This Denny’s needs to be shut down. It’s not a Denny’s if you go in after hours. There’s a «wait list» for service. If it’s busy, say for a festival like Coachella bringing in over 600000 people into town, they have a staff of one holding down the fort. A little foresight and people wouldn’t be walking away from the line and they could actually make money. Corporate should get involved in this mess of a place. Not worthy of the Denny’s brand.

This Dennys is horrible. We went there and our waitress did not check on us at all. She kept coming to the table next to us but would not come to our table. After asking multiple times we finally got our check. We went to the front counter and complained to the manager and he did not even apologize for the bad service. It’s disappointing to see people treat other people like that. Won’t be eating here again

Can you say salmonella? Went in to have a late lunch, around 1:45 they were not busy at all. I ordered a Cobb Salad with grilled chicken and boy what a disappointment! It came out in less than 5 minutes which made me a bit curious but when I dug in I knew why, the bacon pieces were raw, soggy and barely warm and the grilled chicken was almost raw. I took all of the meat out and just ate the lettuce because I was afraid of salmonella. The staff was busy behind the scenes talking and laughing and screwing around and not paying attention so they brought it to the table without noticing. They deducted $ 5 from my bill but it didn’t help me enjoy my lunch. If I wanted fast food and to be ignored I would have gone to McDonalds. My last trip to this place, it isn’t worth taking a chance with my health!

so bad. it belongs in a separate bad classification. denny’s corporate should be crying in shame… i am disgusted and appalled… you will se. i have write en very few reviews. so something must have stood out here. for me to take my valuable time to pen this… let’s start with last night. because this denny’s experience is in 3 parts. i am throwing a big party. late night. a few of my closest guests get hungry. i decided i will treat them all to denny’s. i call. get a new waiter on the phone. nice guy. clueless though. i oder. the bourbon burger. no green peppers, add a patty,. add swiss… easy. with fries. i order the chicken quesadilla, with salsa.(comes with sour cream.). but here is where it got diciey. i ordered the steak cobb… i bring it home. so glad my guests will be leaving, so i put it in the fridge)… now back to the burger… this was going to be shared by my most important business party guests… no extra cheese, no sauce… no grilled onions. but as i sat there listening to the new waiter trying to explain my order, all i saw was some hispanic cook. busting the balls of the new 20 something white guy waiter. i watched the whole thing play out… i have dined almost every meal of my life out, all around the world, i have seen this before, but not had a front row seat to the horror of it. but i was the vicitm! because instead of listening to the waiter. the fukin cook, decided to play power and screw with my requests like it did not matter. and i am paying, .so the young waiter gives me my order. i go up the hill to my home, no sauce on my burger, it is all wrong. now normally i would have just glossed it over, and has my guests eat it. but. i watched the nonsense and nonprofessional behavior of this cook unfold, and the hoops he made this new young waiter jump through. so i brought it back. yep, 3 am, i had to go back and get it right. hell it was a $ 50.00 order!.. now i get back. tell the waiter the problem, and that cook starts in again on him… why is this cook working for denny’s!!! hey corporate //why?.. now i have been subject to of the ugliest experiences in a restaurant i have ever seen. takes forever. my guests are starving. and an hour later.(after telling them, ’ ok, i think we need new hot fries with the burger. which is now cold) i leave. tipping him 20 [percent. he is shocked. but hey… thye work for the tips… now cut to tongiht. my last guest leaves. i open the salad. and it is disgusting. dried up meat. no bacon as per menu. short and egg, and a piece of avocado, and no greens to speak of. all for about $ 12.00 maybe more… so i am pissed. i grab it go down to the restaurant again… third time!!! and confront the waitress. on duty. i want it made again… she looks at it. but still makes me explain what is wrong with it… like she could not see it. i said. ’ would you eat this. seriously… ”, i wish i had taken a picture of the meat. it looked like dried up cat turds., she says” i don’t eat this salad. so i would not know’… really… that is your employee… well, obviously. she knows it is garbage… they remake it. begrudging. i ask for extras dressing… and when i get home. surprise. it is not there… but i was just too too tired for a 4rth trip… avoid this place. it is garbage, the food sucks. the cook indifferent. the service horrible… and denny’s… get it together… you are better than this monstrosity! but until they do an overhaul. head 2 clocks up to dinah shore, and date palm for your late night food fix., to jack in the box. it is better than this

