Poor service and bland coffee. After waiting nearly a min for the 3 staff members to finish their personal conversation I was finally greeted. The iced coffee tasted watered down despite being promised by two staff members«it was better than cold brew», it wasn’t. Then after having a specific conversation with one staff member about taking my wrap unheated togo, another member got snarky with me after I pointed out I didn’t want the wrap heated while he unwrapped it and stuck it in the microwave. I will not be returning.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for months. Priscilla’s is amazing! It’s our regular coffee shop, and I’ve never been disappointed with my drink. My top choices are the VHS(vanilla cinnamon hazelnut espresso drink) and apricot iced tea. I also loved the espresso I bought to make at home. On top of that, the staff is extremely nice and helpful! Love the location and cozy atmosphere. We used to sit and chill with our coffee, but we take it go now. Even then, it’s a great experience all around. Great coffee and staff keep us coming back every week. Would give 10 stars if I could. Also love how community orientated Priscilla’s is. I’m happy we found this place!

Great coffee, friendly service and a great atmosphere! They even have some fantastic homemade sandwiches. Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in the area!

Great place. Nice location in Toluca Lake, outdoor seating, super nice stuff and good macchiato. Try the super dark Mexican chocolate available at the counter. Parking can be a bit hard to find.

I just moved to the beautiful area of Toluca Lake and I needed my new go-to coffee shop(not starbucks!). I saw this adorable coffee shop down the street so I decided to give it a try. I walked in and I was greeted with the warmest and genuine welcome. I informed the staff that it was my first day. The guy smiled and said that he would prepare me their specialty: blueberry iced coffee. In my mind, I was super curious as to what blueberry coffee would taste like. I am so glad I listened to the guy. This is my favorite drink ever. I mean I dream of blueberry ;)

Burnt coffee. Like even an entire packet of sugar can’t fix the burnt. And they do the kind of cappuccino where they oversteam the fuck out of the milk and scoop it on top instead of a proper one :( Barista was nice and a chill environment. Would come back for tea or to hang out but definitely not for coffee.

Nice place Great coffee Awesome stuff One huge minus — no outlets. So it’s a great way to complete your assignment in time, come here with 10 present remaining of laptop battery.

This is very nice coffee/breakfast place with cozy atmosphere. People are nice and it has good family vibe. The problem is that coffee does NOTTASTY. I have ordered latte and it taste like’below Starbucks quality’. The beans are burnt and I am pretty sure it has been long since the roasting. can’t enjoy the coffee but can enjoy the mood.

Nice little coffee and tea shop. Staff is always friendly and service isn’t bad! There are lots of people sitting at the tables inside, doing work or chatting. Overall a friendly neighborhood coffee shop. I’ve only ever had the raspberry mocha latte which is great! And thankfully not too sweet too.

This place is not for you if you like your latte made with care. They just don’t now how to steam the milk because the latte is too watered down, not creamy at all. I left really disappointed.

Lawwwwwd have mercy! That blueberry coffee is to die for, I had a buddy of mine drag me in there the other night to snag a late nigh cup of joe and man, was it worth it. The environment was super clean and open. .they have plenty of spaces to sit. I work a lot from my laptop and you will totally find me back in there working away, chugging cups of unleaded. They are open super late which is convenient for a creative like me! Highly Suggested!

I’ve been coming here a lot recently. I like this area a lot now. Very comfortable. A lot of people working, reading and chatting in this place, very comfortable for me to work here. They have a lot of interesting flavors in their coffee selection. However I would only try the original as I do not like any syrup and flavor in my coffee. But if you do like them, it might be the heaven, as they do have a lot of creative selection. Parking around is mostly 2 hour.

The ambiance is really nice, like a good place to catch up with a friend! Also, the employee informed me there are no outlets here, because the owners wanted it to be more of a social coffee shop, so not really a good place to study with laptops. Sad when my laptop died :(. They have a few open spots for street parking that is 2 hours free Monday-Friday. I came on a Sunday afternoon so there were 3 – 4 spots available on the street!

