Very disappointed! The broiled seafood combination was anemic. No flavor or color whatsoever! No condiments were offered such as butter or tarter sauce. Had to ask for it. Crab cakes were pure filler. My dining companions had the same issues with their meal. The only positive was the crab bisque was somewhat better than the rest of the meal but was still lacking the flavor.

My family and I loved our food. No complaints. Our waitress was great and the atmosphere was fun though very hectic! Everything was great until the end: our waitress accidentally rang up another tables meal on my grandmothers credit card. We’re understanding people & we know mistakes happen. My dad wanted to speak to a manager just to get clarification on what was going to happen & how it would be fixed. Nobody was angry. The manager came over and explained that they had already canceled the charge. That’s great! But there was no apology from her and it was obvious she had absolutely no clue how to speak to older people. She even told us «this is something that happens often.» … Might want to fix your system then. My advice? Go and enjoy the beautiful view and atmosphere. Eat some food. PAYWITHCASHONLY.

Saturday the 26th of September went there for dinner. Wife said that the crab cake was delicious and the bloody mary very good. I ordered a Yuengling lager and fish and chips. My beer was given to me flat and the fish was inedible. I got dogfish which was oily and stringy not flakey. The server did take my meal off the bill but it ruined a great day down the shore.

It’s been about a month since I’ve been here, but I did not want to post anything too irrational because of my poor experience. Firstly, for outdoor seating I found it extremely confusing that in order to be sat you needed to walk through the dining area to try and find the hostess. The open deck area immediately gives the impression of seating yourselves, if you’re dining outside near entertainment. Finally once we were sat,(with a request to be near the stage to see the entertainment) there were signs on the tables that stated once we had eaten the guests needed to leave the table. I found this to be relatively irritating, we are paying for our seats at the table. Our food and server turned out to be really good, however not even 15 minutes after our plates were cleared the hostess came to our table, and asked if the server had dropped off our check because she needed us the move elsewhere… we are paying costumers, there were four of us dining at the table and still continuing to order alcoholic beverages! Our entire table was extremely upset. if we are still continuing to add to our bill at the table I do not understand why we were being hounded to leave. Overall the experience was less than pleasing due to the rude hostess and strange front of the house«rules». Besides those discrepancies; the view, entertainment, food, and waitress were nice. But I doubt we will be going back anytime soon.

The seafood was fresh and the atmosphere was nice, but I found it pricey and can only chalk it up to the location. We went for lunch thinking it would be less expensive than dinner. I would have liked more seafood for the money too. The waitress kept asking us if we were ready which was a bit off putting, but she was young and sweet and so you could overlook it.

On a recent trip to Cape May we wanted to get some steamed crabs. We went to H+H fish market, only to be told they dont sell crabs to eat in. They recommended we go to the Crab House which their owner had recently reopened. We were stunned! The Crab House at Two Mile Landing had been our go to crab spot until the pier collapsed a few years ago. Being from northern NJ we had no clue it had reopened under new ownership. The interior has been changed due to the new construction but the crabs are good as ever. We got some garlic crabs and some regular maryland style crabs and they were awesome. Washed down with a cold beer, watching the NFL on one of their tv’s I was in heaven. Ca’t wait to hit them up for some crabs in 2015!

Good, quality food is seemingly hard to find in Wildwood, NJ; but the Crab House fit the bill. Wait was long to get a table, and the service was rather slow. Aside from those 2 things, the experience was quite pleasurable. I personally recommend the conch fritters, which were caught in the bay adjacent to the restaurant along with all the seafood items on the menu. All of the food was very fresh and well prepared. The place definitely fills up so try to get there at 630 or earlier, even on weekdays. The waiting staff was a pleasure to us and omitted a friendly aura. Far surpasses other seafood places in the area(lobster house and others) and is definitely a good choice for dinner. Crab House is the place to be

Came here tonight to eat dinner after spending the day at Wildwood NJ. For a Wednesday evening, it was really crowded. I haven’t been back here for over 10 yrs so a lot has changed. We waited for 15 mins to be seated for a party of 8 which was great. Our waitress did a great job taking care of us. We ordered 2 dozens of the raw oysters, crab cakes, salsa with chips, crispy potatoes with cheese, soft shell crabs, 2 orders of the snow crabs, chicken quesadilla, and 2 dozen of the garlic crabs. The oysters were very small and not plump at all. Kind of disappointed by this. The crab cakes were delicious. A lot of crab meat and not a lot of filler… just the way I like it. The salsa and chips were not really good. The salsa ruined it. The guacamole saved it though. The crispy potatoes were pretty good. I didn’t have the chicken quesadilla but my bro in law said it was delicious. Must be since he ate all of it. The garlic crabs were still delicious as ever. Just wished the crab meat was firmer and not so mushy. Thinking it’s the crab itself and not the restaurant’s fault. Loved their corn on the cob. Overall the meal was good. Just wished the oysters were better quality, the salsa didn’t taste like just tomatoes that were chopped up, and the blue crabs to be better in regards to the meat texture. Other than that I was pleased with my visit.

