampler plate and enjoyed it.
I would consider eating here again, but there are other restraunts in the area that I personally feel are better.

Never ate here before but decided to try it given all the commercials they have. We were waiting to pick up from Carter Animal Hospital nearby. So glad we decided to stop in. The $ 3.50 Margaritas they serve all day are really good. My husband enjoyed his Chabela. I ordered a Chili Verde burrito which was excellent! My husband also liked his Carne Asada burrito. We will definitely be back soon!

The food was authentic and very ethnic.
I had the Ensalada. Nothing special because there’s was no house dressing. I just had thousand island.
There were several other dishes tried and enjoyed. I had the 7 Mares or 7 Seas.
it was said to have octopus and squid but I couldn’t discern if there was. There were small shrimp, different kinds of fish, a giant clam and some crab legs. The soup was fishy and lightly spicy.
I never got my 5% off but I never asked for it because my bill was only about $ 20.

Desert Hot Springs, CA

This is the Cat City location of my favorite DHS restaurant (which unfortunately has DHS patrons). This location is quieter, less busy, and more, umm, civilized. At least I haven’t encountered any diners here playing music loudly or watching movies on their phone like at DHS (or groups of badly behaved teens).
Casa Blanca offers a great selection of Mexican entrées, ranging from burritos and quesadillas to fresh oysters and campechana (one of my favs). I recommend all their seafood! They also have a kids menu that offers items like chicken nuggets and fries for less adventurous children.
The margaritas are tasty… not too sweet… and are half off during happy hour and all day on Tuesday and Thursday.
