Had 4 different tacos — nothing special and tortillas did not taste homemade to me!

Amazing little place. Homemade tortillas are the bomb. Street tacos for 1.95. The chile verde and potato /​chili pasilla tacos were yummy!

Delicious tacos, incredibly variety, and cute interior. Fantastic homemade tortillas. This place is a good find in Buellton, where there aren’t many options. I didn’t think they were LA-​taco-​truck-​level of greatness, but still solid.
The worst part was the service. The woman who took our order acted as if we were annoying her. Even after we ordered and sat to ear, we noticed her giving us the stink-​eye pretty much the whole time we were there. The tacos were almost gone and I ordered some guacamole and chips to snack on. She brought us a plate of guac, but that’s it. I walked up to the counter to ask for chips, and she told me flatly, «We’re out of chips.» You couldn’t have told me that before I ordered and gave you my money? Don’t those two go together? I guess we could eat it with a spoon?
The tacos left a good taste in our mouths; the attitude didn’t.

I am blessed and cursed to work across the street from them because their tacos are my newest addiction. Their tacos have always been made with handmade tortillas and always steaming hot when I pick up my order. My favorite are their veggie tacos and asada=) and as a bonus the staff is very friendly.

Tacos were ok. Limited menu and seating. Very casual joint for good mexican. I got 4 different types of tacos and some guacamole and thought everything was ok to good. However, ladies running the place at the time had a HUGE attitude. We ordered guacamole, but they didn’t tell they didn’t have chips– even after we asked, they decline to make any. They also mad-​dogged us the whole time.

Good solid taqueria. Nice that it’s not all «gringo». Excellent carnitas! Stopped in for lunch on a rainy drive from LA to Monterey, totally hit the spot. Wish I lived closer so I could sample more.

This was such a surprise. The handmade tortillas lured me in but the food was spot on. Really solid Mexican food and inexpensive. The salsas were great (green was good but not the best I’ve had) and the handmade tortillas were heaven. I visit this area often from LA and will be looking forward to hitting up this place each time.

Best burrito I have had in a very long time. The tacos were amazing as well. A really nice surprise.

Total underdogs. Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. This is honestly the best home made style Mexican food restaurant I have been to. They make home made tortillas and they pack their food.

El sitio is one of the best mexican restaurant I’ve had. Everything is very fresh and not to mention home made tortillas. I’ve had just about everything on the menu and it never disappoints. Have fun finding a parking spot tho lol. :)

We stopped by here while getting gas on a long trip. I remember that the place was small, the tortillas homemade and the food was great! I do not remember the specifics of what we ordered but I did want to give them a rating because we made note to stop here whenever traveling. Great town because of this food and cheap gas.

OK place, though it was oddly priced and oddly staffed.

BEST little taco dive anywhere I’d think. Fresh hand-​made corn tortillas filled with your choice of delectably seasoned meats… lengua, pork, carnitas, beef, fish, etc. Nothing crazy, just good old-​fashioned YUM. Three tacos were not enough! Be careful driving by — you’ll miss it if you don’t pay attention. But pay attention, cuz it’s delicious.

I have been to Buellton so many times and have never been by this place. I have driven by and did not see it.
It is tucked right in there and a hard find if you don’t know where you are going. The Unilocal app was right on the money with the location.
The food was really good. I want some more and the prices are SUPER CHEEP.
My only complaint is that there is no beer and they did not have any chips so that I could enjoy the different salsas.

Review based on coming in at 8:12pm and when we went up to place the order, the lady told us its only to go.
Wasn’t happy that the placed closed at 8:30pm and wasnt given the option to sit and enjoy .
Disappointed cause I really wanted to try the food here.

Had the brick layers lunch, grilled beef, sautéed onion and sautéed Jalipino peppers… Great with homemade corn tortillas and fresh Pico. Kat had the Adobado Mixto, pork in a ssuce with cleese, not bad.
Have to say that the place could have used someone to clean the tables, did it ourself with staff looking on. oh well, the food made it worth the trouble. Better thsn any we have ever had in Arizona.

What a great find! Everything is cooked fresh on the grill. My husband said, «best homemade tortillas he’s ever had.» We really liked the flavor of chili verde pork tacos and the zucchini smothered in cheese tacos are my favorite. We were excited to find out they have another location in Goleta. Nice fresh salsa bar. The Salsa Verde is the best I’ve had.

$ 2 buc Tacos; about 10 different types to choose from; homemade corn tortillas; beans & rice with the respect of Mexican culture;& 1 badass salsa bar where standard fare is not even a consideration.
What’s not to like? Well if you don’t, I will gladly consume all your leftovers :)
