Great communication and added help with wiring new thermostat to first visit at no up-change. Mike wore booties in house and was cool with kiddos running around. He showed me what he did and explained really well. We now have A/C upstairs and downstairs. The company responded in the morning after late night online request. Appointment range set and they confirmed he was on the way the day of. Really comfortable to work and communicate with. Will use them 100% in the future at home we just moved into in Apex, NC. Thank you!

This business is not very professional. At all. One of their workers in one of the Morrisville heating and air vans just ran a stop sign and when I honked lightly on my horn and pointed at the stop sign he stuck his hand out the window and gave me the finger. I had no stop sign and there was no reason for him to do that towards me. I DEFINITELY won’t bother to use anyone unprofessional such as this and I recommend that you do not either. How sad they would act this way towards a potential customer when they represent a company so poorly.

Paid for a visit in Spring for service on air conditioning unit and a winter service of furnace. After they came out for winter service, no one ever contacted me for Spring service. Had to call and email this business several times to get original service visit. If you are going to charge people for 2 visits, then the business needs to live up to promise and expectation of coming out for both. Just disappointed in execution and overall results. There are several other companies to choose from in this area.

Very unhappy with the attention to detail and lack of service. They installed a unit for us a few years ago and every year we needed to replace the freon. Never could find the leak, but we kept refilling. Earlier today we called a different company and they found the leak in 30 minutes. Problem solved. In addition, we had an annual maintenance contract and on every visit they never had filters on the truck that fit our returns. We had to follow-up to get them delivered to the house after the service call.

Well, the flip side of NC summers is that in the winter, we tend to be a little spoiled. However, when the heat doesn’t work on the first sub-30 degree day of the year, it’s still a shock to the system. Since we had a 20 yr old Goodman unit, we had a pretty good idea she was toast– so we looked up a Trane Comfort specialist for the service call. Despite receiving 4 – 5 other estimate requests that day, Mike was very responsive to our call and was out within 2 hrs to take a look at the problems. Turns out it was a bad motor as well as a cracked heat exchanger– bummer. My disclaimer here is that my dad is a Trane guy– has been working in HVAC for over 45 years, but he’s way up in OH so not on hand to do a quick fix. So, I am biased to the Trane company and their well known quality products. That said– last year, my dad took a look when he was here and made a recommendation for a replacement model when we were ready. I was happy that when Mike explained the problem he made a recommendation for the exact same model– though he did provide a less expensive option as well. And when I called my dad for some price compare– his quote was within 20 bucks as well– for a much less expensive area of the country. So, we decided to replace the unit. Mike was able to do that w/his crew the following day(thank goodness for our wood burning fireplace and the load of wood we just got delivered from American Wood-yards in Raleigh). In addition to the standard service and installation, he also makes sure that all permits and codes are 100% up to day. Mike was on hand to start his crew on the install– he also personally took care of the thermostat replacement and CO2 detector(standard req now it seems). And when it was clear that some of our intake duct was not up to code size, he replaced w/no extra charge. All in all, I would definitely recommend Mike to any friends and we’d use his company again in a heartbeat.

If you know NC, then you know not having AC in the summer months may lead to a discomfort we call«I’m-wearing-a-wife beater-with-my-face-pressed-against-a-window-fan»(or at least, that was my consistent experience in the college dorms here). So when the first hot couple of days hit this year, and we crank on the AC in our new(old) home to discover … NOAC, I was not a happy camper to say the least. Luckily for us, the unit in our old house is new — and comes with a warranty. So we called up the folks behind the installation for a look-see. Mike showed up 30minutes after the scheduled time without calling to let us know he’d be late. I work from home, so it was no biggie. But you might ask them to give you a window of arrival if you use them. When he arrived he told me that they hadn’t put Freon in since the unit was installed in December, a time of year when Freon can’t be added. Whew — easy fix, I thought! And then: Hrm. I wonder why they didn’t remember to come put Freon in once spring hit. A little annoying. He ended up working away outside for quite a bit longer than I expected, and when he came back in, he let me know there was a pinch in the coil that actually seemed to be causing the problem. But the air is pouring in crisp & cold now, so it looks like he was able to get it all sorted out!
