Pizza Hut

I still feel the same way about this Pizza Hut. I went back there 3 more times since my last review and each time just got worse. Unless they change the management or staff then don’t go to this pizza hut.

It’s just ok if you’re hungry. It’ll do. This is a review after 3 orders… I gave these people 3 chances. And to think that your company ranks in the top 5 industry sales for American pizza companies, well fuck me!
Again, straight up:
1.) I think I’ll develop immediate hypertension from eating one bite of this. My goodness, just how much salt is added to EVERYTHING you serve? Cut the crap before someone dies.
2.) You guys are less than a mile from me. I’m busy drowning in homework and hungry. Why on Earth does my food arrive cold, when you are so close? There is NO excuse.
3.) The brownie is good, but you could do without so many chocolate chips; it really makes it fall apart and turn into a mess.
4.) The pasta is ok. When I order extra meat and sauce, why does it seem like it is the same as the last pasta dish where I didn’t order extra meat? Do you ACTUALLY put extra on it like I am PAYING for? You certainly cannot tell the difference. Dreadful.
5.) Garlic knots huh? They are supposed to be filled with cheese? Horseshit. It’s just more bloated bread than you normally put on your pizza. Stuffed crust? Chickenshit. There is barely any cheese in there and it is not melted properly, it just curdles into a dreadful strand of sickness. Mortifying.
6. Your food is too salty, the pizza has too much bread, the thin crust came cooked far too hard like stone slabs, in this proximity, you shouldn’t be bringing me cold food or warm soda. If your online ordering system is inaccurate (which, IT IS, most certainly), then get rid of it. If the system tells me my pizza will be here in 29 minutes, I expect it around that time. Not 45min-​1hr. If you are busy, then update your delivery times. This is not hard for such a large pizza chain. It is just plain laziness and horrible management!

DONT COME HERE!!! I came here to pick up breadsticks and they where cold so I asked them to make them fresh politely and they said 15 minutes and I waited. Then when I came to pick them up Nikki tossed down the bread sticks very rudely. As I was leaving they said «hella irritating» so as I left I gave them the bird. When I came and sat in my car another employee comes out the store and starts cussing and comes up and bangs my window. She was ready to fight! I was trying to back out of parking space and she spits on my windshield! How ghetto! I felt threaten that she was gonna attack me if I didn’t lock my doors in time! Won’t ever come here again and you shouldn’t! P. S I called cooperate.

1÷12÷2015 Ordered a lrg 2 topping pizza, Muhammad drowned the pizza in Harracha sauce, so the pizza was wet and cold. I live like 3 blocks Away.
So i called to let him know, this was our 3^rd time ordering this pizza in 12 days and this was so spicy my lips burned and the kids didn’t want it.
Muhammad offered a $ 5 off next order, but would not remake pizza or give me back my $ 9.80 that I paid.
We wanted a remake, the $ 5 will only cover the delivery charge. WTF? I waited 20min outside for that and now I have hungry and angry kids… Jeeezzz. Now we gotta wait on Chinese food and $ 23 more dollars…

Called in order for $ 13 spcl, it was ready in 10. Young man was polite, prompt, helpful, & informative. Haven’t tried it yet since I’m on the way home. But tried one fr mission bl & D and it was very good

I ordered online and my order arrived within a timely manner. I tried one of the flavored crusts, the pretzel. I expected it to be an actual pretzel, but it was literally their regular crust covered in so much salt it was inedible. On a positive note the other pizza we ordered with the regular crust was delicious. Stay away from the salty crust.

Not only did this place randomly stop delivering to my house (which happens to be in Castro Valley), they sent us on a calling spree to all the Pizza Hut’s within a 10 mile radius. After calling THREE other Pizza Huts, and having all of them tell me that THIS is the location that will deliver to me, I called them back — determined to have pizza that night. As expected, nothing had changed on their end and my only option was carry out. I fail to understand how a pizza delivery service in Castro Valley does not deliver to certain residential areas in Castro Valley. I will be avoiding this place until they figure out this out.

