I’ve purchased from Dolan’s (Burlingame) over the past several years. My most recent purchase (10÷8÷2015) was an exterior door that had to fit into an existing frame. Sam suggested that I bring in the old door and pay a little extra to have the new door sized to match the old door. THANK YOU SAM !! The door fit perfectly into the opening, the hinge position was right on the mark and the knob latch fit perfectly into the jamb section. «Big Box» stores do not give you the service that I’ve gotten from Dolan’s. I’ll be back !!

This was not the friendliest greeting and exchange I’ve had with a sales person… He seemed indifferent about whether he sold me a door or not. Prices quoted were very high compared to a «big box» store. I think Dolan’s caters to people not shopping for a bargain.

My Brother & I have been using Sam at Dolan’s Windows & Doors for over 15 years, we have used them for our investment property’s in San Francisco for our personal homes, and most recently we just finished (all most finished) building to green homes in Milbrae Ca. both homes Aprox 10,000 sq ft all window and doors were purchased from Sam at Dolan’s, their prices are fare more important then anything is the level of knowledge and understanding Sam has. he has given us money saving ideas has made great recomendations. The level of Knowledge is Second to None.

Not friendly and not very helpful. I’m planning to buy new windows and doors. This place may be right if you know exactly what you want, but not so much if you’re still trying to figure out the best fit for you. They do carry a lot of brands, but definitely got the vibe that they had something better to do.

I was in the market for some interior doors and this was one of my stops. I’m glad i went here. I dealt with Ciaran. He was great to deal with. all of my doors were custom sizes and he went the extra mile to search different manufacturers to get the best price and still give me the quality that i wanted. For example i wanted a primed door with reed glass in it and he got me a stain grade door for 200.00 cheaper than the best quote i had from another place. not only did he kill the price but he got it 4 weeks faster than the other place said they could. Needless to say I’m going to be ordering all of my doors from them from now on.

Sam at Dolans was awesome. He took the time to understand our window needs (we bought Marvin’s for our house in Burlingame) and made reccomendations to fit our needs. The quoting process was professional and timely and also very competitive from a price perspective; in fact we got the best price and the most professional service (by far on the latter). Sam arranged install with one of his long time partners and followed up continuously to make sure the job was completed correctly and on time; in fact he came post install to inspect the work. Sam clearly cares about his customers and we give him our highest reccomendation. Thanks Sam!
