I wanted to write a follow up to my previous review since credit has to go where it’s due. In the past months these guys have immeasurably stepped up their game. These guys have orders prompt and on time and many of the staff are good about generally greeting people as they come in. The mobile ordering experience has also improved and I can honestly say that not a single thing has been wrong or delayed at all since I wrote my review. My last review was based on my actual experiences at this Starbucks, but because things have gotten much better I felt like I had to express that. — — — — — I want to start my review by saying that this is the lowest quality, worst Starbucks that I’ve ever been to. I am a frequent customer due to it being within a very close distance to my home, but whenever I am able to I just get in my car and drive to the one on riverside which is INFINITELY better. First off, I use the mobile ordering system for its advertised convenience. More often than not, they are out of stock on the item I’ve ordered or have forgotten to make it after 15 – 20 minutes. When ordering a brewed coffee, I typically wait about 5 minutes at home after ordering to allow time to pour this drink. But for anything complicated at all I actually order my drink and wait 15 minutes before leaving my house. This way I give them enough time to prepare you know, something like a frappuccino. But then I show up and it’s not made. Or like today, when I followed my usual process of allowing extra time for a frap and a sandwich to be made(the sandwich, mind you, is put into a grill and a timer is set, that is all), I show up and it’s not made. After the barista continued to make other orders I asked about the sandwich, they said it was coming. Then I watched another barista pull it out of the fridge they store them in and put it into the grill. This has completely destroyed the point of mobile ordering. And I am really only sharing one bad experience out of several. I’m not even getting into the time I waited for almost 30 minutes for a drink only to FINALLY be told by a barista that it hadn’t been made because the entire time they were out of bananas. The only saving grace of this store is an employee named Will, who greets most customers(myself included) by name, remembers their orders, and is able to provide the really great customer service that makes you feel special. Only when I see him working am I confident that things are actually going to be running properly. He also appears to run most operations including register, stock and inventory levels, actually making drinks, and maintaining levels of cleanliness at the store. Without him and for the fact that this Starbucks is within walking distance, I can honestly say that I would never go to this Starbucks. I’m sorry for the negative review, guys, but I’ve been really trying to give you the benefit of the doubt before sharing my opinion. It’s only after regular experiences like this in this store that I feel compelled to say something. This has not been an isolated experience. If it’s such a problem, maybe re quote the mobile wait time from 2 – 8 minutes to something more realistically feasible.

They are pretty fast this morning. So I upgraded them to 4 stars. New review 2.10.16: I am liking this even more now. Speed is of the essence. Service is faster than usual. My mocha latte is still on top of the mountain. New review 3.2.16: Came in this morning and ordered my usual mocha. The cashier they put there this morning was a big time a$$ho! I showed my rewards program from my iPhone and he said, «you don’t have a rewards» what I was trying to show him that I would pay using the Starbucks Rewards app from my iPhone. All he needed to do is to click onto their screen so I could scan my phone to pay and it that would be less of a job for him to do. And I always tip but not today.

It’s 7am and no blonde made because the manager says it doesn’t sell. Then take it off the menu. Need a @dunkindonuts closer to me.

They finally hired people who make really good coffee. Before there worked a couple of girls who always made the wrong coffee and it was just disgusting. Now I finally can enjoy my latte without asking them to remake it:)

Excellent Starbucks! I’m a SB regular, but this one is definitely my favorite. The staff is very kind and prompt. The atmosphere is calm and they have several areas where you can charge your phone wirelessly! If you’re in the Burbank area for a Warner Brother tour, taping or whatever, you should definitely make this starbucks your breakfast destination!

As LA as it can get: speedy service, clean and super accommodating! I loved having access to the wireless chargers. Not only were they fun to use, they were available for free and we were able to juice up our phones while we sipped on our delicious lattes!

