Usually good service at this location, but the white dude with ear plugs, who just helped me purchase a gift was a real «chip on his shoulder» dickface. I had two kids in a stroller with me in their tight spaced store and couldn’t get to all the merchandise without leaving them unattended. After asking for a hat in a larger size for a friend, he found one for me, I asked if they had any others by chance? He then gave me a look like I asked him to join the military and fight in a Third World War zone. Instead of helping, he said «You’re just gonna have to look for yourself here.» Which is fine, if he hadn’t gone back to waiting on no customers in the store and staring blankly into space. This is the type of employee that makes opponents of raising the minimum wage seem correct.

This was the absolute worst customer service I’ve experienced. My friend and I came in to find a hat. We were obviously struggling to find the right size and brands and the employees just stared at us and wouldn’t offer to help and were rude and unfriendly when we attempted to seek help from all 3 there. We will not be returning to lids again.

They unfortunately did not have the hat I was looking for in stock and referred me to order it online at

Unfortunately the actual
website customer service is TERRIBLE.
I was put on hold for 50 minutes before being transferred to a customer service representative.
I paid $ 19.99 for «Next Day Air» shipping, and when it did not arrive the next day I was furious as it was a gift.
The representative told me that «Next Day Air» can take 24 – 72 hours to process for being shipped overnight … SUCH A SCAM!!! Especially since I am paying almost as much as a hat costs in shipping to ensure I had it on time. She said we could cancel my order, but there was no guarantee I would get my money back or a hat. It was ridiculous, I told her to just leave it as is, and I would give the gift late.
If you can find an actual hat in store, I would highly recommend doing that.

I have nver received such good service as I did at LIDS in the Topanga Mall. The manager (Carlos) was very helpful. I needed some hats for my husband for vacation and even though they didnt have it at the stores he was able to help me order them. He also helped me chose my sons first dodger hat. Great Experience I will definently come back for all my hat needs.

U guys deserve more than 5 star. Very friendly and helpful they will help u for anything u want and them price is very good compare outside. I went too meny places to do my logo on my shirt but nothing good at all, So when I went to lids store I can’t believe it the way I like. I never Wright review but u guys make me happy I think them name (Carlos and beandon) that’s why u guys deserve it .

I came to get a Christmas gift for my brother. I was helped by a young gentleman whom seem to have no energy. I came in here knowing what I wanted and needed. I told him what I was looking for and didn’t seem to care. I guess?!
As, I walked outside the door I notice a huge sign for ½ off the second hat. I only purchase one, but the gentleman could’ve mention this deal to me. I was a bit disappointed. I told him about it. And I think he got a bit upset. It’s not my fault you didn’t mention this promotion to me.
This store is located near the food court area. They do have customize hat embroidery. The customer skills should improve a bit more!

If you need a fix on your Dodger gear, then stop on by. This place has literally almost anything and everything you could want in terms of your team needs. From small knick-​knacks like pens and key chains, all the way down to boxers and bathing suits this place is it. They also have a quarter of the store dedicated to Laker gear as well.