This place is awful! I brought my elderly parents here for breakfast yesterday to thank them for caring for my house and dogs all week while I was in NY. Let’s just say I owe them another after this! I don’t often eat at Denny’s but they like it so here we came. First, they tried to take our order immediately and I asked for two minutes. A table near us ordered and had their food by the time she came back. My mom ordered the make-your-own grand slam with egg whites, grits, pancakes and yogurt. She puts the yogurt on the pancakes(old people!). When the food came and she did this, a black lumpy thing was visible in the white yogurt. We debated whether it was a drowned bug or just some unidentifiable goopy stuff but either way, we sent the yogurt covered black lump and pancakes back. After quite some time passed, the waitress walked by and I asked if my moms re-order had been placed at the end of the line because pancakes don’t take that long to cook. It seems they didn’t prioritize it because it took almost 15 minutes to make two pancakes. She apologized and said they had taken my mom’s breakfast off the check. As my mom stuck her knife in the butter on the pancakes, a very long blonde hair became visible. Mind you nobody at our table had hair like this. The table next to us had noticed everything going on and offered their sympathies. I told them I didn’t even want to mention it because at this point, we look like we’re crazy and making stuff up. But she vouched she had seen my mom pull the hair off and if they tried to question us, she had our backs. Awesome! Now armed with reinforcement, we again called over the waitress. The manager then came over and told us they had taken my mom’s food off AND offered us a 20% discount on the remainder of the bill. I made a snarky comment about how I now know a hair in your food is worth $ 5.90. Good to know the value of that. He then said they had taken my mom’s meal off also for it. NO! You took my mom’s meal off when there was a bug in her yogurt and then returned the longest cooked pancakes ever! The hair apparently only dictated 20% off the rest. So beware! At this place, you can have service take forever, get bugs AND hair in your food and still end up paying for most of your meal. I’m not one to normally want anything free because I feel like when you let them discount the check it allows them to shirk responsibility for providing a horrible breakfast experience and they can now blame it on you just trying to get something for free. But the fact that I had to still pay $ 30 for such a horrible experience really ticks me off! They should be ashamed of themselves for their handling of customer service. Come on Denny’s as much as I hate discounted checks, no arguing, you should have taken care of the whole bill on this one! This review is my only recourse and getting a little bit of satisfaction! Heed my warning and go less than two blocks down the street to The Palms for breakfast which is about the same price and much nicer. We will be heading there today for take 2!

You know I really haven’t been to Denny’s for the past 15 years I seem to always try to find new breakfast places to go. So we ended up here one Saturday morning and to my surprise it was pretty good. Fresh brewed tea a plus Blueberry pancakes were good but a little too sweet batter wise but ok Chicken sausage option was nice and tasty I guess we can come here every once in a while

They are obviously using the same mop to clean the restaurant eating area tile as the men’s room because it smells strongly of urine… gross The red skinned potatoes are not red skinned potatoes… are they people for real?

I like Denny’s… I like this Denny’s a lot. Get there a few times a year. Went 4÷24÷15. Had Great service. Always treated well by the staff at this location and that is why I drive the extra mile out of Palm Springs. Friday I had one of the best Grand Slams I have ever had. Everything was cooked Just Right. I hope you get the same all around good treatment. Yes, I understand 5 stars seems a bit over the top for a Denny’s but comparing apples to apples… my recent experience couldn’t be better.

