First and foremost, the sandwiches are really big! Even the smallest size was enough to fill me up. They freshly cut the meats and cheese and customize each sandwich. I am not a fan of the«mikes way» because I don’t like vinegar in my sandwiches but that is just a matter of preference. Staff was friendly and service was very fast

The 13 and 8 are the favorites for us. I like Mike’s way on the 13. Fresh bread and fresh sliced ingredients make a very tasty sub. I will keep coming back !

What a welcome relief to a lunch starved neighborhood. Friendly staff… Great location. Well run business. Glad we finally have a Jersey Mikes nearby. Love the #13 Mikes way(only way) with peppers.

There are plenty of places to grab a sandwich. At the prices of Jersey Mikes its worth the drive to find one. Honestly a manager on site at all times would help. Or just someone anyone watching the sandwiches being made. This last time I had someone make a very good looking sandwich only to ruin it with about ½ a cup of olive oil. Seriously moderation is a word they need to learn. It made the entire sandwich inedible. Doesn’t confuse Jersey’s mike’s with healthy eating. It has more oil and grease than an XL pizza. It would be on thing if the meat was good but it was the saltiest meat I’ve ever eaten. I absolutely hate subway for their cheap ingredients but I would eat there before coming back here. There is nothing worse than leaving a restaurant regretting patronizing the establishment. So go in knowing you will regret your decision to eat here. If you must come here just get bread. Its the only thing worth consuming.

I feel like the people who bash this place simply expect authenticity from a fast food joint. It’s fast food, you dummies so it should be comparable to its competitors, subway, Quiznos and jimmy Johns. Not some awesome hole in the wall family joint. In comparison to its competitors, it blows them out of the water, the staff is nice, the wait time is good, during non rush hours and still exceptional during the rush. And the quality of the ingredients is damn good as well. People should realize this place for what it is, and chill out when it comes to making irrelevant comparisons. 4⁄5

Great sub place. This is NOT a philly cheese steak place or a meatball sub joint, even though they do have those on the menu and they are decent. This is a place for excellent, fresh cold subs. They slice the meats to order, produce is always fresh as well. I used to be a regular at the Kent location where the line goes out the door at lunch sometimes. Just understand that the«proper» way to get one of these sandwiches is «mikes way» and these are East Coast style subs with all the oil and vinegar and oregano and all that. I get a kick out of people coming in and ordering like its a Subway or something. It seems to me like the only people that could go here and not be really happy are people that come in «expecting» it to be like something else… Just enjoy it for what it is, and enjoy your lunch!

When it comes to sub’s in Burien you have Quiznos, Subway, Haggens, and now JM. Sub’s are ok, nothing to write home about. Served in foil and a bag.

It is like another version of Subway. The cool thing about it is the sandwich meats are being cut right in front of you. I saw the guy spending his time to cut every inch of those meats. Now, I have to wonder how he is going to survive if there are a ton of customers. Cutting those meats one by one might be slow enough, but it isn’t my business to be concerned. The sign up process for rewards program was easy as it is only a sandwich shop!

Burien has been reeling since we lost Paisan’s the authentic East Coast sandwich shop on 152nd that closed a couple of years back. So I was pretty excited when I saw a Jersey Mike’s being installed in the Albertson’s shopping center. I had the best Chicken Parmesan sandwich of my life in a little bodega in New Jersey a couple of years back and I hoped for more of the same from Jersey Mike’s once it opened. When the shop finally opened I ordered the chicken parm sandwich with chips and a soda. I should have watched them make the food to avoid the culinary catastrophe that was about to happen. When my sandwich arrived it was a visual disappointment looking deflated like an old bike tire. I looked under the roll and saw scrawny protein that looked like it had been factory molded like a chicken McNuggett. I bit into the Franken-sandwich and it was terrible. The«meat» was flavorless and the texture of the sandwich was even worse. It did not taste like chicken. There was no resistance when I bit into the chicken. It was barely more firm than the goo of warmed mozzarella topping. It was just a travesty of a sandwich. I stood up and left all the food on the table. I told the attendant how bad the sandwich was and turned down the offer of a refund. My sense of injustice was gone by the time I reached my car, but I still haven’t been back. My search for a great sandwich in Burien continues, but it’s definitely not available at Jersey Mike’s.

I am not impressed at all. The only thing I like was the meat inside my Philly cheese steak. But everything else, meh. First, I have to say how confuse I was, after I step foot inside the restaurant. As my first time, I had no idea rather or not I was suppose to order and pay first or order and pay later. The customers that were there before me told me that I was up and to go to the register, the lady behind then told me I was suppose to order first. And I am like thats fine. I didn’t know what was good or not. The lady did not offer up any suggestions or recommendations, which I was disappointed by. I saw a pile of bacon on one of the counter and decided to add bacon on to my sub. But after I got home, there were no bacon in it. Checked my receipt, hmm… they charged me for it. And something about their bread. I can’t pinpoint the exact reason I did not like it. But I didn’t like it.

Extremely rude and disrespectful. Kept referring my sister and I as «Hey girl with the sweatshirt». When we were waiting in line to be helped one person said«yeah what do you want?» Super rude and impatient. They were all more concerned with talking about each other and who was dating who then providing customer service. I’ve worked in food service business for a large portion of my life and I would have never let my staff talk like that to customers. Plus it would be nice if you would wash your hands or put gloves on when touching my food. Don’t roll your eyes either when I ask you to do so.

When asked if they offered any gluten free bread the girl at the counter said no, it would taste horrible. Forced to order a «bowl» and the price for 2 people came to $ 36?! It was ok food but not for that price and very limited gluten free options. Overall not going back due to that.

Heard about these guys for awhile. So I went there the opening weekend as I was in the neighborhood. After waiting in line for a good 10 minutes, they ran out of bread. The owner was apologetic as I think this was the first day. So he gave a coupon for a free sandwich. I thought that’s cool. Upon further review it’s a free sandwich if you donate to a charity over the labor day weekend. . since I stopped there on my way out of town the not so «free» sandwich coupons was pointless. I was in the neighborhood again and decided to try it once more. The ingredients were good and meats are freshly cut, however it was soaking in Italian dressing. The crusty bread disintegrated in minutes making the sandwich fall apart. Complete failure. Jimmy Johns remains the only decent chain I can deal with.

I am not a fan of chain restaurants, but sometimes they work out well. Although I’d heard of Jersey Mike’s a long time ago, I didn’t have any desire to try their food. They just opened this franchise near my home, and since they sent me a coupon for a free sandwich, and because it was late, I was hungry and I didn’t feel like driving far, I thought I’d give it a try. When I got there, they were out of bread, so I was ready to leave and forget about this place. However, the young man behind the counter was willing to improvise(at a chain restaurant?) and seemed sincerely interested in making things right. He made me something that was not quite on the menu. .. and it was really exceptional! Although I doubted Jersey Mike’s was much better than Quizno’s or Subway, what I ate was certainly better. And the customer service was excellent. The guy who made my sandwich was friendly, helpful and seemed genuinely interested in his job, and this, more than anything else, is what will bring me back to try the food again. I give this place 5 stars for customer service, but my overall rating is only 3(I wish I could make it 3.5) since I don’t really look forward to eating fast food as I would with a family-owned, sit-down restaurant. However, I will happily return the next time I am rushed for time and don’t feel like driving far.

My children and I have eaten subs here 4 times since they have opened. Their roast beef is excellent. Our favorite sub so far is the club one with bacon. Their employees seem really happy and do a great job. My kids get really excited when I tell them we are going to Jersey Mikes.
