Coastal Valley Dermatology – Dr. Roya Javid

This place is great. I have been coming here for a couple years for enhanced peels (VI Peel) and most recently, IPL. Dr. Javid is the goddess of skin care… this woman’s knowledge is encylopedic! She really knows her stuff and I trust her completely. I am very particular about who I get peels from. I live in San Francisco and make the trip to Carmel for this very reason — I completely trust her. I have had great results and am very very happy. It’s no wonder they have been voted best skincare and best dermatologist three years in a row!
The office environment is peaceful and relaxing. They do NOT push products, although they have a bevy of options. I love it that they have their own «medical» formulations — their face mask with proprietary blend of Plant Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid, and Peptides is awesome! Just pop it your fridge and use to hydrate and nourish the skin when needed.
I’ve received excellent service every time by the front desk, Brooke, and Dr. Javid. The staff is very friendly, sweet, and caring. Everyone is extremely helpful, I wanted to know more about their photo-​facial and Dr. Javid spent half an hour explaining everything to me. I highly recommend Dr. Javid for anything from peels to IPL.
