Service was slow, but nice servers. There was a room with two big tables and we had two different family’s of 5 sit and dine with us. Great social interaction with both tables. Had the numbers pizza and salad with cilantro vinegarette both were great!

Darrell, was great. He couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning to see him the next time we are in BV. He was even so kind to arrange a personal tour of the brewery with Brewer Shane. Being an avid home brewer myself it was great to see what a top of the line brewing system looks like. Shane was great as well giving me advice for my home brew set up all while explaining what everything was and did. We can’t wait to return on our next trip.

Cool place, cool view, cool staff, cold beer. This is my third or fourth visit. I would go out of my way to visit this fine brewery. At least half of their brew list I rate greater than 4 out of 5.

Horrible food and service. All our meals came out at different times, and since everyone was finished and I hadn’t received mt meal, I asked them to cancel it and remove it from my check. The bartender instead told me she voided my entire check and refunded all of it, but she never did. So not only do they make crappy food, they lie and steal. I will happily make this review slightly better if they contact me to refund the portion of my check that I never received.

I came in over Cottonwood pass. The back patio was open and fun was on tap. I went inside because the patio was full of people and dogs. Arf. This place is tiny 6 bar seats and 2 tables. What cracked me up the sign said no more than 48… hehehe. So i ordered the raspberry wheat beer. It was about as sour as a fresh lemon quarter. My vitamin C is peaking. Never had anything that tart ever. Was well made. Then got the Pull Pork Nachos. The salsa has some very cool spices and was fresh. The nachos came out in minutes… plenty of pork black beans and great flavor. The Staff was Friendly,(the waitress that sux wasn’t there apparently) food was quick and good beer was cold, I like it. It was refreshing to hear some nice alternative music quietly playing in the background and the tv’s were on espn. I guess they got my MEMO.

Went here for lunch after a hike in a group of 7… don’t even know where to begin. I’ve gotten somewhat accustomed to the terrible service that is the norm in the high country, but this place really takes the cake. First of all, our server made it very clear that she did not want to wait on us from the get, by informing my sister repeatedly that the only table large enough to accommodate us was in a smaller room off of the bar, and there might be other people in there(there wasn’t). She then took our drink order… but completely ignored me despite the fact that was sitting in the middle of our group– because I wasn’t drinking alcohol. She didn’t even offer me a water, and I had to flag her down separately to order a soda. We had to tell this person that we wanted to order food, repeatedly, and when she finally made time to take our order, it was obvious by her attitude that she did not want us there. Let me pause here and say that we are ALL service industry, and were not in any way bad guests. We were quiet, respectful, and clean. When our food came, mine was wrong. I ordered the burrito SMOTHERED in green chili. She put my food down and then said, «Oh you’re supposed to have chili on that» and then walked away. Another staff member came back a few minutes later and dropped a cup of COLD chili in front of me. Now, to preface, when our group had ordered beers, our server made a HUGE deal over how spicy the chile infused beer was and insisted that they try it before ordering… would’ve been nice if she’d shown me even an ounce of similar consideration. Not only was the chili cold and gelatinous, but it also was so spicy that I had to then scrape it back off the burrito just to eat it. Everyone’s chili is different, but in 1.5 years of living in CO, I’ve never been served GREEN chili that was THAT spicy, which tells me that either a) it was very old or b) they have no idea what kind of peppers go into a green chili. Either way, it would have been nice if the server had warned me prior to ordering that this was 3-alarm chili, in the same manner as she had warned the others about the beer. All in all, we felt very unwelcome in this restaurant. They need to train their staff a little better and remind them that people are coming here for a good time, not to be treated like a nuisance. Next time, we’ll just eat at K’s across the street and pick up a 6 of Eddyline at the convenience store.

We went here last night but usually go to the other location in town. There’s a bigger menu than we expected and they have great options for kids! The pizzas are great and the beers are great too! We have good service and love the atmosphere. It looks like a great outdoor space for summer too! Will def be back! The raspberry wheat is the best raspberry wheat I’ve had! My husband is more the iPa and darker beers type and he really enjoyed his too!

I give this place a higher rating if they did the following: keep the TV on the game I asked for ‚(and asked the patrons), make exact change for cash customers, and give me the gift cards I earned before the summer crowds hit.

A friend who lives in town recommended we have lunch here today I was a little taken aback by how small the establishment is, inside The server was very prompt, and informative about there current craft beer specials For lunch I opted to have their nachos, with pork I was impressed The sheer volume of food on the plate made the price tag sting much less, but the quality, and specifically the flavor, and seasoning of the pork, made any consideration of the price disappear Often when ordering nachos I find them heavily laden with beans, because it adds substance, but does not significantly increased food costs for the establishment That was not the case, today, as the ratios of all of the ingredients were expertly matched I can’t say if the salsa was handmade, but it was very good I would have loved to have sampled some of their craft beers, but my friend had to go to work I don’t live in the area, and have never actually been through here previously, so the likelihood of my returning is extremely negligible However, if I do return to Buena Vista, I will try to make it back to Eddyline

Just got into town and heard about their pizza so decided to go. Not many people inside the place but only one waitress working. After getting our drinks and waiting for about 20 minutes we finally decided to leave because nobody had taken our order. It was obvious that they paid more attention to the locals than they did tourists. Told the waitress that we were leaving and she still charged us $ 12 for our drinks which we didn’t even finish they still sitting on the table. Will never be back and don’t recommend this place to tourists. It’s obvious they paid more attention the locals and they do anybody else. We will never recommend this place and will never be back.

