All the way at the North(West) end of Main Street, Cutruzzola’s opened in 2015 and is a welcome addition the wineries in Cambria. Just a tasting room as the winery is in a different location. We tried and liked all the wines but the Riesling and Pinot Noir stood out. Friendly owner and we will come back again for sure.

It’s a quadruple delight with 5 stars: great wine, lovely setting, sincere hospitality and knowledge of wines by Karen. She encouraged me to try wines I don’t usually favor(Rieslings) and turned me around to loving them. The Pinot Noir was another bell-ringer for me. It’s the go-to-place for wine tasting, uplighting décor and new friendships.

I had previously tried their Pinot Noir at Fermentations Tasting Room last year and thought it was great. When I returned to town, I went back there looking for it. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they had opened their own tasting room. It’s bright, cute and quaint. It’s a tad separated from the other shops in the area, but shouldn’t be passed up when you come into town!

Riesling! I know most wine snobs look down on this wine and people who make it, but I love it. All of their wine was great, and so was their service. Definitely worth a stop while on the 1!

My husband & I weren’t planning on wine tasting, we just wanted to buy a bottle of white wine. After seeing the cozy space & talking w/the staff, we couldn’t resist doing a tasting. The wines were exceptional, warm, modern space & knowledgeable staff. DONTPASSUP!

Yesterday I visited Cutruzzola and I highly recommend you visit when you are in the area. They have a bright and cheery tasting room that is tastefully decorated and located immediately off Hwy 1 and Moonstone Drive. I enjoyed the Riesling. not your mother’s Riesling, it has excellent structure and one of the two that they craft is dry, the other has a hint of sweetness. I could see that it would pair well with spicy food or on its own on a hot summer day. Karen who was behind the bar was very kind and shared a lot of interesting information about the wines, winery and owners. Another wine I especially enjoyed is their Zinfandel, it has great structure, is balanced, had nice flavors yet is more subtle than the huge Zins you find in Paso. It came across to me as a more European style wine. Very easy to enjoy on its own or with a meal. I left after they closed and about 15 minutes from the tasting room I realized that I had forgotten to purchase the wine flavored beef jerky. It was heavenly! I’ll just have to go back as soon as possible… works for me!

What a fantastic find! Great ambiance, a warm, knowledgeable and friendly staff and beautiful wines. As a Paso gal, truthfully, I am more accustomed to tasting through locally grown Zins and Rhone varietals. Cutruzzola’s coastal Rieslings and Pinot Noir are eloquent and absolutely FABULOUS! This is a «must» stop!

What a wonderful experience. The winemakers clearly love what they do, and it shows in every aspect of the business. Immediately inviting, bright and relaxing. Beautiful photographs bring the vineyard to the tasting room, and the light that shines through the sign above the spacious and inviting bar paints the Cutruzzola signature in light and shadow. Each feature underscores the quality, caring and pure passion that is best represented in their wine — particularly the winning Pinot Noir. Great wine, great atmosphere — and great people.
