Pizza Factory

Worst costumer service. Called to pick up a pizza and was on hold for for 10 mins. When I finally spoke to the female employee she told me to get 2 pizzas it would take 25 mins. I asked why so long and she magically stated it would only be 10 mins. When I asked how the time changed she just hung up on me. Upon immediately driving by to another place, I looked in and no customers were present. Won’t go back there.

Such good pizza their buffet is kind of sorry since they don’t replace it until it’s gone which means it could be sitting there for who knows how long but the pizza is one of my favorites

My new fav local pizza place! I ordered a mini pizza and salad to go. The staff was friendly and quick to cook my pizza. I was surprise there wasn’t more people there, because this place is really good! The salad buffet was surprisingly kept clean, and covered from anything falling into it. Plus as weird as it sounds, they hv the best crushed ice there too! I will def be bck again and again! :)

Driving up to the bay we pulled off on the last exit before the grapevine for Starbucks and saw this place.
Made a salad at the salad bar and got a medium pizza with olives and bell peppers. Perfect for our little road trip.
Clean, quick, convenient and a great alternative to «fast food» and typical road trip options.

We’ve ordered several times for pick up– they always get the order right, its always quick, on time, and the food is good. Its not gourmet, but its good pizza and its my favorite food group, so I’m definitely a critic. The price is typical of Southern California, meaning if you grew up somewhere else, you have permanent sticker shock when paying for meals. A large combo with tip is about $ 24. Not bad for a quick dinner when the pizza monster calls…

If you order an actual full pizza for pick-​up/​delivery it’s pretty good. I went here for the lunch special though and was totally grossed out. Just buffet style pizza that looked like it had been sitting out for hours. Salad bar had very little salad. Wouldn’t recommend for lunch but if you’re ordering fresh it’s not bad.

Only ordered for pickup, but it was ready right on time and made right. Not the cheapest pizza out there but I will pay for quality and the Western style BBQ chicken pizza was delicious. Love supporting local spots, and I know its a chain but I grew up in the town where Pizza Factory started, I will be back!

The pizza factory noontime buffet is a good value. For $ 6.99 you get pizza bread sticks salad AND a drink. My daughter and granddaughter stopped here this week and the pizza was fresh and so was the salad condiments. The ladies who were working greeted us as we entered and as we left, they were nice attentive people. I would recomend this place and we will be back.

Food was … inedible? Pasta was mushy, sauce tasted like it came out of a can. I could probably make this stuff at home and have it taste better. Not at all impressed.

With work going like crazy, only one of my supervisors went with me to lunch. Every week, we have gone to the same places for lunch, but there was one place I never knew about. There are no Shakey’s Restaurants in the Santa Clarita Valley, but I did find a better substitute. Possibly a whole replacement. Shakey’s watch out for the Pizza Factory in Castaic.
Originally, we were supposed to go to Telly’s, but as we were driving up to Telly’s, my boss told me about the Pizza Factory and how it seems empty from the outside it looked. He was right. We arrived around 12:10pm and it was empty. From 11am to 2ppm, the Pizza Factory had an All You Can Eat for $ 6.99 and it includes a SODA. Watch out Shakey’s. The restaurant is small, but the amount of people that was and would be there for lunch was just right. The total was $ 7.40.
Although they do not have other amenities and sides (Spaghetti, Mojo Potatoes, and etc), it was good for an hour lunch break. Their slices are much bigger than Shakey’s and better cooked. Although Pizza Factory serves two-​three plates of pizza at a time, its enough to feed the customers and there is less waiting. Pizzas range from cheese to pepperoni to veggie. The staff always rotate the pizzas and its never empty. The salad bar has a big amount choices and I like it. I was glad that we came in because LA Rescue and Lifeguards came in. Its 50 degrees outside… we need them in this cold weather?! Then ABC7 was showing a fire in Montebello with a tanker up in flames. I was laughing with the Rescue personnel when they were watching on the flatscreen.
Overall, I am glad to have found a new place for lunch with my boss. I have pretty much explored much of Castaic and might even have to Mayor that place. With the cold season started, I am afraid that this place will be packed with the high probability of the Grapevine Closing. I wonder what other places I haven’t quite dined at. If you’re still wondering where I am with my weight. I am at 242lbs. 88lbs lost. I got two weeks left before 2011 is over and I think I can lose more… EEEEEKKK…
I think I need a new catchphrase for 2012.

I love this place! The pizza’s great! I love the lunch buffet. I have never seen a pizza buffet with such a variety of pizzas/​toppings. The taste is just right and flavorful. MY son sadly tried their pizza challenge and «failed» but I don’t blame him LOL. That is one MEAN PIZZA!
Service is great and the owners there are very welcoming and I have to admit that only after my third time in for lunch I was actually greeted by name! That’s an attentive business owner!

Best pizza in Castaic. Always consistent. Give them a try.

I love this place, I have been going to Pizza Factory when they were still on Newhall Ranch Rd. in Valencia. Even though they are up in Castaic, I would still make a drive to get their pizza. I have never seen a pizza with so much toppings. They taste is just right and flavorful. The two pizzas that you have to try is the Factory Special and if you love meat… The Viking is your choice. Service is great and the owners there are very humble and welcoming. Pizza Factory to me is like Cheers… you go to a place where everybody knows your name. This place is a family run business even though it is a franchise. They also have a pizza challenge, it’s a 5lbs pizza with crazy toppings for days and a three layer crust. You have to finish that in 45 mins and you get it for free and have your picture up on the wall. So far, some have come close to finishing it but, no winner yet. All I can say is Pizza Factory FTW!!!

hte plain pizza is just meh but the spinach garlic is to die for. Next time I will get the pesto or pesto sun dried and will report in at that time

ok, im gonna try and break it down as food snobbish as i can…
im not a huge fan of the dough texture… i havent seen the kitchen so i cant comment on cooking method, but its kind of lacking. if the dough were better, this would probably be a 4 star selection my friends. the veggie pizza i tried last night was excellent though… the right amount of toppings, cheese, and sauce to go around.
they only have an antipasto, casear, and tuna salads on the menu, but you can order an optional ‘salad bar’ salad, even for deliveries… just tell them what you want on it. it’s nothing special, just your garden variety iceberg with what veggies and cheese you’d like but if fits the bill if the other salads arent options.
i still maintain this is the 2^nd best pizza option in Castaic behind Vinny’s, and probably the 3^rd or 4^th in all of SCV which is a compliment.