If I could give a negative rating I would. Lavan made sure to give me her name and dared me to leave a negative review on Unilocal and said it didn’t matter at all. I’d like feedback from the management of this location that it’s Pizza Hut protocol to dare disgruntled customers to leave negative Unilocal reviews. I was told they were out of a certain size of pizza very rudely and when I said that wasn’t very good service she very rudely bye have a nice night. And then when I challenged her and set her service level is not OK with me she started yelling at me. Stay away from this location at all costs.

I’m going to have to find another pizza place in Castro Valley, which is a shame, because the pizza here is always great and this location is within walking distance from my house. The customer service here is so horrible that I am going to go out of my way to AVOID this location.
First visit– ordered carryout for a football party. Walked in the restaurant and was given the snottiest look by who I now know is a manager. They forgot to hand me half my order because they didn’t check the ticket. Left with all my food, came home (like a 2 minute drive) and both pizza and wings were cold.
Second visit– gave them the benefit of the doubt, maybe just an isolated experience last time. This time I used a coupon online SPECIFICALLY for this location for $ 14.99 for a large pizza and a cookie. Got a call from the restaurant a few minutes later saying they were out of cookies (really, do you really sell enough of those to run out?) and could they give me a brownie instead. Sure, sounds good. Arrived at the restaurant. First thing I saw were 2 – 3 people outside the door smoking cigarettes (gross). Walked in, and it took a few minutes for them to acknowledge me. The guy who helped me was nice enough, but when he told me my total was over $ 20, I asked why because I had used the coupon. He said he couldn’t change it and would get the manager. He went outside to the FRONT of the restaurant and the manager came in (same lady who helped me last time). I can only assume she was one of the ones smoking outside. She didn’t wash her hands before helping me. She said she didn’t know what coupon I was talking about and that since it’s a franchise location, she can’t change the price of my food. I showed her the email confirmation I received that my total was $ 16.41. She still insisted she didn’t know what I was talking about and refused the change the price. She did not act interested in helping me AT ALL and the only reason I paid for my food there was my family was hungry and it was late. As I left, she followed behind me back outside! SO unprofessional!
I have worked in the food industry before and know that it IS possible to change a price for a customer and that the fact that it is a pizza hut franchise has NOTHING to do with changing prices. If you are given the privilege of the manager position, you are given the privilege of changing prices. You are also given the responsibility to be sure each customer leaves happy, which was not done in this case.

Had a great experience I couldn’t believe it!!! It was super fast and easy !!‘I use to go to the one in Hayward by Target but I stopped because I always got bad service. I will definitely order from there again !!!

Sooooo, I am sorry but my experiences with this pizza hutt specifically are just annoying. I ALWAYS tell them to CALL me and NOT ring the doorbell. I always make it very clear. And what do you know, they’re right at my door ringing the doorbell when they deliver my pizza that barely has any cheese on it. The girl that delivered my pizza was young and she was very nice, but it was just awkward when she asked me to sign the receipt and when I asked her if she had a pen she said «no I forgot it. Do you have one.» Like it was just okay to have me go running back into the house for a pen when I’m hungry and just want my pizza. The pizza was cold on top of all of that. I just hope they get it together.

Wow, first time using this Pizza Hut and had a horrible experience with delivery. I ordered 2 pizzas online for delivery and the guy didn’t arrive until an hour and 15 minutes later. He apologized and tells me the story of how his register and computer messed up. Then asked if I was paying cash. I told him I paid online with a credit card. He proceeds to ask me to pay cash because he can’t confirm if the order paid or not. I told him I wasn’t going to give him cash when I have already been charged for the order. I showed him the email confirmation and says let me call the store. He can’t confirm with the store and decides to leave the pizzas with me, which he should have done to begin with instead of having us have an akward conversation at my front door for 10 minutes. At the end of it all, I was left with some lukewarm pizzas and one of the pizzas that was supposed to have extra cheese had barely enough to cover the sauce. I was more than patient with the guy and even gave him a tip just for coming out. I was very disappointed with my patronage of this store and will not be ordering from them again. Ymmv, but this place is not for me.

