We decided to celebrate Mother’s Day early by having dinner Saturday– we like the ambiance of the pub but we order off the regular dinner menu. The Caesar salad to start– the salad is a perfect Caesar. The eggplant rollatini was delicious as was our entrees of Filet Mignon and the special Blackened COD. The cod portion was from the tail so was undersized but it was cooked to perfection. Service also was terrific– very friendly staff — we highly recommend this restaurant if coming to Bucks County

Where to start?! Whether you’re looking for a special evening out or a casual dinner, Baci and Heart of Oak Pub are the best of both worlds! They have an elegant reataurant located on the second floor with beautiful décor and friendly service. Also an extensive wine list. Downstairs is more casual fare with Burgers, fish and chips among other popular pub food. Oh and also a ton of imported beers! But the best part is you can also get the menu from upstairs(Steakhouse and Italian Cuisine) If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and check this place out!

Did Heart of Oak pub. Large amount of beers on tap and great old English atmosphere. Ordered Bangers and mash and buffalo calamari. They split the orders for us and both were wonderful.

Beautiful building. Food is very well done. Service is friendly. Would love to have vegan options, especially some good vegan pastas. A vegetarian shepherd’s pie would be a plus, also a daily vegetarian or vegan soup selection. Dinners are too pricey for us. Wish more vegetables came with the entrees instead of having to order sides. Thanks for feeding us!

Wonderful atmosphere, came here with my wife and daughter and the wait staff and music(live guitar player) were very nice. I wasn’t crazy over the appetizers so we went for soup and salads and they were both good. We ordered steaks and pasta, my steak was cooked, get this, exactly as I ordered it! I was surprised and then I wondered why I should be surprised to get what I ordered. The pasta was delicious and my only complaint is that I didn’t have any room for dessert.

Just okay. Over priced food — nice atmosphere — odd service. We had tomato crab bisque, tasted like pre-made soup, with a very little amount of crab in it. Salads were okay. We were given stale bread(we had to ask for fresh bread and it was good) Main entrees — tortellini with sausage in a pink sauce was tasty. Special gnocchi with salmon in a garlic sauce was very greasy and frozen gnocchi. I would expect at these prices that it would be hand made. Service was odd. We never really knew who our server was. Different people came to the table. We had to ask for a wine list, fresh bread, and a dessert menu. It was strange. Probably will not return. Not worth the $$

My husband and I both enjoy our dinners at Baci. We have been there 4 or 5 times this past year and every time was the same delicious meal. My husband had shepards pie. I had a shrimp dish with white beans that Is delicious. It is old style décor but very cozy. A family friendly atmosphere or romantic or just out with friends for a great dinner.

Went here for New Year’s Eve 2015. The night started off fine — waitress came around for our drink order and to see if we were ready to order. She didn’t reappear for about 10 minutes, and took our dinner order. We’re sitting chatting at the table, and 10 minutes goes by, 20 minutes… and no appetizers come out. Finally, another waitress comes over to fill our water glasses and regrets to inform us that our order ticket has been lost, she needs to retake all of our orders. We do, and she tells us that our appetizers will be comped. Once we did start to get food, it was pretty good. Caesar salad was lightly dressed(a plus in my book). Fried calamari was tasty. I order the tortellini as a main dish, it was pretty good. We had a bunch of waiters/waitresses, so I wasn’t really sure who was our main waiter, which was ok for me since my water glass constantly needed refilling, but it made it hard for the tip on the bill. Not sure I’ll make it back here, but an ok meal nonetheless.

After a wedding at Peddler’s Village, we decided on-the-fly to hit a bar before going back to our hotels, and we ended up here. And this place. Was. Awesome. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and they made the entire evening more special just by being so cool. And they even knew the most obscure drink orders we threw at them! Loved it all.

HORRIBLE!!! OVER priced for what they serve. Out of a party of 11, only 2 people were satisfied with the taste and portion they received. 2 people ordered the Costoletta Ripiera and it was outstanding. 1 adult ordered the Scaloppine Fiorentina and the meet was not fresh and over cooked. 1 adult ordered the Bangers & Mashed for $ 14,(cheapest at our table) and they received only 1-half of a sausage!!! That is an insult for anyone. Others ordered off that nights special menu, beef and pasta and they were lucky to see two tiny pieces of beef smoothed in pasta and noodles for $ 30.00 each. This entrée should be on the kids menu. Oh what, they don’t have a kids menu. The service was terrible, waited too long for drinks and appetizers to come to table, and once they did show up some were wrong. Received the wrong drinks and food orders 4 times. Drink and food delivery was very choppy. Had people waiting for all the food to be delivered so we could all eat at the same time. Poor accommodations for anyone under the age of 16. Dessert were ok, I tried the pumpkin cheese cake which was very dry. Did I mention that the dessert order was wrong too? Maybe by know it is assumed. Too dark and climate of the room was, hot-cold, hot-cold. They put two table together for our party. Each table was round with four leafs that folded up. So the two people sitting on the ends had leafs that were dropping and their food and drink keep sliding towards them. REALLY!!! Buyer beware!!! And to top off the night, after receiving the check, the waitress forgot to include the automatic gratuity for parties of 6 or more and had to take the check back to include it. Needless to say, $ 730.00 later we are not happy and do not recommend this place to anyone.

