Winchell’s Doughnut House

Drove over an hour to get donuts late night. Fix your hours, your wasting people’s time.

The donuts here are so good there always warm and soft and the cashier was friendly and the place was so clean i really do recommend it to anyone :)

The donuts here are really good. They have a lot to choose from. The man behind the counter was really nice and the place was really clean.

The lady behind the counter was very friendly and professional. I don’t know if this store gets a lot of business; we were the only ones there for like 45 minutes. There were not many donuts available, but there was a good variety of offerings amongst those they did have (twists, bars, donut holes, and most of the standard ones). I remember the old Winchell’s — they had racks full of donuts, and coffee and sandwiches. Now, they’re down to «trays of donuts» and have transitioned their sandwiches from bread sandwiches to bagel sandwiches. The prices were very reasonable, although my friend got a coffee drink that was apparently not very good and it was $ 4. They also sell bagels individually and by the dozen, which I was unaware of. I would have gotten donuts but we ate at the Filipino resto next door and were stuffed. I always ranked Winchell’s a cut above Dunkin Donuts and nowadays, Dunkin is such a disappointment. Their focus seems to be almost completely off donuts and has moved towards coffee drinks and sandwiches. I’m glad Winchell’s is still going. I wish there were more of them in SoCal. They were huge in Oregon, competing neck and neck with Dunkin for many many years.

We finally have a winchell’s nearby!!! I love their donuts and the staff are extremely friendly!!! This will definitely be the only place I get my donut fix from. Really clean establishment and they have a big selection of deliciousness.