Unfortunately, I have to give this place 2 stars. I debated giving it 3, but here’s why. There were 4 of us, came in about 8:30 for dinner. We sat in the inside restaurant, not the outside deck. We were seated quickly, and the waitress came quickly. However, they brought out bread, but we had no plates or silverware. Then we ordered, a few appetizers, and our meals. The apps came quickly. I got the oysters. They weren’t the best, and the way they stuck to the shell was a little weird. I cant really explain it, it was almost like a «skin». The crab bisque was ok, nothing to write home about. Then we waited for what had to be 30 – 40 minutes for our entrees. Apparently, they didnt prepare one of the dishes properly, so… whatever. The waitress apologized, brought over the manager, and they ended up comping us 2 drinks and 2 deserts, which was very nice. However, the food was not all that great. I got the filet. I love filet. This was overdone, and definitely not worth $ 36. In their defense, because my wife was sharing with me, we got it medium well. But it was not at all pink on the inside, and a little tough. My friend got the crab legs, and said they were awesome, except they didnt crack the shells. Now the outside deck might be nice if you plan to just sit, enjoy the water view, and have some less expensive«bar food», but I will not be going back for the inside part again. All and all, dinner for 4 was $ 140, and I still left a generous tip. However, for that kind of money(and remember we probably saved $ 30 with the comps), there are a dozen other restaurants nearby I would rather go to.

We had a great meal. The service was exceptional. I had blue crabs all u can eat. It was slow to be served but the waitress kept giving us updates. The crab fries and corn on the cob was awesome. My wife had snow crabs and said they were good.

It is with deep sadness that I write this review. I cannot even give this poor excuse for a restaurant a single star. After feeling great elation and anticipation upon finding out one of my favorite restaurants reopened, i was quickly snapped back to reality that this was no longer the beloved place i once knew. The food is still good however the restaurant was highly unorganized. the service was atrocious. It’s easier to find Jesus than it was to get service! They were very busy but that still isn’t an excuse. I hope they have gotten their act together since. ****This was back in August 2012 though.

A really fun place to go for dinner at the shore! The owner has Heavy Seas Loose Cannon on draft and the dockside atmosphere can’t be beat. I’m not a crab guy but when I stopped through I had the blackened tuna steak sandwich and was very pleased. There’s plenty of parking as it’s all the way at the end of 2 mile landing’s driveway and it’s accessible by boat. Great place to hang out with some sailors and drink a dark and stormy. I’m excited for my next visit.

All a restaurant has to offer is AYCE crabs to make me love it. I was sold on this place before even coming here. My choice came down to here or H&H Seafood Market. Both were the same price for many of their items but this won out as it has more ambience with stunning views, large deck area, and a band playing on a lazy Sunday afternoon while H&H is literally a seafood market. The AYCE crabs were $ 24 which I thought was an awesome price.

Never got a smile from hostess, I think she was the owners relative who got stuck working that night. Service was disorganized and clueless. Crabs were good, which you would expect. Rest of it was«typical bar food». With that location I guess they don’t have to do too much. Not cheap.

This type of restaurant is a tourist attraction in the area since when people are down the shore they want to eat seafood. My boyfriend and I took my parents to the Crab House for dinner during our stay in North Wildwood. Just like all the other seafood restaurants in the area, they don’t accept reservations, so you put your name in with the grumpy hostess and then find somewhere to sit and wait. Lucky for us we found a nice spot at the tiki bar in the back(cash only) where we ordered yummy raspberry dacquri’s and miami vices. The bartender was friendly and attentive, unlike the hostess. Eventually our buzzer went off and we were seated a long picnic table for dinner. My mom ordered a broiled seafood combination and my dad had the lobster. My boyfriend and I ordered the all you can eat blue claw crab for $ 22, which was a HUGE portion. My only disappointment was that it didn’t come with anything other than crabs. By the first batch I was so grossed out/sick of crabs I couldn’t really eat any more, but maybe that’s how they get you. I just wish they gave you a roll. Overall it was pretty inexpensive considering the amount of food we got. We also had a coupon for a free drink for each person who ordered an entrée(of course the all you can eat crab didn’t count) so that saved some money too. It’s a decent touristy kind of place to check out when your down the shore and craving seafood.