As far a steakhouse goes, my boyfriend left happy. The steak he got was enormous, and cooked exactly as he wanted it. Personally, I feel that if you are going to pay 34 dollars for a steak, it should come with a potato. And salad. His steak came with some mixed veggies, but all other sides were al la carte. The service was great, and wait time was non existent. However, we went around 5:00 on a Saturday, and as we were leaving, the place was packed. So maybe get there earlier if you want to avoid a long wait, as other Unilocalers seemed to express. As far as vegetarian options… there weren’t many… if any. But hey, I was in a STEAK house so this is kinda expected. I did see one or two on the«casual fare» menu, so I will have to go back and check that out maybe for lunch sometime. I ordered the Linguini and clams and it did come with a bunch of clams, not very much pasta. Apparently it used to be an Italian Restaurant, but now they are gearing towards just being a steakhouse. Overall, it was a nice experience for a special occasion, I just left feeling that for the price, they can at least throw in a salad.

We had a lovely dinner for two-food was outstanding, service was perfect(our server Amy had just the expertise needed to provide top notch service). We ate in the dining room upstairs where it was quiet and romantic, had a warm fire in the fireplace and the piano player provided the perfect compliment to our meal. We’ve lived in the area for years, but for some reason never made it to Baci. To be sure, we will be back!

When you’re heading down 202 and directions turn you down what looks like a residential road, trust your GPS. You’re almost there! This hidden gem offers classic Italian warmth. Authentic dishes and the wine keeps a-flowing. Good for mid-sized groups and conversation but also intimate setting for a table of two. Cozy little spot I’d highly recommend.

Best Italian food in Bucks County, PA. Yes, really. Have tried it few times in the span of a decade. This is not a typical, tomato sauce laden Southern Italy fair, but instead very flavorful and diverse Northern cuisine. Think a perfect mix between Italian and French and you’ll get an idea about the types of sauces garnishing perfect cuts of meat or fish. From the soup, through the salad(so good, it should be a meal by itself), all the way to main course — every dish we tried was superb. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, fresh beyond belief. Portions are large enough to share. Prices are reasonable, if not downright low, considering the type of meal you get. Glancing over other reviews — yes, service could be on a slow side and I wouldn’t force my kid to come along, but the exquisite meal far exceeds the little extra wait. Very much looking forward to the next time.

Meh. First off, the address and the map attached to this and other listings are, at best, misleading. «Bogarts Tavern Road» is the best phrase to search for directions. Baci is the nice dining room above the Heart of Oak pub, which are in the same buiding and business located across the street from the Wawa and Candlewyck tavern at the very BUSY strip between Routes 463, 202 and 413. So the location is either convenient or a pain, depending on whether you are local and by how much. The food is pretty good but not remarkable. My crabcake sandwhich, ordered off the pub menu, was OK but a bit too mushy. My fellow diners’ meals — chicken in gravy, steak and cappelini with olives and capers, all off the regular Baci menu — were reported to be good. The appetizers and bread were very good. Overall, the prices are reasonable but not cheap. The dining room is elegant and often has a piano player. This would be a good place to take a date for dinner(though the road location is not romantic and the average diner age on a recent Friday night appeared to be in the low 60s). Unilocal, please update your«good for kids» tab to NO! This place is TERRIBLE for kids. Do not bring children here. The dining room is very boring for kids who will not be able to sit still. Essential things for parents such as drink cups with straws and dedicated kids menu, are missing.

I went here for dinner a while back but I still remember it like it was yesterday. The style of this place makes you feel like you traveled across the sea into the Italian old country. With the romantic lighting and a classical piano player, this place gives you the full experience of Italy. The food was 100% authentic and couldn’t have been better. I ordered a seafood pasta, the name escapes me at the moment, that came in a very large bowl and almost overflowed onto the table. You definitely get your bang for your buck at this place for the portions are not small! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an intimate dinner with a loved one. Great food, amazing service. Its worth the drive to Buckingham.
