El Pollo Loco

I’e only been inside once to have lunch. but I go thru the drive thru all the time for lunch. Staff is friendly and food is always great. I get fast service when it’s not busy but when it is busy the wait isn’t as bad as the one by where I live.

Got here at 9:25 and they told me they’re out of Mac and cheese went to place my order they also informed me they are out of chicken because they’re closing in 35 minutes. Should change the name to no loco pollo. Because they have no crazy chicken

The salsa was bad (old), some of the rice was hard and the churros are terrible. Chicken and beans were good. Good customer service.

Good food, good service, you can depend on consistent quality at El Pollo Loco.

Love their family meal deals. Great food, great price. Try their cilantro sauce on salad, or inside a tortilla w/​their chicken. Good stuff.

I got in line right at closing time and thought I would be okay. There was a car in front on me ordering food. When I got up to the speaker to order, the girl told me that they were closed. I then had to wait 5 minutes in line and watch the car in front of me get food while I was trapped in the drive thru. Haley was the girl working the drive thru. Really??? Not good customer service.

We are regulars here and get great service each time, drive through primarily.
I have eaten inside on a few occasions and this location has been clean and well kept each time.
On occasion the service is a little slow, but the staff is friendly and the food is always great. If there is a hold up for some reason they apologize instead of ignoring it and make up for the delay with friendly service.

This place was A-​OK. The service was friendly, the main restaurant was clean, and the food was tasty enough for a Pollo Loco. I would go again if in Castaic.

This review is for 10/​08/​2010, not today. Of course, my anniversary date on Unilocal is coming soon and I need to visit all the Castaic locations before I reset and try to get my 2011 Elite Status. I wasn’t in the mood for burgers, but I was thinking of going to a taco truck, but realized that I had no cash on me. El Pollo Loco is the closest I can do for a Friday.
The El Pollo Loco is right next to the Popeyes (Horrible Place). It seems that no one was visiting this location. I didn’t know El Pollo Loco had a Value Menu, but its good to know for next time. I just ordered an Ultimate Burrito Combo with Mac n’ Cheese with a medium Dr. Pepper ($ 7.59). My total was $ 8.33. After I paid, the employee gave me a bunch of coupons for some reason. I guess they are throwing them away since the coupons expire on the 10÷18÷10. I guess they want my business.
The burrito is nothing special, but the Mac n’ Cheese is always a favorite. Unless the next door Popeyes ruins it. The burrito was crunchy and the noticeable ingredient was the guacamole. Nothing special… This is not the Kogi Truck… lol.
Since Davey G. has written a review for the interior of the El Pollo Loco, I guess I won’t be going inside just to see the mess on the floor. It was a quick grab lunch and back to work, but the location is quite convenient. I think I am the Mayor now since I know this place. Hmmm… where in Castaic is Ryan going next?