Great food, though VERY expensive for a place like Buena Vista. The beer is okay. I’ve never thought any of it is great, but they generally have some decent ones on tap. This place gets crazy busy, so be prepared for a long wait at peak times.

When we first arrived in BV, we couldn’t find any restaurant open except this one. I’ve been to their sister restaurant several times which is only about a mile away and this is more like a bar. Being so late, it appeared as if the bartender was wearing all hats by then — serving, bartending, and closing up. He was friendly enough but definitely let us know we didn’t have much time — several times. Fried pickles are one of my favorite things and theirs are as good as you get. We got their Hawaiian pizza too, which was okay. The other Eddyline is much newer, spacious, bright and not like a pub.

Great. Beer. Great. Beer. Food. Eddyline’s almost feels out of place in Buena Vista since the town is somewhat small and quaint and Eddyline’s is like one of those pubs that would be serving a much bigger town. Their craft beers had great flavor and the pub food was just great! Excellent pizzas(great crust), some cool corn-tortilla tacos, and the pork sliders were just fantastic! The folks working there were great. There are actually two locations. We were at the original and didn’t make it to the other one. They said the other, newer one has more food choices. I wish we could have made it there. Next time!

Wonderful dinner. Started with fried pickles in beer batter, 6 of them, plus comes with spicey dip that was perfect. Homemade root beer was great, not too carbonated nor over ice which cause it to water down. Fire oven pizzas, you can smell from the street. Out Marguarita pizza was good with a twist of balsamic on top. Jen, our waitress, was attentive and polite. Finished with an order of sopapillas, cinnamon and honey, all on outside patio with fun music, perfect ending for a fun day in Aspen.

After the experience we just had, we will not be back. First off, we ordered a beer flight that was almost gone by the time our food showed up, yet we were never asked if we’d like another drink and ate our entire meal(a fairly spicy meal) without any beverages. I requested salsa and chips per the free check-in offer via Unilocal, which I showed to our waitress when ordering. She then charged us $ 2.99 for the salsa and chips, telling my husband she needed to see the offer when he was paying our tab, after I had went to go pull our car around because it had started raining and our windows were down. That’s just shady at best. We were then charged $ 1.50 extra per blue cheese. Seriously? You could buy an entire bottle for that price, and these should be complimentary if not $ 0.50 each at most. What should have been a $ 36 tab wound up being over $ 45 before tip. That is just plain ridiculous for two burnt crust 11″ pizzas and a beer flight.

Visited here on our way down to Pagosa Springs from Denver and we were VERY happy with our experience! They have a great, dog-friendly, shaded patio, along with very friendly staff. We ordered the red chile spicy chicken wings and they were great. Just the right amount of spice without being overwhelming and they were cooked to perfection. The standout of the meal was the«simplicity» pizza. It was a cheesy combination of HATCHGREENCHILE(yeah, maybe I am from that area and am biased), pepperoni, and quite possibly the best crust this side of the Mississippi(soft on the inside, and fried-crispy on the outside). There isn’t any sauce on it, so if that doesn’t suit you, so be it… Just know you’re missing out. The beers are a big stand out here! The Crank Yanker is one of my favorite IPA’s I’ve had besides my beloved La Cumbre from Albuquerque, but that’s another story. It had a citrus aftertaste which I’m a big fan of. The raspberry wheat was really good, along with their poplar pale ale. They sell growlers and 6-packs too, although the Crank Yanker was sold out when we went there. So… We definitely stopped here on our way back to Denver… It’s a winner in my book.

This is a great location to grab a beer on tap and some tasty pizza. We had a New Mexico themed pizza and it did not disappoint: wood fired to perfection with a good balance of flavors, not an extra drop of grease to be found — always a plus in my book. Of note, they also have a restaurant in town which has a slightly different menu … May be something to check into before sitting down. This location was quite small but large wooden tables and excellent décor make it homey, giving off the impression that this is where locals come to grab a pint. As for the beer, well it was pretty good. The Jolly Roger Black lager was actually excellent. The only downside to our visit is the number of beers available on tap … Maybe 6 or so, and none of the ones we were seriously interested by. Perhaps the other location has more of a selection. I was expecting more, but the pizza was more than enough to make up for it.

Great beer, friendly staff and delicious pizza. If you’re a local they have discounts on Tuesdays. If you’re on a road trip their food hits the spot. Had the Simplicity pizza and it was light, not greasy and just a hint of spice. Their seasonal 14er Imperial Java Stout was on point as well.
