This place is great, I love LOVE the French toast and the chicken! The manager is such a sweetheart. His name is Alfredo and my goodness he’s seriously the most kind and respectful restaurant manager I’ve ever met! I’ve been there multiple times and every time he is there, he’s is always so kind and on top of things! My favorite IHOP location!

Me and my wife eat here around 3 times a month. Today ended our repeat business. .my wife ordered the red white and blue pancakes. What she got was astonishing. … she keep saying i taste bananas.. she then flip the pancakes over and there they were. Her pancakes were a send back order and then gave to her. This is bad for business. …

Although a chain restaurant this particular one is really heads above similar places. The food is always right on and plenty of it. Selections are fantastic with so many choices. Servers are friendly and on top of things. Even when they have been busy our needs were well met.

Came here for the first time with my bf and tried the food and it was delicious. The only thing upsetting was the bad waitress here at this ihop. I felt like she forgot about us her name tag said alondra. My boyfriends glass of oj was empty way before he even finished his meal so I gave him some of mine. I had to ask the host to get my waitress for me so that she can bring the bill.

In my opinion, the service here was great. We originally wanted to go to Michael’s café but they weren’t opened until another month!!! Anyways, waiter was definitely nice. The service was quick even though people kept coming in! It was definitely busy but our waiter was quick to get our orders. Food came out within 15 – 20 minutes. I ordered pancakes with fruits. The fruits were fresh and the pancakes were not soggy. It definitely made my morning. I’m giving it a four star because I still think there are some room for more improvement(i.e. more staff to help etc).

Great food. Our server was okay. But I don’t recall when it became okay to sit at the hostess station with your cell phone and BS while there’s a line and not even acknowledge customers. Tisk tisk. A couple minutes later the manager caught on and told her right away to get rid of her phone and get to work. Her response was ‘I’m on break.’ So he told her to go outside or go somewhere else. Kudos to him, he was hustling people left and right to get the tables cleared and keep things moving. Effective manager for sure.

IHOP is perfect for what I need it to be — open early, late or 24 hours… Large booths even if I’m eating alone so I can spread out to work and huge HUGE omelets that I can tailor to what I want.(Avocado, bacon. Broccoli !!! –Many places don’t have broccoli to add to omeletted-spinach mushroom no cheese egg whites) The pot/pitcher of coffee makes it easy to get my caffeine fix. Most large cities have one. Palm Springs area seems to have two. I like this location which seems less crowded than the one in the«cooler» area closer to the strand. The service is great at both, but at the other I may feel a tad rushed knowing people are waiting. Oops! I take back the not feeling rushed to leave part — after paying for the meal and tipping 30% and asking for more coffee I was asked how much longer would I be because it was so busy … :(

Excellent IHOP! So convenient too! In my neighborhood! came here on national pancake day & the place was crazy busy but only waited 5 – 10 minutes for a table the hostess was very friendly & amicable & the manager Alfredo was making sure everyone was taken care of! I can’t wait to come back again for an amazing breakfast! Definitely best ihop in the desert!

I’ve always loved the German crepes. Ask for boysenberry syrup as nowadays IHOP keeps it hidden from the public. Don’t like how they give you so much in an open little dish with a spoon — could see dust and clingy things floating on top. :/Other than that, it’s a pretty darn good breakie if you order with bacon. Coffee not that good, but what breakfast franchise does? 4 stars are only for the German crepes. Love those.

I’m suprised there is no line and no wait for a Friday late morning. The service was great and not to mention the heart attack breakfast. No wonder most Americans are fat. This location scored 100 on food inspection. That’s a huge plus!

Came to this IHOP by my kids’ request. This is a decent IHOP in the desert. Standard IHOP service, food, and décor, etc. I was a bit turned off by the presence of food on the floor. The staff seems to pretend like it doesn’t exist. Otherwise the breakfast fare is great and will continue to return to IHOP.

Had a good time. Had their chicken and waffles. They were really good. My husband is really picky about his coffee and said it was not bad. It was a nice stop to take after the movie we saw. Service was really nice and quick. They made us feel at home.

I went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We didn’t have to wait because we opted for a table(you’d probably have to wait for a booth). The menu was large but consisted of different combinations of the same thing. I ordered the classic breakfast combo. It came with hash browns, eggs, sausage or bacon and a side of waffles. The picture of the berry waffles looked amazing but that wasn’t the case when they put it on the table. It was a squirt of questionable paste(cream?). The picture in the menu showed a dollop of fresh cream and I got a squiggle of creamy paste. It was way too sweet and the waffles were soggy from the syrup drenched strawberries and blueberries. I should of asked for the fruit/cream on the side because no one likes a soggy waffle. The other items on my plate were fine. Nothing special but it’s hard to mess up bacon, eggs and hash brown. I’m giving them 3 stars instead of 2 because of the excellent service. Our waitress was very nice and attentive.

It’s an IHOP. I would usually only give 3 stars for a place like this… but this place gets a bump because of their server. Except unlike some other IHOPs I’ve been to, this place had a fabulous waitress who was just on it.(Sorry I don’t remember your name!) Took care of my kid’s order, with all of their special requests and substitutions and never made me wait for anything. And even though it was a weekend morning, the place wasn’t a zoo but she was handling multiple days and taking care of em like a pro.

IHOP has improved during the economic downturn offering budget plates and calorie responsible options. It’s better than most chain breakfast places, but you can’t expect fine dining at less than $ 10 for a full meal. It’s a good option for a quick, non-descript meal. If you wanted fine dining, you probably wouldn’t be checking for IHOP. But it is pretty good value.

This is by far our favorite IHOP. The one at Monterey & Dinah Shore always seems so rushed that we can’t really feel like we’re eating a leisurely meal. Of course, they are right next to the I-10 means they must be full of travelers. After picking up some goodies at the Fil-Am Market across the street(see my updated review), we needed a quick bite and IHOP is the closest place. Wifie and I were not really hungry enough for a whole meal deal, so we decided to just split a sandwich. Actually, that is about what any sensible people ought to eat, anyway. We see all these stories on TV about America’s «obesity epidemic» and continue to stuff ourselves. But I digress… I saw something new on the menu — and, no, it wasn’t a ketchup stain. The Pot Roast Melt looked pretty good, and it definitely was! Yummy chunks of pot roast with gravy, and cheese melted on top, between a couple of slices of sourdough bread — mmmm! And the onion rings were done right, too. We got out the door for $ 11.50(including tip) because we skipped the HFCS-laden sodas. Not bad to satisfy two people. You may diss IHOP but they are still in business, and that’s probably because their business model works.