I wanted to leave an update in regards to this Starbucks. Lately I’ve noticed some major improvements to this store with employees and such. They have been more friendly and kinder and seem to have improved their supplies of the items they used to run out of often. One employee in particular, Carlos is a wonderful guy. He always smiles and always gets my drink right and it’s really nice to start my day with him and a few others who seem to go out of there way to please us customers. I think the improvements have been very much needed and they are doing much better. Now I don’t dread going there anymore. Thanks to the staff and management for working hard to turn this store around. Also, thanks specifically to Carlos for being such a great asset to the store. He is very fast, always kind, smiling and I really enjoy saying hello to him! Thanks guys/girls for working hard to make this place better!

This is the worst Starbucks in the world. The manager should be fired. They never get your order right most of the staff is extremely rude there’s always a line and usually there’s three people behind the counter putting away supplies while the line is forming out the door I definitely blame the leadership in this case.

Mobile Pay update… they resolved the confusion and recently offered Gold Card customers the opportunity to try Mobile Pay and get double stars. So, I tried it again. The interface is much easier and you only need to order about 3 minutes ahead of arrival. Important: You do still have to announce to the barista that you’re awaiting a mobile order or you will stand there forever.

The parking is increasingly a problem but the staff is terrific — friendly and efficient. The mobile pay in advance feature needs a wider selection.

Parking can be hard when its busy here… but again its just starbucks… tastes the same everywhere… if your a gold member you will get free refills just on iced coffee or the teas. has fast wifi and seating inside can be limited. overall, just another local starbucks, not missing much here.

Convenient location, but I’d rather drive to the one on Verdugo. This Starbucks likes to burn their coffee. 70% of the time my drink tastes like gasoline. Horribly bitter. Always crowded too. Plus, the baristas here are snobs.

When I’m in the mood to do some people watching, I grab an open seat(if I can find one), get a macchiato and enjoy the view. Lots of «industry» people always coming in and out. That’s the movie business for you newbies. They recently renovated the joint to a more cleaner and inviting setting. Lots of space! Occasionally I love to come here and work off my laptop, with the people watching of course :)

The Impression: I used to live about a block away. Would walk over semi often. When I first arrived, one employee(Monique or Monica) made all the difference in the world — caring, kind, courteous. She left the first year I was there. Since then, it’s been mostly downhill from there. Pros: Still, it’s not like there aren’t pros. They renovated recently so that was kind of cool. They did it quickly and the place looks way better as a result. Another pro is the location. From where I was, you couldn’t beat this walk for coffee. Got the Von’s and dry cleaners right there too. That’s 3 stars right there. Cons: This place can improve. Service(beyond that one employee) is sad in several ways. It’s never rude, but always off. It’s like the people hate working there or something. Rarely did I see a smile. Just people going through the motions. Closed Early: Employees shut this place down way early. Like an hour before the Closing Time, they’d empty all the baked goods. And they’d shut the doors like 5 or 10 minutes early and leave. If the shop closed at 9, you went at 8:58 and it was locked already. Odd.

It’s the slowest Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Ive come here multiple times hoping it would be faster but it never is. No matter how busy or slow they are. It takes forever. I never say anything but people complain to the baristas all the time. The employees are all really nice and the product is good. It’s just so slow it makes me never want to go there.

Update… Since the last review… I’ve noticed that this locations service has progressed immensely. Mainly when the service provided by kind employees such as Taylor; who kindly greeted me by my name as I walked in and already had my usual iced coffee ready for me while I was paying at the cashier. Great job Taylor… People like you are who make the company’s rating go up! Thank you for making my day. :)

***update*** Still going to rate this a 5 star since most of the baristas are friendly except for one that Comes off a tad rude. Maybe that’s her personality, but step it down a notch. I had ordered 2 caramel machiattos and said«i want one iced and one hot». She said they were the same thing, with an attitude… and I thought to myself«no beezy! Hot and cold are not the same thing!!» FYI. So I had to dumb it down for her and said«one hot caramel machiatto and one cold caramel machiatto». Smh!!! Get it together!