I love that the employees are welcoming and I am not saying that because I’m a regular I do reside in Castro Valley but I’ve been to many pizza huts and the customer service sucks not Castro Valley !!!

Estimated time of delivery: 7:19 pm. Time right now: 11:15pm, still no pizza. (No i didn’t wait, i got dinner elsewhere after calling at 745 and being told the driver left «15 minutes ago» then when i tried to call back no answer.) worst pizza hut i can think of ever having done (tried to do) business with. More than 4 hours later and they havent called or apologized. Disgusted. One star doesnt even begin to describe how unprofessional this establishment is.

I wish I could give this place zero starts but because the manager was so so I’ll call this a .5 star. I called and ordered a primo meat pizza. Here’s where I should’ve turned back. The guy on the phone was SO slow. He kept getting everything I was saying wrong. Didn’t know what kind of pizza I was talking about and kept telling me I was wrong. We agreed to disagree and get an all meat. Half hour later they call because my apartment number wasn’t included. After 500 times of repeating it. So they come up we pay they leave. Open the pizza and find a SMOOSHED, FOLDED, TRASHED pizza. Kevin was the driver. It looked like the driver had picked off it and threw it in his car. I call to speak to the manager immediately. Keegan was semi helpful. After telling me he didn’t know how to refund he said he would make a new one and hand deliver it. The pizza was disgusting but I should’ve known better. Shame on me.
Needless to say this place is literally horrible. Just don’t.

Worse pizza place in town. Ordered a pizza at 545. Called at 735 telling them to cancel delivery. 2^nd and last time I ever order from here. First time pizza was cold and over cooked. Worse service ever

3 stars because their online ordering doesn’t seem to be working for delivery. It allows you to do carry out but says delivery is unavailable with that location. It was frustrating that I had to call in instead. Other than that, the pizza arrived on time and was still fairly warm. Pizza hut is probably my favorite pizza and this place does a fairly good job with the pizzas themselves.

A bit on the slow, but not from a lack of effort. Maybe from being «new». My biggest complaint lies in the food quality itself. Pizza kinda grosses me out. Total lack of ingredients (toppings) and once there was literally like no cheese on the pizza just baked sauce. .gotta laugh. What really turned me off the P.H. was I actually witnessed them spraying some buttery type chemical looking stuff on the dough. Looks unhealthy to say the least. Not a big fan!

I would normally rate 4 for this location but sure why not 5? They are always fast and the pizza is always hot. Pizza hut is what it is, and never a problem here. Rainy nights expect your pizza to take longer, 3 day weekends/​holidays yes it takes a while but trust me everyone else is waiting too. no matter where you order from. know what to expect. I prefer hand tossed or thin. and the wings are good. Last pizza was hand tossed white sauce chicken bacon mushrooms (green onion would have been good with it too) with buffalo drizzle and it was bomb.

I’ll start by saying I normally go to the PizzaHut on Mission in Hayward, which isn’t the best, but blows the Castro Valley location out the water!
If you are going to have a comments section on your order, then you should read them. I asked for my pizza to be double cut and BBQ sauce on half and neither happened. In addition, I asked for the butter herb seasoning on the crust, that didn’t happen either. It was dry as hell! I ordered extra sauce and there was no sauce on my pizza. WTF ?! It was like they read my order and decided it was too complicated and made what they wanted! I will never go to this Pizza Hut again.
I called in the store to complain and asked to speak to the manager… I was told he was busy and told me to wait. Throughout my waiting, I was asked who I was multiple times! Which was strange, I’m a customer, who else would be calling?! I was ready to say Michelle Obama. Lol.
Terrible pizza and terrible service!