Horrible experience all around. The waitress seemed stressed out the entire time. She let us know there was a new cook, which is why the food took so long to come out. The two skillets that were ordered came with eggs over medium but were completely overcooked. The country fried steak that was ordered came with virtually no gravy and the meat did not look like meat… And I only ordered one waffle, which did not arrive. About 7 minutes after all the food arrived, the waitress came out and informed me that the breakfast crew did not prep for waffles so they couldn’t make me any. Not sure why i wasn’t informed until about 15 minutes after I ordered, but okay. I don’t expect much from Denny’s to begin with, but this was even below my already low expectations. Impressive!

Came in on xmas evening. They placed us at a booth that was to cold where the ac was blowing on us. We asked the bus boy to clean a booth close by so we could move away from the cold air. Finally our waitress arrived and took are drink orders and then later our food. She seemed mind boggled with the busy surrounding. My sister ordered hot chocolate b4 we order the food. We hear a older lady ask our waitress for ranch and she tells her they ran out then later we see a different waitress bring ranch to another table. Our waitress brings the hot chocolate late and with a check like she is rushing us to leave asking us if we need anything else. I was like«no I’m still eating thanx» so after that the waitress ignores us the rest of the time were sitting at the table and finally the manager refills one of are cups when we tell him we’re having issues with our waitress. I check out and pay my bill, use the restroom and when I’m walking back she’s yelling at me I didn’t pay for my extra bacon I ordered that I need to pay like a extra 4 $ or something idk. She didn’t add it on the bill so what the heck that’s her fault. I say that’s fine I’ll pay for what it says it cost in the menu a 1.40 something. She arguing with me about the price I pulled out the menu and point at it to her and she still arguing with me. Finally the cashier guy steps in and says he’s going to charge me what it says in the menu. I told the cashier to cancel my previous bill because I wanted to take out my tip that I should have never left her but I was feeling sorry for her because it was busy in there but after she argued with me it really upset me and I felt she did not deserve no tip with a attitude like that. I work in retail so I know how the holidays could be but she was something else. I am a regular customer there. The only thing I was happy with was my fluffy pancakes I had been craving but after having to deal with bad customer service I had wish I would have just stayed home. I’ve never seen this unfriendly blonde Caucasian thick waitress before. Maybe she was holiday hire I don’t know but I don’t plan to come back to this Denny’s anymore after this experience.

Quite frankly if I could give this place ZERO stars I would, but unfortunately Unilocal doesn’t work that way. My husband and I have came here about 3 times and each time it was never a good experience. The menus are very dirty, always sticky. The salt shakers we used today on 12−3−14 were greasy and sticky as well. The service here is a joke. We ordered two strawberry lemonades, which is our usual, and instead of changing out the machine first, our waitress gave us watered down lemonade. Then, here’s the best part, proceeded to admit that she watered it down and made it seem like a hassle when we wanted to exchange it for something different. When we went to pay, my husband made it a point to tell the manager on duty about the incident and he was defending the worker, saying she didn’t say that, that it was the machine. How would you know what she said when you weren’t even present at the time! We left with our LAST bad experience and will NEVER return to this one again. We will stick to the Palm Springs location!

I was visiting my father who is in a senior care facility about 1 mile from here and saw the reviews and thought why not, it’s close and we really weren’t sure how my dad would fare being that he tires easily. We were greeted fairly quickly and seated. After some minutes we ordered our meals. We quickly noticed others that had come in after us were getting their meals and we had been waiting over 35 minutes. I got up to ask our waitress and she quickly told me she was sorry but with no explanation given. After 40 minutes our dishes arrived only for us to be disappointed in the low quality of the food. I felt so ashamed for taking my elderly father out to a restaurant that cares nothing about their patrons. We tried to force ourselves to eat a partial amount of what they served, it was disgusting and putrid. I should not have even paid but that’s not the kind of person I am. I don’t have a clue where these reviews came from but can only assume they’re not legitimate. Do yourself a favor and never push your luck, stay away as far as you can. Lastly no manager in sight to voice my complaints to. What a terribly run establishment.