It’s such a homey feeling place. I came here a few weeks ago to get some work done and hide from the cold. This place hit the spot. Guys behind the counter are sweet and friendly. I got a weird tasting drink, but they surely fixed it and offered an alternative that was so much better on the house. Plenty of tables to sit at to do work or socialize. Parking in the back and residential area :) I’m so glad to find a new study spot close to home :)

Visited Priscilla’s while I was in Burbank for a meeting and loved it immediately. It’s tucked away in this small corner storefront with a pretty brick façade and a small outdoor patio area. The parking can be tricky but I found a space right in front with no meter either which is a plus! The inside literally looks like the inside of someone’s living room– book shelves line the walls filled with cute ceramic mugs for sale and books and a nice bar area that looks into the barista area. It’s got enough seating for about 20 – 25 people… I can see it getting busy during peak hours with lots of people working or studying. When I walked in I was greeted right away by a friendly barista who was ready to help me but I needed some time to look over the menu. They have quite the selection from your coffee shop basics to more personalized combinations. I decided on a cinnamon spice latte(can’t recall the name) with soy and they had it ready for me in no time. When the barista finished my drink he made sure to make eye contact and smile even though he had already started another drink… I can always admire great customer service like that. My latte was perfectly executed and I found a nice comfy bar stool to sit in while I killed some time before my meeting. Loved this spot and I’ll definitely stop by when I’m in the area.

Even though Priscilla’s has been around since the dawn of time(aka, ever since I’ve been frequenting the area), I’ve always dismissed it because it didn’t have the flare that I am generally attracted to in coffee shops. It looked a little dated and reminiscent of a Burbank of yore. And while it may not have the chic look, it’s definitely got all the goods you’d want in a coffee shop. The staff is quick-witted and friendly, they have blueberry ice coffee(not flavored with syrup, but beans actually roasted or strained with blueberries), and plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. I’m not as enamored with their non-liquid offerings and when you get a bagel you toast it yourself, but hey, that just means you’ll get it toasted to your liking!

Great place to sit outside. Great coffee. Cant speak much for the food since I’ve never had any but the staff is pleasant, location good, and fellow patrons nice. Love love the big trees surrounding the place and in the summer heat, the wind and shade that you get is heaven.

The first time I came here it was a cold Tuesday evening around 9pm. It’s nice to see that there are a good amount of tables both indoors and outdoors. This place also has their own parking lot – limited space though but there is free parking on the streets. This café is quite lovely. Ambiance is nice even though it can be loud only because either you have a group of people hanging out at one tiy table, of the lady next to you decides to play a bunch of cat videos without her headphones on. This place serves a large selection of pastries and sweet goods like bars too. But of course, they seem to sell all sorts of teas and coffees from all over! ALso, they sell gifts and things. Around 9:30pm I suddenly here«FREEPASTRIES!» Then boom, a tray of baked goods such as coffee cakes, muffins, and scones were placed on the bar counter area with small brown paper bags. REALLY!?! Wow did I just arrive here at the perfect time?! So here’s what I had: HOTTEA– $ 1.65 You know how you just can’t sit at a café without buying anything? Their hot tea only comes in one size and its a large one! I chose green but didn’t get to drink it at all because it was too hot – even without the lid an hour later! So the 2nd time I went, I had them add the boiling water half way and the rest tap water. He put ice instead and the water temperature came out perfect. BLUEBERRYMUFFIN Such a delightful muffin… I ate it so fast. The muffin top wasn’t he only yummy part in this one! There’s actually large berries through out and the sweet muffin top was extra special. CHOCOLATECHIPCOFFEECAKE this pastry had the best of 2 worlds – NO make that 3. It’s like the body of the pastry is a coffee cake with swirls of what i believe was brown sugar… like a coffee cake. The top layer was like the muffin top part of a wonderful strudel muffin(like blueberry) but instead of blueberries its chocolate chips! Oh man! I know its not exactly strudel nor coffee cake but just imagine the best part of those and combine with a chocolate chip cookie – that’s what it tastes like! I’m probably describing this all wrong and this is probably not the name of the pastry bar but it was wonderful. The staff here are just over the top friendly and they are genuine. This place closes at 11pm everyday, so they will start cleaning up around 10pm. I like it here. Too bad the chairs are all metal so its difficult for me to sit here for long… but maybe that’s just the point, haha. Thanks Priscilla for opening this lovely café for us to hang out in for some productivity time. See you again real son!
