Best crispy tacos around. Best salsa too. This is my new go to taco spot. Ice cold beer as well. Friendly atmosphere.

I was very impressed with this place. We came in with a big party including kids(yeah kids meals!) and they easily accommodated us. There was a quaint little patio outside and by the time we were settled in our seating the food started coming up. It appeared to be family run as we felt very comfortable and attended to. I had flautas and took soup to go. I thought it would be a small ap based on the pic and price but they were huge and delicious. I’m sure glad that I don’t live in Buellton cause I might be there more than I would want to be! This place exceed my expectations for the area.

The husband and I stopped at Taco Roco on the way to work for a breakfast burrito. We werent in a hurry, thank goodness. It took 15 – 20 minutes for us to get one burrito. Once on the road we opened up the burrito which contained solid egg and a tiny bit of bacon. It was just ok. Unfortunately, the burrito was so boiling lava hot that we couldn’t even eat it for another 10 minutes. They had to have put it in the microwave forever. We won’t be returning to Taco Roco for breakfast that’s for sure. If you do. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time…

Weekday lunch, two chicken enchiladas, side of beans, ala carte. Take a number, delivered to your table. Small portions, excellent taste, good beans, lots of chicken in the enchilada. Total bill less than $ 11.00. Rates as a good value.

Try the #18, fried shrimp tacos witrh rice and beans. One of my favorite quick meals on the Central Coast. The carnitas is also excellent. Taco Roco/Taco Loco has been feeding me for 21 years and I’ve never been disappointed. I also really like their wet burritos and fried beef tacos(dorados).

I was visiting from Los Angeles and wanted some tacos! I found this place on the corner and went in at 11:25am to order 2 steak tacos to go, i didn’t leave until 11:50 with my tacos… the service was horrible i even warned a couple behind me that I’ve been waiting 30 mins for 2 tacos and they thanked me for the heads up and left. After leaving the whole experience left a bad taste in mouth after that i wasn’t even hungry to eat the tacos i waited for.

Stopped for In and Out but apparently it’s no longer in Buelton so I stopped here instead. Taco menu caught my eye and I love a good pastor taco. Nice traditional adobe place, with Mexican tile and music on the stereo. Clean facilities and all that jazz. $ 2.50 Burrito Monday ended up selling me. Pastor Burrito and a Horchata under $ 5. Fast service and Out the door. I don’t know if they ran out of burrito coverin’s or their recipe for a burrito is a huge soft taco but that’s what I got. most traditional Mexican spots are personal recipes and every one does it different and that’s the best part. Whole thing was good and Horchata to. Thumbs up. 5 stars if In and Out was still there and I STILL went here instead ;) also haven’t tried anything else on the menu so can’t go 5 yet.

The shell on my taco salad was wonderfully light and crispy. I was greeted in an especially polite manner and my food came out quickly. The clientele had a nice banter and the place had a very positive vibe… Recommended.

Taco Tuesday $ 1, $ 1, $ 1!!! Every time we are traveling in this area and staying on a Tuesday, we hit up the Roco. We’ve been 4 times or so. There are about 10 choices of meat and hard/soft shell options. The shredded meat, chicken and carnitas on hard shell are all good. I think these tacos are shrinking but still very sold value. The place gets packed so this is a local favorite.

Burritos Burritos Burritos. I really just love there Burritos, every time I am in Buellton I have to swing by to grab one. It is a pretty small place, so don’t expect to have a place to sit if you go with a bunch of friends. I usually take there burritos to go tho, and they hold up pretty well for that 45 min drive to Goleta. Oh and also don’t forget to grab some horchata easy on the ice. You won’t regret the pit stop.

After the 4th of July parade in Solvang the GF(Queen of Reseda) and I were hungry for some good Mexican food. Note to self– Do not attempt to leave the City of Solvang and travel to Buelton right after the 4th of July parade. Give that 30 minutes to ease up. It took about an hour to get to Buelton. Felt like I was back in LA. Taco Roco ending up being pretty dam good. We discovered the outdoor garden area with a fountain behind the restaurant. Great place to enjoy a cold cerveza. Good chips and salsa. I scarfed down a two taco combo and one fish taco. What? I was hungry. The Queen of Reseda had a Chicken Tostada. She felt guilty after eating it. It was good. Taco Roco was a pleasant surprise. I’d go back anytime,

Well, my wife and I came back after our first visit last fall. Again, we were in our RV at Flying Flags Resort. Stopped in on Saturday for some tacos at lunchtime. These are really wonderful. simple tacos with all of the fixins right on the counter to load up for yourself. When we departed on Monday I went over and got a coupe of to-go orders. Chorizzo & Eggs and Chile Verde Omelet. Wow, we could have split either one and gone home happy. If you like good mexican food you will love this place!
