The Alamocha is excellent. The owner handcrafted a delicious version per my request. :)

what?! how have i not written a review for this place yet? new location. same goodness. now with this new location, i’m not driving 20 minutes north, i’m driving 20 minutes south. i still do it. the coffee still makes me happy. iced alamocha. extra whip. perfect every time. a little under $ 5, but i deal. the REAL problem, if you’re like me, is that it’s way out in buda and it closes a little earlier than i’d prefer on weekdays(9pm). it’s the taco deli of coffee shops. and sometimes this gal craves texspresso late at night!(and message to george costanza: coffee means coffee.) … but when i do make it out there during their operating hours, it puts a smile on my face every time.

OMG! Dave is back! I have been following, drinking, eating at Texspresso for 12 years. He catered my wedding with Alamocha’s(it was my wedding and I didn’t care if some wanted«regular coffee» — oh yes I heard that complaint from a few people– of course I divorced a few years later and those complainers went with him) I wanted Texspresso! ;) Starbucks has nothing in comparison to the Alamocha, it is to die for. Ok I wouldn’t really«die“to have one but I crave them and have for over 12 years. Now that they are back I will have to stop in on the weekends when I am heading to tube down the Guadalupe so I can get my Texspresso/caffeine fix…
